I didn’t notice her before…but now I do.The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair.Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns. Her passion for neatness.Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever.I need to know everything about her.Her past. Her present. The way she takes her coffee.Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings. She’s … spritz of perfume in the mornings.
She’s perfect in every way and I was blind.
But, God, now do I see.
I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet.
How she visits the same market each Saturday.
The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.
Violet is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.

***4.5 ‘Stalker Love’ Stars***
First off: Read the author’s warning about this book. Take it in. Process it. And take it for the god’s honest truth because this is NOT your mama’s mama romance. And then dive in and enjoy the hell out of it. Notice is a fun, sexy, unusal, dark and yet sweet romp that had me questioning my own sense on a few occasions as I devoured this book and fell into adoration with these two broken and twisted characters and their journey.
Gray is all kinds of obsessive and possessive alpha male with a questionable moral compass and yet I adored him. Though there is no doubt that his actions are questionable on so many levels, there is a vein of honor and compassion that flowed through Gray that had me simply accepting the stalker in him. As twisted as it sounds, it made him loveable in a sweetly creepy way. Violet is a survivor. She’s experienced so much and fought through all kinds of crazy that I couldn’t help but love and admire her. There is part of her that is still broken and vulnerable, but none of it makes her weak. She’s got all kinds of moxie and gives as good as she gets.
“….’Why can’t you just date her like a normal person? Is it necessary to stalk her?’
Me: I’m trying. And until then, yes.'”
That quote pretty much sums up a good portion of the evolution of Gray and Violet’s relationship and yet it all just worked. It’s twisted, a little dark and creepy but sweet, smexy ~ very smexy ~ and fun all at the same time. It’s simply something you must experience because a connection does form between them that makes absolute sense. They end up making the other stronger and filling the void in their lives.
Notice is all kinds of twisted, fun goodness and though it has it’s dark elements and be triggers for some, it’s not as dark as I thought it would be, which isn’t a bad thing at all. The writing was engaging and I loved being inside both Gray and Violet’s heads. The secondary characters were well written and I loved what they added to the story, Bull is my favorite. And then there is that epilogue. It’s one of those where it’s what you expect and yet are surprised by all at the same time, much like the book itself. This was a fun and unexpected read and if you like heros who definitely walk to the beat of their own drum and own it, then give this one a go!

Wow. This book was wow. I cant believe it has taken me this long to read a book by this author. I am obsessed. And I am hungover from Grayson Maxwel! This book captivated me and stole my attention so effortlessly. I fell in love. With the characters, with the writing, with the story and with the author. I now notice and I am never going to lose focus again.
** spoiler alert **
Loved this book I wanted more of Violet and Gray! Yes he is a stalker and they both have huge issues and her ex is a wicked f’ed up whackadoodle, but t all works. I loved the stuff about his mom and sister and their hoarding and his crazy insane devotion to Violet and wanting her and wanting to keep her safe. I love that she got mad when she should but that she just didn’t freak out and run away like the woman does is so many books. Thy get married have kids and the stuff about their son Thomas at the end was very cool.
Love these two and would love to read more about them.
Couldn’t put it down. One of my top favorite books ever.
Really nice! This stalker and workplace romance is different, edgy and DARK. Not really dark, but definitely dark.
This story revolves around two characters, Grayson and Violet, both survivors and exceptionally strong. The plot is different and all consuming. I procrastinated reading this one for weeks, but when I did, I finished it in hours. You just can’t keep it down.
The characters are somewhat twisted, dark and most importantly, enthralling. Violet is a SURVIVOR. Overcoming the setbacks and throwing off the demons of her past, she has made a life for herself, all on her own. Hurt and damaged, but not broken, the woman is resilient.
Grayson is a complex character. He’s definitely an alpha, possessive and obsessive, but he’s different. And hot.
The book is very hot and steamy. It’s naughty and the feels are eye watering too.
The specialty about the book, and the author in general is that she doesn’t shy away from the darkness and she DOES NOT hold back. She goes where authors rarely do and addresses widely untouched issues and jumps headfirst into everything dark.
Amazing read!
IDK where to start with this book. I loved it but my only complaint is it was over too soon. K Webster is one of my favorite authors and I have been catching up with her backlist books and loving every one of them. Gray, our MC, isn’t for everyone. He’s obsessed with her and will do everything to keep her safe and beside him. Violet has been abused in her past and is desperate to keep her present safe from it. But it’s not easy. she’s determined, fierce, and brave but there’s only so much one can take after the absolute hell she’s lived through and you bet Gray gives her some serious shit to think through. I absolutely loved their chemistry and the lengths Gray went to, in order to, keep Violet. Together, they are fire, nothing else describes them better. It’s also steamy af, and I loved every second of it. You can always trust K with this stuff. I do realize it might not be for everyone, it has some triggering moments so if you are uncomfortable with sexual assault or abuse in general, skip it. But if you are ok and like the stalker trope, go for it.
4.5 stars
This is some next level stalker $hit right here! And I LOVED it! Gray and Violet were hot in the sheets and so REAL outside of them. Violets reactions to Grays crazy were perfect. And the heartbreaking histories they both suffered, it made me root for their HEA more than I normally do with characters. K Webster has hit another one out of the park!
K Webster…what is there ever to say about K Webster except WTF did I just read? K has a talent for twisting your expectations, challenging you with stuff that’s like…really…just wrong. But I’m into wrong! In a romance I love me some wrong and I’m fully capable of maintaining my senses and recognizing that it’s not okay in the real world.
I think there’s a delineation inside the Romance community. There’s what’s okay in the real world and what’s okay between the pages of a Romance novel. What happens in this book is wrong in the real world but kinda fun in a romance novel. If completely ridiculous.
There’s a lot going on with this story. Like a lot. The FMC quits her job and her boss of six years has never looked at her. Not once.
But then she quits. And so he looks. And then he can’t stop looking, so he stalks her.
Literally.
That’s this book.
***SPOILERS AND TRIGGER WARNINGS BELOW***
(you should know you’re getting filthy subject matter if we’re discussing anything written by the cherubic-appearing but wildly-minded K Webster)
He breaks into her apartment, hacks into her SM, reads her text messages, strips her naked in her sleep and whacks it on her corpsine body while wearing nothing but his socks and then sleeps naked under her bed and whacks it again. That’s what he does. Repeatedly throughout the book.
It’s got some of the 50SoG vibes of a heroine who’s honestly not really all that capable of running the show. She thinks she is…she talks big game but makes incredibly dumb choices. Left to her own devices she gets stupid drunk and humps potential future employers and lives in a shithole. So…I mean…seriously, her life is much better with this super hot bililonaire ex marine stalker guy running the show. He reconnects her with her mom and kills her deranged violently abusive pimp ex and buys her a kindle because hers is broken and takes her on vacations she’s never had. And she pulls her weight. She helps his hoarder mom and hoarder sister with their hoarding (HOARDING like…keep their poop and have rats hoarding) problems and helps him see the world around them. He owns a pizza parlor and a resort and promises to buy her old houses so she can fix them up…there’s a lot happening–and don’t forget, he’s under her bed every night jerking off on her.
There was one really fun interplay that happens after she finds out. She’s straddling him for this snippet and grappling with the fact that he’s not perfect, he’s a crazy stalker.
“I’m stilling trying to wrap my head around this. If I had any friends, they’d be telling me to run for the hills.”
“I’d just follow you there.”
“Crazy. You’re crazy.”
I laugh. “I know.”
I don’t know how I feel. He was strangely blase about his stalking and he was mostly harmless…in fact…he actively improved her shitty life. He was a charming hot rich stalker who wouldn’t ever hurt her and liked to shower her in presents…and cum.
There’s a lot of baby stuff like in the sex times. He’s forever talking about fucking a baby into her and watching her get fat with his baby, which, while I don’t find revolting or disgusting by any stretch and I’m all for dirty talk, I mostly find distracting. Cuz while he’s sexing her up I’m just thinking about projectile spit up and diapers and screaming and sleepless wakeups. Babies are the least sexy thing on this green earth. So i have to admit, from a sex scene perspective, i kinda enjoyed him in his socks silently creeping on her in her sleep more than him talking about making babies in her.
Also, I know old guys are hot right now and everyone’s into daddies, but to me…a twenty year age difference and I start to just think that they’re going to miss out on getting old together because he’s going to die and she’ll be alone at 50, but anyway–he was old. Like late forties I think? I’m not really into it. Old balls. Wrinkles. Someday, she’s going to be a spry 50 and he’ll be hot for 70 but…still. How hot can a 70 year old really be? She’ll be running around with the kids and he’ll need new hips.
Overall, I liked it as much as I like anything by K. It’s kinda gross and challenging and totally fucked-up and not okay, but the story functions and K is really talented with a character lie/ghost/past. She’s on point with the reasons they can’t be together and the tension is great.
This book was crazy! I loved it!!
Dark romance at it’s finest. I was looking for a stalker, possessive dirty talking, dirty sex, alpha read and I definitely got it with this book.
This was a trip to read – I mean a true trip. I love these type romances where the bad guy is bad but in a good way (like Celia Aaron’s The Bad Guy, man I love Sebastian in all his psychopathic glory) and K Webster definitely nailed it in the perfectly over the top way with a WTF twist at the end. The way she wrote Grayson’s character was just perfect – he is obsessive, protective, and some of the stuff that he pulled had me dying laughing because it was just so messed up (jacking off while hiding under Violet’s bed being one stunt). But I couldn’t stop loving him. Violet has been on the run and hiding from a severely abusive ex – so there are a few triggers from recalling past events and then towards the end. Once again, I devoured this story by K Webster…this author has yet to disappoint me because she goes where other authors do not. She takes you out of your comfort zone and does it so flawlessly. I loved this read and all its over the top craziness, steam and love…I will be reading this one again in the future.
What the…..what?!?!? Each book I read from K. Webster leaves me wanting more…..more dark, more twisted, more keeping me waiting on baited breath for the next WTF moment! This was Violet and Grey’s story which takes you on one crazy, tortuous journey of finding the person that “NOTICES” you. This book will have you questioning your love for Grey but you just can’t help it and questing what the hell Violet is thinking but in the end you know it couldn’t be any other way!
Oh my, I really did love this it was just so deliciously wrong but still managed to push all my buttons.
I love a bit of weird and possessive and Gray had that in absolute spades.
I mean come on sleeping under her bed really should have had the major creep factor but I just couldn’t help but adore this unusual courtship.
This author always manages to deliver every time for me and she did the stalker thing just so well.
I didn’t really care about believability and the criminality of it al I was just so transfixed throughout.
This was also red hot when it came to the language used and got to say gray sure has a filthy mouth on him and I appreciated every dirty word out of it.
Also loved Violet and her strength in escaping her past, so this had a bit of everything and kept me easily entertained, this was such a different read and definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

I’ve been reading K.Webster so much lately and I have to say so far Notice is one of my favorite books by her.
love the Main Characters Violet and Grayson are perfect for each other.
“I know what’s right and wrong, yet here I am, choosing wrong because it feels right.”
Violet is a beautiful, independent woman, she has been hiding from her terrible past for a long time.. she is a very hard working employee and has been working for a long time in the same company, company that she no longer feels welcome, she is tired of many things that are happening to her, bosses and coworkers treating her disrespectfully in so many ways, she is already looking for a change.. but life has other plans for her and her resignation will take forever to even materialize.. if that ever happens..
“Soon I’ll no longer be just another pretty face who makes coffee at Maxwell Subsidiaries. I’ll be a valued employee. That’s all I’ve ever wanted. To be cherished and noticed.”
Grayson is hiding things from his family and his past, he is a workaholic, he only sleeps around not wanting any serious relationship. He is arrogant, controlling and possessive, due to his past training everything has to go his ways.. but plans and rules are meant to be broken. After years of blindness, Gray is about to lose control when he finally sees her, what he been waiting all of his life.
“This woman is the filling for the void that’s sat inside my chest for as long as I can remember. My life feels complete now. I’m going to work myself so far into her heart, she’ll never want me to leave.”
The Chemistry between Grayson and Violet is very intense, very passionate and sexual. Their stories are so familiar, making them so in-tune, so beautiful and perfect. Grayson understands Violet in many ways a lot of people couldn’t. Now, he feels is time to protect what belongs to him..
“I know. I want her. I want all of her. We have a connection. Both conscious and subconscious. Her body responds to mine. We belong together,”
The secondary characters were also great, adding so much to the story and to the main characters..
Overall, I Love Notice!!, the book has the right amount of angst and drama.. many situations that I didn’t see them coming, making the story even more enjoyable. really love it!!
Oh wow I totally loved this book! Gray was so over the top crazy and I loved it! I couldn’t put it down!
Have I ever mentioned my love of obsessive heroes? In case you don’t know me, I have a deep love for obsessive, stalker-ish behavior.
In books. Not real life.
I don’t want my real life to be Forensic Files material.
But in books? Love it. And Gray fits the bill. *SWOON*

~~ 4 MAD MAX STARS~~
“She was always mine… I just hadn’t found her yet.”
If you are craving a brilliantly penned book featuring a crazy obsessive stalker hero who will go to EXTREMES to claim the woman who consumes his heart and soul, then Grayson Maxwell in NOTICE by K. Webster is gonna drive you WILD !!!
This brazenly sexy boss/secretary romance is outlandish, heartbreaking, emotionally raw, filthy hot, swooningly romantic and so insanely addictive it’s IMPOSSIBLE to put down!!! It’s like insta-love on steroids and I relished very single pulse-pounding moment!
Highly recommend!
Ok it’s official… I’m a sicko
I don’t know how K Webster does it, but she always does it. What is it? She writes a wild and crazy story, that I shouldn’t like. That should make me uncomfortable and run for the hills and I end up loving it. Sigh. I officially need help.
See there’s this box that most romance books go into. It’s a safe little box and sometimes authors reach their hands out of it and have a sort of “edgy” book. Well K Webster she jumped out of the box. Then she ran away. Then she found a rocket launcher and shot the box. That’s what K Webster’s romance is… not outside of the box, a blown up box.
If you don’t like stories about obsession, and I mean serious obsession, then this story most likely won’t be for you. If you can accept love in many forms, and even uncomfortable ones… then you should read Gray & Violet’s story. It’s the perfect color.
I’m pretty sure I’m addicted to K. Webster now. Every time I see a release by her, I jump. And none of them have disappointed!
I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t think that I would enjoy the story-line as much as I did. I mean it kinda made me eye twitchy just reading the blurb. But I new the words would be done right and the story would be done correctly so I jumped … GAH, I’m so glad that I did.
Okay so seriously … what the fuckery moments were running amok here but they were glorious! Seriously, it was a heck of a ride. One I wouldn’t mind taking again but this isn’t the type of story you can really read twice. There’s twist and turns that NONE of you will see coming (some of them maybe but most, no) and once you know them, then there’s no point in going back. This story grabbed my brain and didn’t let go. It was quick and different and very unexpected!
I think a previous reviewer said it best with … I want Maxwell Gray to stalk me 🙂 … YES, ALL THE YESssss!!
There are stalkers and then there are creepers, and Grayson Maxwell is a creeper! His obsessive need knows no limitations or boundaries. He focuses on a task, object, or a feeling and he needs to dissect it, own it and breathe it. To the point you’re under a bed jerking off???? Geez louise….talk about your up close and personal Peeping Tom.
Actually Grayson is not that bad, I believe he comes by his compulsion through a hereditary characteristic passed on from his mother. Read the book, you’ll get it. He means no harm, he is just a little off beat and unconventional.
It takes a slow moment to give him the opportunity to Notice his annoyed and discontented secretary, Violet. The moment his sights set on her, his compulsiveness kicks in and there is an urgency to master her. Violet has a disreputable and shameful past. Her choices have not always been stellar when it comes to men. Will Grayson prove to be another error in judgement? Read the book!!
This is definitely a different concept and leave it to K. Webster to come up with an idea and blow it up to the this whacked out intensity. I loved this book, as I do all of her books, I only wish she could have kicked up the darkness a bit. It’s there, but not in the capacity one would customarily get when you pick up a K. Webster dark book.
