I didn’t notice her before…but now I do.The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair.Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns. Her passion for neatness.Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever.I need to know everything about her.Her past. Her present. The way she takes her coffee.Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings. She’s … spritz of perfume in the mornings.
She’s perfect in every way and I was blind.
But, God, now do I see.
I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet.
How she visits the same market each Saturday.
The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.
Violet is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.

Oh so Wrong and Oh so Right!
Well friends, in this book our hero, Grayson Maxwell is innnntense. Perhaps one of the most intense heroes I’ve read to date, as well as, he can be clinically diagnosed obsessive/compulsive. He is hyper-aware when he sets his sights on someone or something to the exclusion of everything else.
As an elite Marine sniper, this intense focus on a target served him well in the past. Because of his tendency to focus on the target only, his buddy, Bull, always had his back in the military, and still has his back in business and in life. Grayson’s hyper-focus on his business had him failing to notice his alluring personal assistant until she slaps her 14-day “Notice” to him that she will be leaving his employ.
Initially, Grayson doesn’t even know who it is that is demanding his attention until his friend, Bull a.k.a. Jeff, introduces him to Violet Simmons who has been his personal assistant for 6 years. When he does “notice” her, all bets are off. His obsessive need to know everything about her and desire for her begins. She is beautiful. She sparkles. She makes him smile…something he has not been familiar with in quite some time.
“Violet Simmons, my little quitter, made my lips do something they really hate effing doing. And with it, I feel a strange tightness in my chest. I like the way it feels. The foreign ache that matches the one in my cock(tail) coupled with the goofy grin on my face has me feeling more alive than I’ve felt in a really long time.”
Violet has always found Grayson attractive (“hot as he–“) with his muscular physique, his icy blue eyes, chiseled jaw and arrogant manner but he never even spoke to her. She truly felt undervalued and overlooked in all the ways she contributed to the bottom line of Grayson’s business.
Through flashbacks of Violet’s past, we discover she escaped from a former obsessive and abusive boyfriend, Vaughn Brecks. He had her name tattooed across his chest and would buy her things he wanted for her. This man also drugged and raped her. He would even pimp her out to other men for money. She knew if she stayed with him, he would eventually kill her. Violet had her taste of obsessive love and found it unpalatably bitter. She ran and cut off all contact with her past life even with her Mom which wounded her deeply.
Grayson’s brand of obsessive desire and love is a far cry from the abusive monster that was her former boyfriend, yet it is still obsessive . Tension mounts through the read as Violet becomes more and more accepting of Grayson’s sweet gestures and attentions, but she remains blissfully unaware of his nocturnal meanderings through her apartment while she sleeps…and that he settles for little sleep himself under her bed . He is a first-class stalker…he means well…he wants to take care of her…he wants to protect her… still…he is an obsessive stalker that wants to control her life.
The story is told in alternating first person POVs. As Grayson and Violet connect with each other, Grayson becomes more human…a better version of himself. Violet also blossoms under the “notice”, protection and care of Grayson. Their chemistry undeniably sizzles off the page. Clearly Grayson has a good heart and he has the best of intentions…he also has his heart-breaking secrets. Still and all, he is doing crazy things at night in Violet’s bedroom without her knowledge…while she sleeps.
Suspense and tension build in numerous ways as Grayson claims that Violet is and forever will be his. (“She’s mine.”) Their intimate explorations are tantalizing and have Violet singing “Hail to the Chief”. (You’ll get this little quip if you read or have read the book.) Violet has yet to confront Grayson over his very wrong and crazy stalker behaviors and nocturnal shenanigans. Add to this Grayson and Bull’s plan to lure Vaughn to Violet so that Grayson can effectively end his existence…no fuss…no muss…no trace. All these plot points culminate in one over-arching climax.
Everything seems oh so wrong…but then again …oh so right.
If you enjoy reading about a different kind of hero…a darker hero…a little off the center mark of normalcy but still hot AF. And you can understand a heroine who might be a perfect for said hero, then “Notice” is a sure bet for you.
Enjoyed the story line and the characters. Kept my interest throughout the book.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I cannot believe I have waited so long. This was an amazing introduction to her work and style.
Told from a dual POV, the book was fast paced, the intensity was present from the very first page. It gave me chills and palpitations. Grayson Maxwell had my full attention, he was more of an anti hero and some of his actions just left me aghast. I actually found myself holding my breath just waiting… I can’t make up my mind whether I liked Violet / Letty or whether I just found her weak and pathetic and just too accepting.
I just absolutely laughed uncontrollably at the story of Wail the Quail… brilliant touch at an otherwise dark time in Grayson’s life! OMG! What an ending. K Webster waited until the very last page to answer the burning question I had throughout the book. I thought we were never going to find out!!
I’ll definitely be reading more from this author . Absolutely worthy of 5 stars. A must read
Holy mother of dragons!
Fast paced, intense, and dark-ish, twisted hot romance.
This book broke the record in anti hero creepers!
When Max Gray notices Violet he determines she needs protection… at any cost!!
What he does makes you rethink a lot of things about nightly rituals…
At what point does protection become stalking?
And will you like it?
I enjoyed this story, it was a thrilling nail biting highly entertaining read, but there were elements about Max that weren’t very believable.
So this is the type of book that dirties up your pallet, the book that makes you want to read something with butterflies and rainbows because this book is gritty, raw, and dirty and I LOVED IT!!!
You don’t need to be afraid of the boogeyman under your bed, you need to watch out for Gray under your bed. I was instantly intrigued with this idea in the blurb. I was instantly hooked! But once I started the story, I was completely captivated by it. For the most part, this is a fairly short story, not novella short, but short but there was so much information in the book, I don’t know how the author did it. Between Gray and his life and his family, then Violet and her past we got a lot of information plus a story between Gray and Violet. The author didn’t get wordy with detail, and I liked that. It was a story straight to the point. The author told us what we needed to know and that was that.
This is one of the most unique stories I’ve read! There are some dark moments in the book but there was a good balance of some sweeter moments as well. I enjoyed the characters, I loved the storyline and I thought the book was well written.
If you are a fan of dark romances, I highly recommend this one!
K. Webster has struck again. This one really questioned my sanity (not like the other books of hers didn’t…lol) but this made me look really hard at myself and I loved it! K. Webster has a really unexplainable way of making me fall in love with her Dark, brooding, twisted heroes whether they are kidnappers, stalkers, obsessive, etc. Grayson falls into the stalkers category, a really hot stalker .
#isitstalkingifheshot?
Grayson a.k.a Hawk is not your typical man. He can shoot a small-ass target from miles away, he tends to get obsessive and can have tunnel vision at times. His best friend normally breaks him out of these episodes. He can also get extremely obsessed, which we see when he sets his eyes on his secretary.
On the other hand, we have Violet. Violet is such a strong woman, I loved her character. She’s been through so much in her past (that she’s still currently running away from) and yet, her character is still strong and independent. She is very resilient but her experiences make her the perfect match for Grayson (you’ll see what I mean exactly once you read it!)
The minute Grayson finally notices his secretary (years later….), she’s had it with him and can’t wait to kiss his hot ass goodbye (or so she says…lol)
Grayson is one of the sweetest stalkers ever lol. I must admit, I did feel a little creeped out but then you read more a out him, more of him, and somehow, you start to love his sweet and stalker-y ways.
These two individuals manage to finally embrace the attraction they feel for each other.
What happens when her past threatens their future?
This is another MUST READ by K. Webster. It’s a masterpiece all on it’s own and I cannot wait for you to read it.
You will LOVE it.

Oh my…
Talk about uncomfortable…
Yes, it’s a K Webster book. Yes, I’ve read several of her books. No, I was definitely surprised. I thought she couldn’t actually surprise me after the War & Peace series- I was wrong.
One thing you should know about K Web though, you will always, always find yourself falling. Falling in lust, in love, and in line with wherever she wants you to go. Something that made you uncomfortable at the beginning becomes an odd quirk or just another reason to love them.
I feel like I need therapy after everyone of her dark books but the I just can’t do it. As an addict of her words, I would never try to taint them with society’s skewed morals…Just kidding, I think it’s creepy as f@ck that she can bend me anyway she wants but I will still one click until I go broke if her name is on the book.
Before I scare you off, Mr. Maxwell (the @ss) has pissed her off for the last time. Violet is done. But in reality, Grayson had no idea who Violet was. Until she handed in her resignation…
Then it began…
Everything started in that moment.
Follow this crazy train off the rails and to an undeclared destination. You won’t regret it. However, the author does not accept responsibility for new kinks and desires as a result of reading her books. She may however offer advice and guidance on her Facebook page.
Just be aware, it’s all fun and games until you get to the epilogue.

WOW!! Just wow!! This book blew me away, to say the least!! I have to admit I was really creeped out and turned on at the same time!! This book played with my emotions like a fantastic book should and one minute I was tearing up and the next I was shivering with anxiety!! It was exciting and sexy and downright crazy and I LOVED every minute of it!! There’s no cliffhanger and I very highly recommend you very quickly one click this book and get to reading!!! BUT I would like to suggest you do that in the privacy of your home or you may find yourself showing all kinds of emotions out in public!! Enjoy!!
“Grayson Maxwell is so intense that I’ve easily been swept up into his vortex. How will it feel when I finally crawl my way out? Will I be the same?”
You will love Grayson!!! Quirky, peppered with dark, but I absolutely loved his intensity. Incredibly sexy, super steamy, and the banter was pure gold!! I enjoyed the chase, the build-up, and the inevitable collision between the couple that may have started abnormally, but even with his differences he was a panty-melter!!! Don’t miss it!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!
“This is his storm. I was never meant to escape it. I’m his to obliterate and destroy. He’s doing it gently with kisses and love.”

This is a different kind of romance than I’m used to but I fell in love with Gray and Violet’s story. Intriguing storyline that keeps you turning the pages.
Please read the warning in the description before starting, it is definitely dark and could cause triggers. I, personally, loved it.
There’s stalkers and there’s STALKERS
And then there’s Maxwell Gray !
He’s on a whole new Galactic level of Stalking. He was a sniper , he locks on to a target and when it’s in his crosshairs, ALL his senses hone in and he never misses.
His buddy, Bull, is his spotter. He has Max’s back…always
Even when they ease into civilian life, their spotter/sniper brotherhood remains the same.
Max is generally in his own focused world of business , oblivious of everything around him.
Has just hyper focused.
Obsessive about his company.
Driven to succeed.
But not a possessive lunatic.
Like Violet. She’s an excellent secretary , who practically runs his office but is invisible to Max’s eyes. She has to endure office politics, sleazy clients and she wants to resign.
Puts in her Two Weeks Notice and that gets his attention
he notices her..Oh, he NOTICES Her and how.
I didn’t notice her before…but now I do.
He gets obsessed with her, encroaching her personal space, her house, her social life, even her room, a sleeping under her bed!!!!
He vows to protect her from her dangerous past and from his own shameful secrets too.
There’s only room for one freak in her world. And I take up a lot of space
The book is written in a typical Webster style, speedy, hyper, thrilling.
There’s hot sex guaranteed. Passions exploding with a silver lining of emotions.
Her villains are dangerous and maniacal and Vaughan is no exception.
I enjoyed reading it

Once again K Webster has blown me away.
What a story, once I started I couldn’t put it down i read in one sitting it was so good. Is there anything K can’t write this story just pulls you in and keeps you guessing how it is all going to play out.
The writing is great the story will have you turning pages cos you going want to know what is going to happen.
Violet I really loved such a great character and I so felt for her after everything in her past. And that was some crazy stuff..
Gray well where can I find me one of him he can stalk me anytime. What a man he is I really loved him and his stalker ways he can hide under my bed anytime he likes. Other characters have issues too I not go into them but once you read you will find out.
As with all K’s books you will love characters and you might hate some she just has this way of writing them and you are either going love them or hate them…
This book is well written a story that will draw you in I love how K brings them to life. This book is intense, Sexy, Dark in places..
If you are a lover of K’s Books grab this book you will not be disappointed at all. The epilogue I really didn’t see that coming I kept wonder what was in that thing ( spoiler) that was just crazy lol but I loved every minute of this book.
Notice is an interesting story about a rich stalker and a woman who attracts stalkers.
Violet’s previous boyfriend (another stalker) abused her in many ways. So she ran away from him and never told anyone where she was. She just wanted to start a new life away from her painful past.
For years, she worked for Grayson Maxwell, and he never noticed her. He literally couldn’t multitask or pay attention to other things while he was closing deals at his company. So when Violet gives him her two week notice, Grayson finally sees her for the first time… and he’ll do anything to keep her.
I enjoyed reading his point of view and going through the stages of his addiction to Violet. It’s a bit odd reading about his stalking skills in detail, but overall it was an fun experience.
Absolutely riveting!!
Once you enter Webster’s world everything will cease to exist till further Notice –
He is a possessive man- A controlling man -His world is organized -He is trained to focus, to shut out everything except for his target- and nothing will get in his way until he has successfully acquired it –
and Violet just entered his line of sight.
OMG -I want to get lost in MAX
A read that will captivate you from the first to the last page-
The last scene… HOLY CHIT -No peaking (it won’t make sense)
I hope we get a couple more books from the characters – hint hint
This is an 18+ read due to sexual content and graphic situations -may have triggers for some readers
I received a free copy of this book and chose to leave a voluntary review
