Kept me on the edge of my seat loved it
It was a good read. Lots of action and suspense.
Loved this book! Suspenseful yet romantic. I was excited to turn the page and couldn’t guess the ending until the end. Can’t wait to read others in the series
I’ve had several of Ms Boston’s books downloaded on my Nook for a while now and she’s been on my list of books to read, however, this is the first book of hers that I’ve read. It won’t be the last! There’s a little bit of everything in this one.
Ryan and Hannah both come from dysfunctional families. They sort of grew up together, at least for a short time. However, since Ryan is five years older than Hannah they weren’t in each other’s circle of friends. In fact, Ryan doesn’t remember Hannah until his memory is triggered during one of their conversations when she admits she had a crush on him. Both of their pasts come back to haunt them in this story.
The twists and turns in Nothing to Fear keep the reader guessing. Just when I thought I had it all figured out the evidence would prove I wasn’t quite on the right track. I was partially right but hadn’t completely solved the mystery. Ms Boston keeps the reader engaged by unveiling keys pieces of evidence slowly throughout the book and putting enough possibilities in to keep things interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed this one!
I read this a few weeks ago and forgot to review as it’s hard to do on my tablet. the characters are really good and I hated to see this book end. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and found the mysteries intriguing and it’s hard to tell who the culprit is leaving messages – loved this to the very end! 5 stars!
Suspenseful with an surprise ending.
Excellent read. Romantic thriller with very interesting story line. Hard to put it down.
I have been a fan of Claire Boston since I read What Goes on Tour (LOVE you Adrian!) and so I’m always excited to get a chance to read one of her books. She does a great job of delivering not only a dang good love story but also creating a dynamic world full of interesting characters. Occasionally she likes to throw in some suspense or danger just to keep you on your toes 😉
With Nothing to Fear we get a group of friends that have been together for decades and they are still there to support one another every day. That connection has helped prop up Hannah since her father murdered her mother and assaulted in college. She’s managed to keep the latter a secret but she’s relied on her friends to keep her going. Now there’s a threat and she going to have to face her past whether she’s ready or not.
Ryan is new in town and finds himself drawn to Hannah. Obviously something has happened to her to make her so skittish but he’s such a patient man that he’s willing to wait her out. He’s had a history of his own so it helps him understand exactly what she needs.
While the love story and Hannah coming to terms with her past is very well done, add in the mystery of who is leaving her gifts and I couldn’t turn pages fast enough! Boston does a great job of balancing both and keeping your attention until you get to the bitter end. It’s not an easy journey for Hannah but with her support in place and by listening to both her head & her heart she can overcome anything.
*** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
My first book to read by Claire Boston. It was a romantic/mystery book. you have Hannah has been raised by her grandparents after her father had killed her Mother.
Ryan moves back to Blackbridge to start over with his son after a bad marriage.
Looking forward to reading the other Blackbridge Series!
Great story
What didn’t happen to our main character? In fact, it was just a bit too much to be plausible. The date rape could have been omitted & still have enough to make this a great story.
Starts off well but then it dragged until the end. I actually skimmed through most of the middle to get to the end to see who the bad guy was.
This was a good read with a lot of twists! Just when I thought I had if figured out, it switched up again!
Very Good! It was hard to put down!
The characters in this book are great! Strong females, strong friendships, and strong families -a single dad who puts his son before everyone. The story is unpredictable and entertaining.
Suspense and romance make this book a great read!
Enjoyed reading. Was very interesting.
I’ve never read a book by this author but it was really good and held my interest from beginning to end. I’d like to read more of her books
Very entertaining read with realistic characters and location. I loved it so much i could not put it down.
Unique storyline that does explain what motivates characters. It did, however tend to drag a bit in the middle and was a predictable ending.
