Praise for NOTHING MORE TO LOSE:
“I was profoundly moved by this book in a way that I haven’t often been moved by a romance novel. It speaks of redemption, forgiveness and the transcendent healing power of love. I know that I will be reading this one again. All About Romance
“Once in a while a book grabs you so much that you can’t think of anything else. You want to finish it because it’s so good, yet if you do the characters will be out of your life. This book is an amazing story for anyone who has been touched by the 9/11 tragedy and how life is too precious to waste.” Christine Pearson

Anything by Katherine Shay is a good read!
I love her books about firefighters. They are realistic and interesting, as well as romantic. Excellent reads.
I listened to the audio version of this book. It was an 11.5 hour investment. The narrator was decent. The characters were easily distinguishable. I thought the story about two alpha males having to overcome different types and levels of life altering situations was good.
The stalker in the book was pretty obvious. the mystery wasn’t really a mystery, it went on way too long. The twist that occurred with Ian, Rick, and David wasn’t.
I didn’t understand the attitude of the Divinity students, Sam, Faith’s so called fiance, and Peter, her brother. I think they need to find new professions. They were pretty unpleasant and definitely not behaving with Christian charity.
I’m not even sure what to say about the female leads in the book. I wouldn’t exactly say they were doormats, but they took too much crap off of the male leads. Male leads that I found to be rather harsh in convincing the women they loved that they as men, they had too many issues to be worthy partners for them.
The back and forth between the couples went on too long, to the point of becoming tiresome. I was so glad when Ian finally accepted how he felt.
This story had wonderful characters and really drew me in. I wanted to keep reading and not put it down. This book is part of a series but can be read independently.
Terrific
This was another wonderful story about Hidden Cove. I love how each story carries over people from each of the books and show what each of them go through for happiness
This book held my interest start to finish. The plot was actually 2 romances in one. Ian and Lisel as well as Rick and Faith’s stories were interwoven into an original story line. Beautifully written.
I really enjoy her books. They keep me reading instead of putting down.
Great author! I red all of her Seal series!
Excellent
A good book showing just how someone can work hard to get back and overcome a terrible injury with a special lady to share life.
Love!
A real page turner
I really enjoyed reading this book!
Good story, but it took a bit for it to take off and keep my attention. Characters were well formed and the story was slow to begin but in the end it was worth the read.
I loved this book, it speaks to hope, forgiveness, and love. It reminds us all that tragedies happen, but we must move forward with our lives as there can be a redemption and happiness waiting for you once you do.
Very strong, well developed characters. Very realistic in dealing with the aftermath of a significant crisis and PTSD, as well as, persons with disabilities transitioning back into the workforce.
Excellent book, great read!
I love the book !
It was a book that I just wanted to stay awake until I finished it. The story line keep me guessing what was to happen next. Loved it!
What a wonderful story line and characters. Never give up is what it all comes down to. Absolutely could not put this book down.
