#1 BEST SELLER IN HUMOROUS FICTION!
Gemma Summers is unlucky in love.
She’s known it since third grade, when her first crush blew a spitball into her hair, and a decade-long string of bad dates, boring sex, and abysmal morning-afters has done nothing to improve her prospects.
But when a random radio call-in contest lands her courtside tickets to the hottest playoff game of the season, Gemma’s … playoff game of the season, Gemma’s luck may finally be on the upswing — even if it doesn’t exactly seem like it when the dreaded jumbotron kiss-cam lands on her and her date, who’s too busy ignoring her to notice…
Chase Croft doesn’t date.
Despite ample opportunity as Boston’s most eligible bachelor, the reformed bad-boy would rather put his energy into taking over the family business than weed through a world of gold-diggers to find an honest woman.
But when the beautiful girl in the seat next to him becomes a courtside spectacle at the hands of her loser boyfriend, he can’t help but step in and save the day.
One kiss. Two strangers. No strings attached.
The only problem is, Chase is used to getting whatever he wants. And after kissing Gemma once, he knows one thing…
He wants more.
NOT YOU IT’S ME is a full-length, standalone contemporary romance about a girl who doesn’t believe in love… and the man who changes her mind. Due to sexy-times and strong language, it is intended for readers 17 and up.

I picked this one up on a whim and devoured it. I loved everything about the story and the characters. They were likable and everything I like in my romances. Highly recommend!
Half way though this book I went to Barnes and Noble and bought all her books! I’m still in Julie Johnson world.
This book has anything you’d want. Hilarious dialogues between three best friends on Gemma’s side, a disfunctional family – on Chase’s side and one thing that starts an adventurous journey of Chase and Gemma falling for each other. A kiss-cam kiss at a basketball-game Gemma won tickets for. A very great story to start an awesome new series.
Love this whole series by Julie Johnson! If there was a fifth book, I’d purchase it as well asap. This book and the rest of the series made me laugh, cry, cringe, sigh, sweat, and everything in between. Can’t say enough…
It was a surprise book! A really good one, I wanted some romance and fun and got a lot of that! I laugh a lot readind it! The book is fast paced with a lot of surprises, when you think you know what will happen it not happen at all e you got surprised with the creatividy of the author!
Great beginning to a supper series. Gemma is so sweet and Chase is a strong male that needs some sweetness in his life.
It was a fun adventurous read with a sassy and likable main character. The love interest was horrid. He was too much of an “alpha male” – protective but way too controlling and bossy.
Loved this book!
This book made me laugh, loved it
I liked the book, but it just missed the mark for me. It had huge potential and parts were fantastic, but overall, just a little blagh.
Liked the book entertaining characters. This is a romance with drama.
thouroughly enjoyed this book had chuckles and awe, but loved it
This was my first book by this author and definitely will be reading more. Loved it!!!
Sweet short read
Characters too young, not very compelling
Great story
When the “kiss cam” at a sporting event prods strangers to kiss and leads to is a fun trope many authors have explored. I’ve been enjoying the different ways authors use the idea. So I was excited to find Not You It’s Me free recently.
I don’t understand why Not You It’s Me is described as humorous romance because it is NOT funny. Not even a little. It’s drama. In this I was badly disappointed. Between the quarantine from C-19, the collapsing economy, the current political crisis, and an impending death in my family, I am rather desperately in need of something cheerful.
The book is exciting and entertaining, so that’s something. And it was free. I liked some of the minor characters.
The hero isn’t very likeable. He’s secretive, domineering, and autocratic. The reader has to just accept the heroine loves him, because his only positive attributes are wealth and sex appeal.
I do hope to read the next volume in the series soon. I’m very interested in finding out what happens to the other characters.
I got Not You It’s Me free. I will be waiting for other books in the series to be marked down, as they are extremely overpriced at the present time.
Liked the characters and the story line….well enough to order rest of series
This book has it all. The main characters held you attention but then secondary characters took on a life of their own. If that was not good enough, you then had various cameos roles whichever developed into their own little dramas as the book progressed. This is a book that you will not want to put down. One of a few that I will happily look forward to reading again in the future.
Loved it
