The story Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent is a contemporary/new adult romance book. It is a story that will pull you in from the beginning and won’t let you go until you have finished the final page. It is a story that is entertaining, romantic, and have you glued to the pages. I loved reading about the characters of Melanie Parker and Spencer Colebank. Melanie is a wonderful singer. She is strong, intelligent, and independent. She finds herself having to end chasing her dream as her family needs her. Then she meets Spencer. Spencer is a man who works in the family business however music is part of his soul. He finds himself with an attraction to Melanie that keeps growing stronger. She has the voice of an angel. He has a secret that he guards. Will Melanie trust Spencer with her heart? Can Spencer tempt her to stay? Will Spencer’s secret tear them apart? What does the future hold for Melanie and Spencer? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down. I have been really looking forward to reading the second book in this series as I was especially excited to read Melanie and Spencer’s story! And as expected I was not disappointed at all! I fell in love with the two main characters straight away. There was just something about them both that drew me in straight away – Melanie was a strong, independent woman and Spencer – well he was just so hot I fell in love with him as soon as I met him – but as well as that there was a slight vulnerability about him that I really liked. There was just something so special about the two of them that together they just seemed to work, they both had their own secrets to deal with and I just knew that together they would be able to help each other out.
The author has written a really beautiful tale, the pace and flow of the story is excellent and my interest was kept from beginning to end. I absolutely loved Not So Wrong and I cannot wait to read more from Ms Regent again in the future!
This contemporary romance hit all the right notes for me. Melanie and Spencer were fantastic main characters to watch/follow. I dove right into the story and found myself on the last page before I was ready to let go. This book moved well and was full of emotion, romance, drama. You name it – this book had it. One of the better contemporary romances I’ve had the privilege of reading this year. Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to reading more from Regent.
This is the second book in this series. I loved this book as much as the first one. This author writes with feeling. Her characters are well developed and pull you into the story right from the beginning. They made me feel as if I was part of the story. Melanie is a singer who has given up hopes of making it until Spencer comes into her life. Will he tempt her to stay and not leave? Could one song change everything? I loved their relationship and their chemistry. Their story is a must read.
Not So Wrong was a great 5 star read and book two in the Love Grows series.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. Spencer and Melanie were great and I loved their story.
Spencer is a billionaire who has secrets and is looking for someone to spend his time with. Melanie has been trying to get her music career off the ground but she is to the point of giving up. When these two meet they click instantly.
Spencer writes music and Melanie likes to sing, when these two decide to collaborate and make music together they are hoping that they will get noticed.
Spencer has finally found what he was looking for in a woman. Melanie was the one. When Melanie has to go back home to help care for her family, will it change things for them? Will Spencer’s past ruin things for them? Can these two get the HEA?
This is such a great romance and series. Renee Regent pulls you right in with her writing. I can’t wait to read more from this series. 1-click and get started today.
Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) By Renee Regent. This author does a wonderful job of writing a story that completely hooked me from start to finish. I have a tendency to have a hard time reading about different characters in a series but I really enjoyed these characters just as much as book one maybe even a little bit more but shh don’t tell them. These two characters had me completely drawn into their world. My emotions were a bit all over the place in all the right ways. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The author just has a way of capturing your heart and clinging onto it for good. I highly recommend reading this story and book one if you haven’t. Five of the brightest stars I can possibly give.
Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent
5-Stars
Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent was an excellent Romance. I had a lot of fun reading this novel. Spencer and Melanie were two extremely talented and creative individuals. Their musical abilities had me full of envy. I really enjoyed following these two as their story progressed. Regent did an amazing job on their development.
This is the first book I have read in this series and will say that it can be read as a standalone. I felt the author provides enough detail to prevent readers from getting confused if they haven’t read the first book in the series. I do plan on eventually reading book one since this one was addicting. I highly recommend it!
Not So Wrong is the second book in the Love Grows Series and the second book by this author for me. This story doesn’t need to be read in order but you will want to read book one at some time.
Spencer and Melanie are our unlikely couple looking for something more in life. Both hiding their true selves from the world. Hiding their fears and their pain. Spencer is a billionaire, so really what kind of problems could he have, right? Not everything is as it seems. Melanie has no money and comes from an even poorer family. Her problems have problems. Both of their problems and pasts, while different, cause them pain and influence their life choices.
“I had only wanted to show her pain came to all types of people in many forms and for infinite reasons.”
This story pulls at the heart strings, not enough for an ugly cry but just enough to make the adventure so worth it.
Highly recommend this story.
Not So Wrong is Book #2 in this series. This book was just as brilliant as the first if not better. I was captivated with this reading from the get-go until the very end, this author has created a world that immerses you in the characters and their journey and the incredible storyline. Renee Regent has created a book that makes you feel as though you a part of a story and the characters lives, I loved watching Melanie and Spencer relationship, chemistry and connection grow and seeing their journey progress.
I can’t wait to see what else this author brings to this series and also who’s story we will get next. Well, Done Ms Regent I can’t wait to read more from you!
Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent. I loved the first book in this series so I was super excited to read this book. It did not let me down. It’s an amazing story about Spencer Colebank who works for his family business and is a billionaire. He’s also has ghosts in his past he’s trying to run from. Melanie Parker is an amazing singer who is beautiful, strong, independent and is about to give up on her dream of being a famous singer because her family needs her. The only thing in common Spencer and Melanie have in common is music and he’s trying to convince her to stay in Atlanta because of the song they wrote together might actually become a record. As they work together they become more and more attracted to each other and sparks fly. Will their song make Melanie a star and will she and Spencer have more than a song between them. Read Not So Wrong to find out!
Not So Wrong by Renee Regent is the second book in the Love Grows series.
This is Spencer and Melanie’s story and it was worth every minute I spent reading it. Though there were a few times I wanted to pop Spencer for being an idiot.
Melanie has the weight of her family resting on her shoulders. She has a Mom, sister, a niece and two nephews depending on her and she feels so torn about everything.
Spencer has a problem with looking bad in anyone’s eyes. He will do everything he can to be the hero. It seemed like that continued to blow up in his face.
I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
NOT SO WRONG is Book 2 in the “Love Grows” Series and can be read as a stand-alone.
This is a well written story about following your dream because life isn’t always “sunshine and rainbows. Money helps tremendously, but it doesn’t solve everything .”
This story has a plotline that flows perfectly with a little angst, family of choice vs family of origin, romance and redemption.
I absolutely recommend this story.
I liked this because it’s about an mid-age couple. Something that you don’t see every day. They are living their life and one chance meeting will alter the course. I loved the idea of Spencer writing music. I can’t even imagine the talent it takes so this always impresses me. I hope the career takes off for him as it seems he has been doing it a while. Singing is great as well (something I only do in my car or alone). I can’t imagine putting myself out there for many years over and over. Melanie seems to have the singing career but is struggling to make that last step. They are both wanting to follow a dream.
This is the second book in this series. It can easily be read as a stand alone. This is my second book by this author. She does a good job on making the characters well rounded and get better as the story moves forward. It was nice to see characters from the first book.
Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent is a beautiful romance story about two people on the opposite sides of reality and the most unlikely couple to fall in love. But when you make music and have such a passion for something you love then they make their own music. Renee has written a wonderful story that you cannot stop reading until you have finished the whole book.
Spencer is a billionaire who has secrets, ones he doesn’t want anyone to know, ones that could destroy him but when he meets a woman with the voice of an angel he longs for more than he ever has before.
Melanie has longed for the love of her life to become a reality but after so long being in pursuit of her dreams, she is about to give. However, when she meets a kindred soul she must choice between the family that needs her and the man with a passion to match her own.
I fell in love with the characters and know you will too. I am looking forward to what comes next.
Not So Wrong (Love Grows series, Book 2) by Renee Regent
5 out of 5 stars
The story Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent is a contemporary/new adult romance book and it’s the second book that I have read by this author. The characters are well written and amazing and the things that they had to deal with in this story made them feel real. The plot was awesome.
What happens when a billionaire who can’t face his past and an independent woman who has given up on her future meet? They have nothing in common except music so what can they offer each other? Will the perfect song give them a future, or tear them apart?
Melanie after years of trying to make it as a singer, it’s time to stop chasing a dream that won’t come true. Her family needs her, and soon she’ll be leaving Atlanta for good. But Spencer Colebank is tempting her to stay, with hope the song they wrote together will win us a record deal.
Spencer thinks Melanie Parker, sings like an angel gone bad, has taken his heart. His family’s business expectations have always taken priority, but writing their song together has inspired him to stop hiding his musical talent and show the world who he really is.
But his past mistakes have come back to haunt him, and honoring the promise he can’t break means risking everything they’ve built together.
Spencer has made Melanie believe again but can she trust him? Melanie has given Spencer his spark back that he thought he lost forever. Can she forgive him or will she walk away from him for good?
I highly recommend this story/series and can’t wait to see what Ms. Regent has in-store for us next.

When Spencer Colebank meets Melanie Parker at a party sparks fly and the billionaire is hooked. In book 2 of the Love Grows series, Not So Wrong, by author Renee Regent these two special characters are hiding behind masks and are afraid what would happen if others knew their real selves. Melanie is a singer who may have to give up her dream and Spencer is hiding his dreams in order to make his family happy.
This was an interesting story and I truly felt for the characters. Both were hiding and you had to root for them to achieve their dreams, no matter what. I look forward to seeing what is going to happen next in this series.

Not So Wrong is the second book in the Love Grows series by Renee Regent. This contemporary romance is a great story with a wonderful emotive quality to the storyline. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, so I was excited to dive into this second book. I wasn’t sure I would like it as much as the first book, but I needn’t have worried- as Ms. Regent exceeded all my expectations and I ended up loving it just as much as Book one, if not a little more.
Melanie and Spencer make beautiful music together- and they were so easy to like and emotionally invest in. Spencer is Gibson Colebank’s brother- from Not So Broken- Book #1. He’s also a billionaire with baggage and secrets. She’s struggling to ‘make it’ on the music scene and is about to give up on her dreams. What happens when they unite and write music together? A sweet, sexy, and romantic story that’s definitely worth your time and money- so grab yourself a copy and discover all the intriguing details for yourself!
A wonderful addition to the series and I can’t wait to read Ms. Regent’s next book!
Thank you, Ms. Regent!
Not So Wrong is the 2nd book in the Love Grows series by Renee Regent. It can be read as a stand-alone, even though Gibson and Sacha from the first book, Not So Broken are also in this book. In this second book Spencer is the cousin of Gibson and Melanie is Sacha’s best friend so it was an added bonus catching up with this couple again.
Like the first book, our hero and heroine are a very unlikely partnership. Spencer is a billionaire whereas Melanie grew up in a trailer park. What brings them together is music. Melanie is a fantastic singer/songwriter whereas Spencer has secretly been composing music for years. Having met at a family party, they discover this connection.
I have to say that I loved both of these characters. Melanie has had such a hard life so far. Her passion for music is what keeps her going. Spencer is an extremely likeable character, who also happens to be drop dead gorgeous. I was very intrigued as to why he and Spencer did not get on. What was the secret that Spencer was holding onto?
The story is action packed and fast paced, so it keeps you gripped from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope that this series will continue.

Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent is the second book in the Love Grows Series and a book that I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. Spencer and Melanie , he’s a billionaire with secrets and she’s about to give up on her dream. She’s a wonderful singer about to put her chasing her dream on hold to as her family needs her, She’s a strong independent woman. These two meet and there is definitely attraction between them. Can she trust him with her heart? Will his secret tear them apart ? Do they have a chance at a future together? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I recommend reading not just this book but the first Book in this series if you haven’t already.
I really couldn’t wait to get my hands on Not so Wrong. This is book two in the Love Grows series from Renee Regent, and I fell in love with this series and author in book one. They are written as of now where you could read them as stand alones or out of order. However, you do get to meet the main characters for Not so Wrong briefly in book one. Either way, both are fab and your won’t want to miss out on either of them.
I truly loved reading Melanie and Spencer’s story. These two captured my heart fairly quickly and I was consumed with them from beginning to end, well past my bedtime. I truly think the only negative for this story for me was that it ended. I loved the music theme with this. Melanie and Spencer both have a love for music in common. Spencer writes and composes music and Melanie loves to sing. The music that is possible to be made when these two come together is beautiful and ever present in the writing. I was captivated and could almost feel as if I was there watching these two in person. I absolutely cannot wait to see what will come next in this series!!
