My name’s Mallory F’Cent, and I’m always horny. No, get your mind out of the gutter. Not THAT kind of horny. I’m talking about the horns on my head. It doesn’t matter how I try to disguise them with updo’s and headscarves; they’re two permanent, pointy reminders of my parentage – a feisty Fairy Godmother for a mom, and a towering ogre with poor impulse control for a dad.I can’t help stand out even … dad.
I can’t help stand out even as I try desperately to blend in.
And now I’ve gone and turned into a Big Bad.
My heart is in tatters, and I’ve turned the man I love from sexy stud into a sad sack.
And the worst part?
Despite everything I’ve done to him, Stefan’s still willing to fight to find our Happy Ever After and he’s determined to prove there’s a halo held up by my horns!

I was granted an ARC of Billie Dale’s “Not So Wicked (A Fairytale Fantasy Book 2)” via Booksprout; I’m gladly recommending it based upon its own merits. I enjoyed this book as this story is on par, & I’ll look forward to more opportunities to read Billie’s work in the future. Until next time… Happy Reading!
This book has a good storyline that is compelling, entertaining, and interesting. The characters are intriguing, engaging, and well developed. I liked reading this book.
This book was wicked! I loved it and I loved that I found a new author to stalk! It can be hard to read some paranormal/fairytale type books if the words don’t flow right, but this author definitely knows what she’s doing and I was fully entertained throughout this book. Really, I was cracking up during most of this book. I mean come on…Mal’s mom, though a little overbearing at times, was freakin hilarious. Her first time meeting Stefan, I was cringing and laughing so hard. Ouch! Poor guy! And Letty, she was pretty awesome too! I loved the hot yoga scene and Letty’s “gas bandit” comment had me rolling all over again. Too funny! There were so many hilarious scenes, aka the wax scene. Oy Vey!
I haven’t read book one of this series, but after reading this, I’ll definitely be going back to it. The characters in this are awesome. I love me a good fairytale re-telling. The names they were given and the way the author melded together pieces of different fairytales was so creative and fun. I’ve read a lot of dark re-telling’s of fairytales, but this one was just fun! I loved it, and I loved the eighties things thrown in there, because who doesn’t love the eighties? Besides my husband…yea I know…WHAT?!!
Anywaaaays…it’s apparent I’m a fan of this book and this author. Really fun, light re-telling of a fairytale and though I thoroughly loved Mal and Stefan, I really did love all the side character’s as well. They definitely rounded everything out. I was happy when Mal started seeing herself through other peoples eyes and realized she’s beautiful inside and out, horns and all. And I love that I got my HEA, because poor Stefan certainly deserved it after his penile mishap! So wrong, but kind of funny after the fact. Love that tatted up man to pieces. If you’re a fan of fairytales, steamy hot scenes and laughing your you know what off, snatch up this book. I devoured this book in practically one sitting and wasn’t even upset that I didn’t clean the house like I was supposed to be doing! I need Cindy to come help me out now. Looking forward to reading more from this author, especially when I need a pick me up!

Oh my what a fantastic story. This is my first book by Billie Dale and call me impressed. The writing is amazing with the flow of the story beautifully written. I loved Mal and Stefan together. They have this super hot chemistry with extremely beautifully realistic relationship. At times this story had me laughing and at times I felt sorry for our beloved characters. I love the twists on the fairy tales and this one was fabulous. We have modern day fairytale characters with twists that just draws you in. Yes this is the second book in the series but very much able to read as a standalone without getting lost. Now I I just have to read the first book. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

Not So Wicked is a quick fun read. It’s a great adult take on some of the fairy tale characters. Mallory is a fun character. She sweet and a little shy. She;s the daughter of an ogre and a fairy and has horns on her head that she hides most of the time. She had me laughing quiet a bit. Stefan is the new guy in town. He’s super sexy. Mallory literally bumps into him and there’s a connection. Stefan is nice and has a little bit of a bad boy vibe. They are both keeping secrets from each other. Mallory is not one that you want to anger. Overall this one is a pretty good read.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Steffan and Mallory. Mallory is the daughter of a fairy godmother and an ogre and she is currently the guidance counselor at a local high school along with her best friend is Ursulette Aka Letty. Mallory tries to hide and be invisible since she had tell horns on the top of her head, which she was teased about when she was younger. Letty and Mal or headed to a orientation for the first day of school, they stopped at a local coffee shop and they try to pay with a card but having problems. Steffan happens to be behind them and feel sorry for them so he offers to pay. He can’t get over Mal’s Allure. The girls scurry away and head to the school imagine both of their surprise when my trips and none other than Steffan catches her again. Unfortunately she manages the best him in the chin and a few other places causing him to sit on the ground laugh like crazy. There’s an instant chemistry between the two Mal is afraid. Mallory is hiding her horns from him and he is hiding a secret from her they may ultimately hurt them both literally. Definitely recommend this read, it’s easy it’s fun and it’s got great characters that we all know. Love the twist that happens with characters from our past but still new and fun.

This was my first time reading Billie Dale and I got the biggest kick from this book! I will say that in the beginning, it was hard for me to reset the mental images I had for some of the characters from the animated movies I’ve watched into the human-ish characters who are indulging in adult sexy times lol. I liked the twist each character was given, and it was still easy to see some resemblance of the characters in the story against the characters we grew up with.
For the most part, Mallory does what she can to try and be invisible; she’s already a bit self-conscious about her height, she’s super self-conscious about her horns; of course it doesn’t help that she works with the same people who bullied her when they were younger. Add to that the shirts her mom wears and it’s no wonder Mallory and it’s no wonder she doesn’t like to draw attention to herself. Too bad that didn’t work the day she met Stefan.
Stefan is somewhat of a mystery since he doesn’t talk about his past or his family, and there’s his second job he doesn’t talk about, but there is a reason why he’s not exactly forthcoming about that one aspect of his life. I like that he’s pretty much straight forward about his feelings for Mallory, although his reluctance to talk about certain aspects of his life lead to a maelstrom of emotions on Mallory’s part that seem to have dire consequences for both of them.
This is a wonderful book to read. This is the first time I have read this author and I will continue to read this author. This book had a combination of humor, drama and sexiness. I am glad I read this story even though it is not my normal type of read.

A sweetly erotic fairytale romance filled with many recognizable characters from some well loved fairytales. Mallory and Stefan fall in love and everything is going so well, but her insecurities and his hidden secrets bring heartache and an awful tragedy. Can love find its way to fixing this? I was faintly surprised at how much I loved this story.

Oh My! This is the first book by Ms. Dale that I have read and I only have one question…how have I missed her books? I am a huge fan of adult fairy tale retellings. This one had me laughing, tearing up and continuously turning the page. I loved the characters and the entire story-line. Mallory was so easy too relate to with her self-image issues. Although, having a fairy godmother and an ogre for parents and knowing lots of tequila were involved in your conception would give anyone a complex. I can’t wait to go back and read book one and I so hope there are lots more planned in this series.

What a fun read! It’s well written, has strong likable characters, flows quickly and smoothly and was a joy to read. It’s a laugh out loud, hilarious take on an old fairy tale and I loved reading it. If you need a good laugh, this book is for you!

This is a fantastical fairytale retelling.
Mally F’cent is a shy a and retiring high school guidance counsellor working and living in a make believe town where all our most favourite fairytale charachters have everyday mundane jobs.
After literally bumping into the sexy new history teacher, Stefan Knight.. Malloy makes a gamble with her heart and embarks in a relationship with him.
Both are holding on to secrets and not being 100 percent truthful with the other but when a meddling heart broken best friend interfears Mally ends up heart broken and curses the love of her life.
Those magic words… fairytale retelling.. is literally heaven to my childhood fairytale now ‘somewhat’ grown up book loving heart. The fact that this focused on Malificent, made me even happier because #EvenVillansDeserveLove…
A true rom com filled with true laugh out loud moments, witty banter and hawt hawt chemistry. An absolutely brilliant way to spend an afternoon curled up in it pages.
I cannot wait to see more in this series and more from this author.
This was such a fun read and I just loved it. I liked the mix between fun and sexy I like a good adult fairy tale and this was definitely a new take on that I don’t think I will ever look at Disney characters the same way again. This is a really good book and I am looking forward to reading more from Billie.
Mallory is the offspring of a fairy godmother and an ogre. She is a guidance counselor at the local high school. Stefan is the new history teacher. He is enchanted by her and pursues her.
A sexy and fun twist on a fairytale world. Mallory’s best friend is Ursellette and is a great comic relief. Off the charts chemistry and a curse add to the story. Mallory is vulnerable yet is a strong character. Stefan is hot and alpha yet sweet. Super enjoyable, fun read!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of the book.
Billie Dale is AMAZING!! She combines all of the Fairy Tales and gives them such a unique twist It’s almost impossible to put the book down! Who knew being the daughter of Shrek and The Fairy Godmother would leave a girl in such a Horny disposition!! Bring on the next book!!
Hilarious Fractured Fairytale!
A fun and sexy retelling of a combination of fairytales. I loved the quirky, heartwarming characters and unique storyline twists. A nice HEA ending. Enjoy!
