Bored senseless in a meeting, Jon McNeill amuses himself with a kinky dating app on his phone. Then the app matches him with another user…who’s six feet away. Suddenly Jon finds himself on the same page as someone who’s way above his pay grade: Millionaire property developer Rick Pierce. The app isn’t kidding, either. They’re a perfect match. Jon’s a Dom, Rick’s a sub, and they both love bondage. … love bondage. Both guys are well into their forties, know their way around the bedroom, and definitely appreciate a good suit. And the best part? They’re a match outside the bedroom too.
But office relationships aren’t easy to keep a secret. When the truth comes out, Jon is certain he’s about to get fired. Instead, he finds himself tangled up in a much bigger mess.
Contains two men who’ve only dreamed of this kind of sex, literal and figurative sex machines, blindfolds, a sub being punished during a business meeting, enough rope to tangle up a millionaire, and a Golden Girls marathon.

Though the book is well written, I didn’t find it a believable story line. The Dom/Sub relationship was too easy and both characters fell into insta love though they didn’t speak the words. I actually found the secondary characters more likable and enjoyed their interaction with the MC. I’ll try the author again but I could only give this one a 3.
This book is sweet, sexy and so much fun. For such a big book, I drank it in really quickly as the storyline pulled me in and I really had to get back to it whenever I had the chance. I listened to Nick Russo’s fantastic Audio and he did a brilliant job portraying Jon and Rick – as well as the other characters that lifts this book to another level.
This book is almost the perfect workplace romance read – with some serious tension and kinky elements that make for a flavourful story that I’m sure will become a favourite re-read.
Not Safe For Work is really NSFW. It’s an M/M romance also classified as BDSM. And technically, I suppose it is. But it’s extremely vanilla. The Dom in the story talks a lot, but what is depicted is mostly gentle dominance and submission and sweet sweet lovin’. It’s still a great story though, which I really enjoyed reading, but if you’re looking for actual BDSM, you better keep looking.
I can’t say I’m particularly fond of hardcore BDSM stories. So Not Safe For Work was actually perfect in that sense. But what mainly drew me in and kept me captivated was the very sweet way that Jon’s and Rick’s budding relationship was described. Sure, there’s the Dom-Sub dynamics, but there’s only mild dominance and light bondage. Pain isn’t really a factor and there’s thankfully no degradation. Only mutual attraction and respect. And two men falling for each other. While they also have lots and lots of s*x. Hot s*x.
The story is told exclusive from Jon’s viewpoint. Which is a bit of a shame since I would have loved to see Rick’s side of things too. The progression of the story and the eventual fall-out from their relationship being outed at work would probably haven’t been as nerve-wrecking with dual POVs though, so it’s all good. And it did get nerve-wrecking. I even had to put my Kindle down a few times to calm myself before I could go on.
Anyway. To summarize. Not Safe For Work is a very well-written story. There’s plenty of shagging and some hot dominance play, but mostly it’s a beautiful love story with a HEA in the end. Another plus was that the MCs are more mature. As in, not in their twenties. Both are a bit over forty, more grounded and real in that sense. I absolutely recommend this read if you like d*ck, men and love.

Jon is a model maker and his job is going the way of computers so its hard to find work in his field. His company was faltering until Rick’s company hired them for all their work.
in a boring meeting, Jon logged onto his fetish hookup account to find someone to play with when it pinged that a match was in the room with him and online as well. I thought this was very funny and cool at the same time. I’ve been in those long boring meetings and could just imagine these men peeking at their phones and the shock on their faces that someone else in that room shared the same kinks.
I liked both characters but their backgrounds stayed too much in the background especially Rick’s we really never got much on him. I found it strange that Jon still lived with his ex-wife as a roommate but also liked that too.
there is a lot of sex in the book. A lot so it is definitely not Safe for Work or public LOL
I loved Nick J Russ’s narration. He has a sexy voice and the pacing is great. He puts lots of emotion such as sighs, moans, groans and other actions that make the book more three dimensional.
If you like older more mature men, real life, some kink, Ds, office affairs and an allover good romance you will like this. I suggest the audio.
So well written!
