Another great cozy mystery in the long line of cozy Mysteries that Wendy Williams writes. Her style of writing is awesome and I love it. You have to pick up one or all of her books.
Received this ARC and am leaving an honest review.
This family-friendly adventure can be read in less than a day and sees Mama Peach and Michelle venture to Australia in response to a plea for help from Patrick.

Momma Peach and Michelle are back, this time in Australia. Their trip to help out a friend goes rapidly and bizarrely wrong. This is a strange cozy murder/mystery. It is much darker than the usual Momma Peach books with weird people, a strange town and more than enough snakes, scorpions etc as well as threat of dying. It certainly makes you want to never visit Australia! Having said all that the trademark humour still prevails and the ending is great. Definitely weird but strangely enjoyable.

This is the ninth book in the Sweet Peach Bakery Cozy Mystery Series. When Momma Peach is asked to come to Australia by her friend Patrick Walker, she and Michelle Chan travel there to see what Patrick needs. On their way to Greenglow in a distant area of Australia, their rental car breaks down in the middle of no where. They are picked up in an old truck by Mitch Taylor. Mitch dumps them out in front of a dilapidated old garage and tells Evan to take them to Patrick’s. Upon their arrival at Patrick’s they find him dead from a gunshot wound to the back. Fearful Evan’s dune buggy will not make it to find the police, they are going to use Patrick’s truck. Opening the door they find a deadly scorpion on the seat staring at them. The battery cables have been cut and the battery is missing. They hop back in the dune buggy and head back to Evan’s garage. When they arrive Mitch Taylor pulls up in his truck, steps out and falls to the ground dead from a bite by a deadly adder snake.
Someone then shoots out the tires on the dune buggy leaving them with no transportation at all.
The story becomes a complicated tale of water and land rights with many players involved.
This is a wonderful story of mystery and intrigue. When the end seems near for Evan, Momma Peach and Michelle, there is an unusual twist to the story.
A must read for those who enjoy cozy mysteries.
We find Momma Peach and Michelle in Aussie after getting a call from Patty a friend Momma Peach got close to when he was in her town years ago. From there they are thrown into a murder mystery where you can not trust anyone, people keep turning up dead and the creatures that lurk in the outback leave both Momma Peach and Michelle wanting to get on a plane an back home! There are so many twists this is like a game of chess not knowing who will make the next move and how will it impact everyone, and the ending though with who turns up to town is great!!!

OMG! I think that this book has been the most exciting, action packed book in the series so far. Mama Peach and Michelle travel travel to Australia for unknown reasons. From the very beginning of the book to the very end, you will not want to put the book down. If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I was actually worried about Mama Peach and Michelle until the very end.

Australia may be a wonderful place to visit but not to be stuck out in a ghost town with a murderer. This is another awesomely peachy mystery that has really wonderful characters and action to keep you turning the pages.

Mama Peach and Michelle visit Australia to see an old friend. Patty was visiting extended family and working in the US when he wandered into her bakery, and became part of her family.
A wild and wacky series of mysteries is revealed in the Outback, including a tribe of young women wanting a Momma and babies.
Really twisted, and a new partner for Grace shows herself in the land down under.
Butt kicking bizarre battles!

When it comes to cozies I am not sure if Ms. Meadows or Ms. Loren is my favorite but I think it is a tie. In this cozy Momma and Michelle travel to visit a friend, but find that he was murder. Never fear Momma Peach is on the case! I love the characters, the storyline and most of all the writing this was a marvelous cozy. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

When Momma and Michelle go to Australia to help out Momma’s friend, little did they know they would be up against ‘unseen’ forces. Things get mighty strange in this story. But can they get out of it alive? The forces are working against them, and so are the Australian varmtits. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book from Booksprout.
Love the “Yes ma’am and no ma’am” saying. There are cute ‘southern’ sayings too. Every time i thought I had the who done it, it would change. Surprises await in this book.
Fast easy to read in one day cozy mystery. Book can be read by itself and not be lost if starting here. I did it.
Guessing that Momma Peach likes to use her pocketpurse (pocketbook or those not my niece when little) to hit people but n this book it seems to be in her luggage the whole trip. Most of the time I was able to follow Momma’s logic for her conclusions but there was one that I could not.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
Momma Peach and Michelle are in Australia to assist Momma’s friend Patrick. But from the moment they land in the land down under, things go from bad to worse. First, they are stranded when their rental car decides to die on the way to their destination. They are picked up by a mysterious stranger who drops them off at a gas station in an abandoned town. They finally manage to get to Patrick’s home, but discover him dead and have no idea why they were summoned to the Australian outback.
This book is filled with lots of madcap adventure, mystery, and suspense as Momma Peach and Michelle find themselves involved in dangerous peril. Can they get out of Australia or will they find themselves a tasty snack for poisonous snakes and deadly scorpions?
