Okay, I liked this story but at the same time I wish Milita gave her virginity to Liam instead of Jack after she left the school. I think she would have enjoyed herself more better. Jack isn’t a Dom either, he is a scared little boy inside who needs a major head check. Milita is a very smart young woman but very naive, Jack is a little boy in a man’s body, and dam Liam is a hot man who knows what he wants and I want more of Liam and Milita’s story please.

All Melita has known in her life if that her family being joined with Jack’s family through her marriage to him is what is expected of her. She doesn’t want this at all, but she has to do this for the family’s sake. She is having to leave her very best friend Liam and move on. Once she arrives at Jack’s family’s house things are not what they seem.
Jack knows that his likes and wants are darker than most, but that is not going to be an issue. However, finding out that Melita is pure, now he is a bit thrown off. He pays for her to attend a seminar/class to train her to be what he needs and wants her to be. What Jack was not understanding is that Melita really wants no part of that training.
She and Jack are entering this relationship strictly as an arranged marriage, one to make their families more powerful. Then Melita arrives at Jack’s family’s house and things start off shaky but okay. Jack spends alone time with Melita, and Melita spends a lot of time with his family. She really is growing fond of Jack. Then he tells her that he has darker needs and she will need to train for them. Put off by this, but having no choice, she attends this class/seminar Jack paid for her to go to. Once there she is disgusted and calls her friend Liam to come take her away from this. He comes to the rescue, Liam always has and always will.
Jack finds out she left and has no idea where Melita has gone, until she calls him. She is brought back home, to Jack’s place. They talk and discuss things, and it comes down to if Jack wants Melita to learn these things, than HE will be the one to teach them to her. A compromise that seems to work out at first for them. Then Jack starts “teaching” and things are shaky but working out somewhat.
Liam shows up at Jack’s family’s place, unannounced and feelings between him and Melita surface. Jack is angry about this and forbids Melita to talk with him alone. Melita informs Jack that since Liam is her friend she will talk to him alone and remedy the situation, help Liam understand this is what she has to do. Liam meets Melita for dinner and drinks, they talk and go their own ways. Jack is at his home, waiting, becoming angrier. When Melita arrives, it is right away to the “teaching” room. Mel knows he is upset and asks him to talk to her, but Jack is angry and proceeds to show Mel that he is angry, she runs. Mel calls Liam, Jack tries to stop her, but what he did was inexcusable and unforgivable.
Liam picks Mel up and takes her back to the hotel he is staying at. Feelings running on the adrenaline fuel a mighty fire between these two, actually adds fuel to the flame that was really always there, only this time both Liam and Melita act on this. It was asked from Liam before but Mel had to turn him down, this time Liam asks again, and Melita is choosing to follow her heart, and not really thinking about what her family expects her to do. Her answer of yes starts their journey of happy ever after-ish. Somehow I do not feel that this is the ending of their journey but the beginning.
I found this story interesting. Was Jack really as innocent as he came across or was it all just a ploy? I didn’t understand why she would give in to Jack before marriage after waiting so long even under the circumstances especially with all the waffling thoughts she was having about the situation. Praise to Liam for being there for her regardless of what happened.
I would have liked a little more of an ending… Did they actually get married? What happened with everything at the end? I felt it just cut off. Although this is a standalone Novella, I would like to see more from this group in the future.
I was gifted an ARC in return of an honest review.
