It’s Eoin and Angie’s first Christmas together and he wants to make it special. But his dragoness is lacking holiday spirit and doesn’t want to anything to do with celebrating. Does Angie think Eoin is the type of dragon who could ignore her unhappiness? Clipping on his jingle bells and grabbing the mistletoe, Eoin is on a mission.
I love this entire series. So when I saw that there was a novella that took us back to where it all began (with Eoin and Angie) I was ecstatic. Eoin decides to make his and Angie’s first Xmas together special…the book is aptly named because it seems like if it can go wrong it will. the number of times he rallies and tries again proves just how much he loves Angie. Its sweet, funny, and a happily ever after twist involving eggs end it. A complete must read!
Not His Christmas (Not This Series, #4) Annie Nicholas – Eoin is determined to make Angie’s Christmas perfect. He fails rather spectacularly, but she’s got a surprise for him that might make up for it! Happy Reading!
For a proud and majestic dragon, Eoin gets into the most funniest situations. Trying to create the perfect Christmas for his new mate is a sweet gesture, but he obviously has not celebrated the holidays in a long time. Perfection is a high bar to meet when you haven’t even mastered the basics. I laughed when I realized that Erin trumped his efforts – and she wasn’t even trying!
If you’ve been enjoying this series so far (this is book 3.5 and is something of a short-story add on), you’ll love this little nugget. You really can’t enjoy this book without at least having read the first book, though the others are optional. This is a short and sweet novella about our main dragon couple, Eoin and Angie. Be ready for some feels and to love the harbinger of smoke and darkness that much more! Also: more kitty/Eoin time. Need I say more?
Eoin tries to bring the Christmas spirit to his and Angies home. Quite the surprise awaits them both. Loved it!
NOT HIS CHRISTMAS is the fourth book in the Not This series, a short Christmas story featuring Angie and Eion from NOT HIS DRAGON. This is not a stand-alone and you need to have read at least the first book in the series before reading this one.
I love Christmas romance stories, but even better when we are revisiting old friends.
The story is an entertaining, sweet, cute and short Christmas romance. The ending brings happy tears and smiles. In fact, I’m still smiling.
Eoin hasn’t celebrated Christmas in a long time, but he wants to give his mate a first Christmas together to remember. As an orphan, Angie approaches Christmas a time of sadness and self-pity… until she realizes she is no longer alone.
I want to know more about the castle Gargoyle. Though his part in this story was small, he was a hoot! In fact, there were many characters that I look forward to knowing better in future books.
Based on the few I have read (or listened to) so far, Annie Nichols writes wonderful humorous paranormal stories. I’ll be looking for more from her.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Not His Christmas by Annie Nicholas is a really short Christmas Novella that is part of the Not His series. There are Spoilers if you haven’t read the rest of the series. I loved this story! It’s a Christmas Story dragon style. I laughed so hard I thought I would pee on myself. I really had to stop once or twice just to catch my breath. Annie Nicholas gives us characters that are more human than humans! You can’t help but love Eoin and Angie. There’s a support cast that get their own stories (Ken, the werewolf, Viktor, the Vampire, Nick, the Gargoyle and it goes on), but you get a glimpse of them throughout the stories. Even if you aren’t a Christmas fan you can’t help but be laugh-out-loud amused by a dragon that loves his mate enough to want to make her Christmas “Special”. Reading this book lifted my mood and left me smiling for hours after I was done reading. I highly recommend this book and the series to anyone looking for GREAT entertainment, sexy shifters and dragon shenanigans that will leave you breathless. An honest to goodness feel good read. (Spicy – Adult Readers Please)
Eion loves the holidays doesn’t everyone?
Well once he finally finds and pulls out his decorations Eion may re-think that…
Well think again..LOL.. Not everyone likes Christmas?
Oh no say it is not so?
His Mate will surely surprise him right?
Haha…This short, sweet holiday story is something else. It gives you plenty of hardy laughs for sure.
I don’t think you need to read the other stories in the series although it wouldn’t hurt so you know this couple.
SO DARN CUTE !!!
Title: Not His Christmas
Series: Not This
Author: Annie Nicholas
Designation: Book 3.5 of Series, Novelette (Short Story), Paranormal Christmas Romance, NOT Recommended As A Standalone (To prevent possible spoilers, this story should be read after Books One and Two), NO Cliffhanger
Reading Platform: Kindle Edition
My Rating: Four Deliciously Cute Stars****
So cute! Not His Christmas is a delightfully entertaining Christmas short featuring dragon shifters Eoin and Angie, the couple from the first book of the series, Not His Dragon, with cameos from several other characters from the previous stories. Not His Christmas could probably be read as a standalone but to prevent possible spoilers, I don’t recommend reading this story until after you’ve read, at least, Books One and Two. I love a cute Christmas story this time of year and Annie Nicholas delivers a fabulously entertaining little adventure in this quick yuletide tale. No spoilers from me but I will say this…A completely clueless dragon shifter who wants to surprise his new mate with a little Christmas cheer-Check! A beautiful, sad dragon shifter who may have a surprise of her own-Check! An endearing cast of characters-Check! A little angst and a whole lot of hijinks-Check! A delightful story with lots of humor and heartwarming romance-You bet! That and a whole lot more! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read.
Did I like this story? No, I loved it! Would I recommend it? Yes, but only after reading Books One and Two, and only for adult readers. There were quite a few little boo-boos in my copy, hence the four stars rather than five, but nothing that distracted me from the story. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! This story is perfect for curling up for an hour under your favorite throw with a cup of hot tea. Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!
