I love a good suspense and this book had me enraptured quickly. I haven’t read anything from this author before and was very glad to have had this book find its way into my hands. Suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. Snappy dialogue. Intriguing plot development. Relatable characters. All worthy qualities of a permanent addition to my personal library. Really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.
Our couple are on a simple retrieval mission, that is until the find a dead body. Suddenly the mission has changed.
This is book two of the series and works fine as a standalone. Everything you need to understand the story is presented pretty early one.
I continue to like this romantic suspense series. The story is well written and provides plenty of solid action that keeps things moving and interesting. The characters are also well developed and they are growing a bit with each story. That is a huge plus in my book. The chemistry between them is good and we do get some steamy scenes, which just adds a bit of spice to the mix. Overall, I found the story to be very engaging and enjoyable.
Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this romance suspense story that had me turning pages fast. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed how she was able to pull me in right from the beginning. This story had twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. Can two partners work together and still have a relationship? Lily and Dillion will show how easy it is or not as they work an assignment where they could lose it all. I highly recommend this book.
Not a Good Death: Agents of DART Series book 2 by Naomi Bellina.

Not a Good Death (Agents of Dart Series Book 2) by Naomi Bellina. I LOVE this book! This is about Lily Blume and Dillon Hurst partners in life and work. While on a retrieval assignment working for DART(Damage, Avert and Rescue Team) in a small Midwest town their subject attacks them and takes off. Then they find a teen girl dead so their game plan changes. Dillon is struggling to obey rules and Lily is worried she might have made a mistake having him come to work with her. As they struggle to solve the murder which they think is tied to their subject they are learning its harder to work together than they thought. Dylan knows how to follow orders with his military background but when Lily is in danger and the rules suck they are proving very hard to follow. Both of their jobs are on the line if this job is screwed up and as more murders pile up they’ve got to solve this case. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the first one. Its an awesome series and I can’t wait for the next one.
