I really enjoyed the stories!
Light and predictable, but a quick, fun read for the holiday season!
So easy to read, relaxing and fun. I recommend for a nice light reading.
Such a fun book. If you are not in the Christmas spirit after reading this you are truly Scrooge or the Grinch!
Great stories as well as characters. The location presented was very real. I loved reading this book.
I have to say what a pleasure it was to read such realistic and enjoyable books. Definitely a book to relax with . Hard to put down too.
Fox drew me into her world with the first paragraph. The characters are realistic and memorable. The story heartwarming and touching. A great collection that will make you smile, chuckle and hope for the best.
3 Novellas set in North Pole, Alaska. Yes, there really is a North Pole Alaska and it really has a Candy Cane Lane and a Santa’s workshop (looked it up on Internet, check out the website … it is on a river (Chena and Tanana) which I could not find any river cruises that stopped there. It is about an hour or so from Fairbanks.
The 3 stories are standalone but interconnected. So, you will know them at greater depth read in series … and 1 – 3 build in series and overlap. They are quite charming and heartwarming. I love the Santa letters and the secret Santa elements. I was really pulling for these characters… fell in love with all of them (except the ones I wasn’t supposed to like).
I loved how the author used the children in these stories. It really seemed to bring out the magic for North Pole.
I loved these books! North Pole, Alaska is a magical place. If you want a quick Christmas read that will leave you smiling, these are the books for you.
Blame it on Mistletoe (North Pole, Alaska #1)
I loved this cute Christmas story. When five-year-old DJ Baxter didn’t get a reply to his letter to Santa for two years in a row, he decided to go see him and ask why he didn’t answer the letters. So he sets off to North Pole, Alaska where he knows Santa lives.
His mother is frantic when she finds him missing. Luckily an old friend of her ex-husband drops by. Sparks fly and they get very close. Their bond becomes even stronger when they take off for North Pole to find her son.
This cute Christmas story takes us into the mind of a 5-year-old which is so much fun but we also have the heartache of a mother whose son is missing. Add a romance to the story and you’ve got a perfect Christmas escape.
If Only In My Dreams (North Pole, Alaska #2)
I love North Pole, Alaska where Elves personally answer every letter Santa gets. Unfortunately, Elf Amelia got two letters mixed up. She sent a nasty letter to a little boy that was meant for her ex and the nice letter for the boy to her ex. The poor little fella was in tears when he got his letter but the ex was thrilled with the one he got, thinking Amelia was giving him another chance. Things didn’t get much better when the boy and his father came to visit North Pole. It didn’t work out quite the way the child had hoped. Then when her ex showed up expecting reconciliation, Amelia quickly let him know how wrong he was.
I loved this story and would like to go to this town. The people who live there are kind and thoughtful. Just what you want in a Christmas town. This was a sweet story with lots of laughs.
What Child Is This? (North Pole, Alaska #3)
This is a sweet, emotional story of the magic of Christmas and finding happiness.
It’s so cute when a little girl writes to Santa asking him for a daddy for Christmas. She even included a list of possible daddies! Some of them are much too old or just not suitable but to a 6-year-old if he’s a man and he’s nice, he went on the list. I loved that North Pole, Alaska had Elves answering the kids’ letters but the Elf who had to answer this one had my sympathy.
I liked the little girl, in fact, I liked everyone in the whole town. Between the people and the town, I would like to visit this place.
Fun to read! I would like more like this one!
Such sweet stories with happy endings. Great read!
Enjoyed book
Three great stories about a little Christmas all year long town somewhere near Fairbanks. Believable and uplifting to meet the characters; some quirky but real. It’s a good read anytime of the year.
This was a collection of feel good Christmas romances. The characters in each book were connected (as they all took place in North Pole, AK) but each book is a stand alone. The books were a quick read, clean, and sweet. Of course each book ended with a happily ever after. It was a nice, enjoyable set of Christmas stories.
Fun trad
These are wonderfully fun reads.
These sweet romantic stories have great characters, a wonderful setting, and plots that make you smile and feel good.
This book was a very easy read. Although the outcome was predictable in each mini-happily ever after scenario it had some whimsy and brought some happy thoughts to a dreary 2021.
Quick relaxing way to enjoy an afternoon.
