Desperate to escape agonizing memories of Christmas past, twenty-nine-year-old widow Megan Snow builds a snow family outside the mountain cabin she once shared with her husband, realizing too late that she’s recreated the very thing she’ll never have. Called to life by Megan’s tears, snow god Owen Winters appears unconscious on her doorstep in the midst of a raging blizzard. As she nurses him to … to health, Owen finds unexpected solace in her company and unimagined pleasure in the warmth of her body, and vows to win her heart for a chance at humanity. Megan is drawn to Owen’s mismatched eyes, otherworldly masculinity, and enthusiasm for the littlest things. But this Christmas miracle comes with an expiration—before the snow melts and the temperature rises, Megan must let go of her widow’s grief and learn to trust love again, or she’ll lose Owen forever.

Took long to accept her cats no one is this loyal
This book took me by surprise, with how much I liked it. It’s tender and sweet, and deals a lot with how we are expected to grieve versus the pace at which we are able to grieve. I find the supernatural/gods storyline interesting, as well. Owen is definitely the type of book boyfriend that is right up my alley, because he is compassionate and …
Knowing that the book was going to end well, didn’t stop the tears at the end.
Megan is a twenty nine year old widow and is spending Christmas at the cabin her and her husband spent every Christmas at. He’s been gone two years and her family worries about her. Megan goes outside and builds a snow family. When she wakes up later, there is a man on her doorstep. Owen is a god of winter and has been sent to help Megan find love …
I loved it and cant wait to buy the other books in the series
I liked this book until the end when an action the heroine takes makes me hate her even though the hero is later resurrected via deus ex machina. He should have stayed dead and she should have to live with it. His death was well done.
Love the story.
It was kinda unrealistic but ok.
It’s a pretty good read that’ll keep you interested till the end. I would give it a 5 star rating but I’m not a fan of romance novels. If you do like them then this might just be your 5 star rating read/book.
A different twist to it
I loved this book. It was a novel concept and well thought-out.
