Good characters, entertaining plot, covering the very real issue of human trafficking – worth the read. There are aspects of the book that are not entirely plausible, but that doesn’t detract from an overall, well-written book that is engaging, entertaining and interesting.
Could do without the language.
I kept turning pages to see what happens next. I could have done without the foul language .
I got this Audio book from the author and Author Direct. I loved the book. But the chapters were messed up.
Private Investigator Georgia receives a bloodstained wrapper from a half-sister who never knew she existed. The note tells Georgia that her half-sister is pregnant and needs her help. Thus follows Georgia’s investigation into a sex trafficking ring, who sells babies. I couldn’t put it down!
Yes
The topic of sex trafficking and black market babies is hard for most to talk about, this book does a good job of introducing the dangers of this world in an intriguing mystery that is hard to put down.
Very good story. Great characters.
Heart felt.
This is actually a excellent storyline, the whole book is excellent. Except. Our heroine Georgia is an idiot. She needs to be replaced with a P.I. That actually fits the roll. As an ex-cop /PI, She runs doing surveillance, and tailing suspects in a ‘red ‘car. Georgia never has backup, doesn’t let anyone know where she is, gets busted because …
Definitely kept my interest and I didn’t want to put it down. Good development of characters and an unusual story line.
Kept me interested.
Kept my interest and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Hard to put down.
Loved it!
I enjoyed this read. I’ll look for more of this author!!
It was hard to follow.
Unable to put down this twisting and mind boggling mystery.
The main character, Georgia, is interesting. Her family background is difficult. It shows at times in her actions. There is a previously unknown sister and you are left with a desire to find out what happens between the sisters.
Very foul language throughout, tough jumps in the action, unnecessary sections. I finished it just to finish it, but of ALL the books I’ve ever read, I think this was the one with the most gratuitous, unnecessary foul language and situations. I definitely do NOT recommend it.
This book was a little hard to read at times because of teenage sex-trafficking. There was mystery and suspense and it was never boring. I also have other books in this series, the Georgia Davis series.
