What a unique, detailed, enthralling story this is. The characters come to life as real and flawed yet noble people, and details of the brutality of the Civil War are compelling. The author’s character development is excellent and believable. I truly loved reading this novel and thank Jessica James for this experience.
(NOT a Christian book). While I usually read Christian fiction, this story goes down as one of my all-time favorite books. I love Civil War romance and Jessica James’s “Noble Cause” was one I could not put down. In fact it kept me up into the wee hours of the morning.

This book brought out the horrors of the Civil War and always carried the thread of love between two bothers. Thru this book, I became reacquainted with the meaning of honor. It’s something we have lost as individuals and as a nation.
