“No fraternization with the bosses” was rule number one. No matter how cute he was, I couldn’t risk my job. I wouldn’t jeopardize my one chance to escape my life by dating my boss. He was watching me. Not only was I the youngest secretary on the third floor, but Mr. Hendrix was the only man under forty in company management. I thought about his looks—the way that one lock of hair curled over his … over his forehead, his aquiline profile, those broad shoulders—and then I shut down that train of thought.
He really was a nice guy. Why can’t I find a guy like him to whisk me away from my sucky life?
No man had ever shown me tenderness. Not one. Life with my father was hard fists and harsh words. Men outside the family either ignored me or showed unwanted attention with catcalls and roaming hands.
Occasionally, I had heard of a girl here hitting the jackpot and her boss marrying her, but most of the time the boss had his fun, and the girl got fired. That would not be me. Not this girl. No way.

I have mixed feelings about this book for two reasons. I loved reading how Noah and Lena met and fell in love. However, I feel like this should have been the first book, instead of book four. I thought this was going to be a book where Noah would get his happily ever after and by reading the other books first, we know that doesn’t happen. How did Lena die? Will Noah ever met someone and fall in love again? I gave this book 4 stars because I’ve enjoyed reading about the guys Noah mentored, but I’m really disappointed with the content of this book. Also, needs to be edited again.
Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop.
A passionate and emotional read with twists. Enjoyable and recommendable.
It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The story is relatable and believable and that makes it better. I enjoyed reading every chapter. It is heartwarm and has a mix of drama, realisation, love, twists, emotions and passion in it.
A story about seeing what is right in front of you. To take what fate presents to you.
An interesting well written heartwarming romance story. The characters are strong, likable, and they have good chemisty. It has a wonderful intriguing storyline with great twists and turns, drama, family and other issues creating obstacles to keep them from their HEA.

I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night. What you need to know: this book contains no cheating, no cliff-hangers and a HEA.

Fantastic, steamy romance drama! Loved the character building and realistic backstory! Edge of your seat reading from the first page! Keep them coming!!
I really super enjoyed this story. The characters were so well developed that it seamlessly weave its tale with great detail and depth kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book.
This is a deviation from your normal billionaire romance. The book starts with a harrowing experience of violence in an extremely poverty-stricken apartment. It touches on the subject of a dysfunctional physically abusive alcoholic father and his wife and nine children. Our female lead character is Lena. She is the eldest of nine siblings and tries to keep everyone safe from her father. There is hardly ever any food for the children. There is no money for clothing and the family lives in constant fear. Lena is determined to educate herself out of her poverty and pain. She is intelligent, witty and resourceful. She is going to night school to earn a degree in Computer Science and a minor in business. She works full time in a secretarial pool. When Noah Hendrix becomes part of the company, he needs a secretary. Lena is tapped for the position. Noah is the male lead character. He leads a life of privilege and never wants for anything. He is a brilliant business man. Along with his partner John, they open H&A Biotech. They are working on a life changing process to treat leukemia at the cellular level. Noah’s father is a state senator and his mother wants him to follow in his footsteps. She has setup an arranged marriage with the daughter of a well-connected friend. Noah does not want to be married, but does not go against his mother. The story covers the budding romance between Lena and Noah. Lena is no fool. She knows Noah is engaged against his will but hopes that he will break the engagement to be with her. Her father kicks her out of the apartment and Noah rescues her. He takes her to his apartment to live. They get along extremely well at work and home. Then the unthinkable happens to Lena and now her responsibility has doubles. Also her father is extorting money from Noah. Then everything comes crashing down around Lena and she refuses to stay with Noah one more minute. She returns to her parents and her father does not give her a warm welcome. When Noah’s parents are murdered, killed in their limo by a bomb, he falls apart. I am glad this story takes on tough subject matters and deals with it humanly and realistically. It is a quiet reminder that no matter what one may think of themselves, there is always someone worse off. An excellent read and I do recommend it. This is a wonderful heart warming story! I was captivated by not only the story-line but the characters themselves. I loved Lena and Noah!! Great chemistry!! Very intriguing with some great twists and turns. I look forward to reading Ryder’s story!!
The fourth book in The Lost Billionaires series and I know I want to read the next book. Noah needs to see what is right in front of his face. I want to know what happens in Mark and Mason as they get older. I would recommend this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was such a heartwarming story. I loved the journey, even though I wanted Noah to get a clue a LOT sooner. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
This book was quite interesting. Noah was born to rich parents who pretty much controlled his life (or tried to). Lena was born poor and had a bum father who liked to use his fists on his family especially his wife. Lena got a job as a secretary to Noah and they started sleeping together even though he was engaged to another (his mother arranged it). Lena got pregnant and got fired, moved back home….. Things really got interesting then. Her father went off the rails and did something horrific, and once Lena found out, she turned him in. I just kept reading (couldn’t put it down) to see what would happen next.
