Handsome devil. Hate-worthy. Walking scandal.I’m catching one feeling with him and it’s got teeth…If I were a bird, I know who I’d paint white.Holt Silverton. The cocky dolt who swaggered up thinking he’d buy my ranch out from under me.I know his reputation—those stormy eyes and chiseled looks ruined half this town.Spare me the pick up lines and pretty words.I’d rather chew nails than get roped … words.
I’d rather chew nails than get roped up in anything with him.
I ain’t selling off my home, my inheritance, or my horses.
Not even if I desperately need the cash when trouble comes calling.
But there are two things I didn’t count on.
Holt’s as stubborn as a bull.
He’s also hiding a rough and tumble country boy behind that big city suit.
Everything flips upside down the day he says he’ll help save my land.
Too easy.
Because I can’t let anybody uncover the awful secret on my property.
Not even gorgeous stallions turning I-hate-you into what-are-we-doing.
He’s no white knight.
The way Holt kisses is a warning…
Nothing will ever be the same after this dark knight rocks my world.

I love reading the stories about the characters living in Hearts Edge. They have become people I cheer for and always want to see the good guys succeed. The author has created characters in this small town that almost anyone can relate to their struggles and successes. Libby is a firebrand. She is fighting to keep her ranch and the legacy of her ancestors alive. She also has a huge secret that could destroy the good name of her father and family. Holt is back in Hearts Edge trying to repair his name, reputation and his heart. Sparks fly when he and Libby meets. They clash and keep clashing until they call a truce to try and save the ranch. A new enemy has come to Hearts Edge now that Galentron has been demolished but the heroes are still up to the task of bringing them down. This is still another on the edge of your seat story that you are accustomed to seeing from this author. You will enjoy the sharp wit of of Holt and Libby as the banter and the heat filled passion they share. Another hero is born in Hearts Edge and another happy ending is achieved.

This is such a great series! Holy and Liberty’s book drew me in and I couldn’t put it down! She’s worried about losing her land, will Holt become her real knight?

Who do you do when you are trying to save your farm and your dad’s reputation? The town bad boy, Holt. Holt wants to buy Libby’s ranch from her. No. It’s her only answer despite her money problems. This is an unpredictable book especially because of the secret Libby is hiding. Holt is determined to get the farm and Libby as well. The characters were good. The book reads normal and slows down at other times. The plot is good.

“No White Knight” is a cloudburst of genuine emotions wrapped up in a blazing hot read. When I reached the end, I still craved more. Characters spring to life with witty banter, picturesque, vivid scene descriptions, hero rescue, family drama, mystery, danger, life-threatening moments, toe curling sizzling romance, and a fabulous happy forever.
Liberty Potter needs an idea fast to pay the back taxes on her ranch. She is hiding a secret that could damage her family name. Holt Silverton has the wicked guy break your heart reputation. He came back to Heart’s Edge to change his life style. Holt’s key priority is to buy Liberty’s ranch. When he meets the independent beauty with the firecracker persona, molten-passionate desires swirl inside him. They face a few hurdles before reaching their happy forever.
Fabulous well-written, fast-paced read. Holt and Liberty’s chemistry is spot on. Liberty is a force, and Holt’s protective nature shines. Holt’s changed ways becomes him. Loving this entertaining read, I reviewed a pre-release via Booksprout.
When Stars Align…
Holt Silverton and Libby Potter are like vinegar and water. They could not be more opposite. Holt is the bad boy with a reputation for leaving women with their hearts crushed when they get too close. He is a typical city slicker that has come back to his small town roots. He knows he has a near impossible uphill battle to get in the good graces of Heart’s Edge and especially his brother Blake.
Libby is a foul mouthed, no filter feisty as sin cowgirl through and through. But she has a heart of gold that beats with the love of her family and her home. I loved it when these two opposites spit nails at each other. At first Holt makes it his mission to convince this spitfire to sell her land so he can develop it for a Shopping Mall. Well that was not happening on Libby’s watch. What they could agree on was the hot chemistry between them. One kiss and they were both goners.
Nicole Snow pulled out all the stops with the suspense and intrigue in this story. It had me chomping at the bit trying to figure out what was going to happen next. If you love enemies to lovers, sizzling hot scorching chemistry, suspense and a HEA that will make you swoon, this is the story for you.
The sparks and banter between Holt and Libby fly off the pages from the get go. Holt, the long lost trouble maker brother to Blake, who left his fair share of broken and used women when he left Heart’s Edge for the big city life. He’s back and is doing his best to make amends with his brother and prove he is a changed man. But his reputation precedes him especially his man wh*** ways, so when he meets Libby because he wants a piece of her land, she doesn’t fall for his charm. Libby is a spite fire and has no problems sticking up for herself and her home, giving a tongue lashing to Holt when he confronts her on her property. Holt isn’t easily deterred and is taken with the beauty who has a back bone, so he does his best to prove that he has changed and actually wants to help her. As their story unfolds, and both learn there is more than meets the eye with these two and the land that someone will go to great lengths to have.
Oh boy the sparks and banter between Holt and Libby had me laughing out loud and snorting, the mud scene in the beginning…had me in stitches. These two were great and just when it almost became too much, the author did her magic and reined it in, having these two turn their bickering into something more. The story flowed beautifully, the characters were amazing, the steam..oh boy…the steam…the suspense, surprises, twists and turns had me flipping the pages till the end. Holt proves that a leopard can change its spots and earns his spot as one of the heroes of Heart’s Edge.

Oh the BANTER….
I loved the feisty Libby, she is my new favorite female from the little town of Hearts Edge! Libby was the perfect contender for Holt’s Bad Boy reformation. Their story drew me in and kept me engaged
until the end.
There was so much I liked about this book:
Small Town Craziness
Reformed Bad Boy Heart-breaker
Twisty Suspense
Enemy-to-Lovers
Loyalty and Family healing
Can’t wait to see what can happen next in Hearts Edge….
No White Knight was a great story. The plot and characters were strong, it was filled with many emotions. Nicole Snow did a great job on it. Holt and Libby’s journey had it’s ups and down, both were head strong. Loved their bantering. They were made for each other. Their attraction was strong, they were drawn to one another. The chemistry between them was sexy. They were just great together.
This was a great story, I enjoyed it. I’d suggest reading it.
Thank you, Nicole Snow. Great work 🙂
Old West meets the 21st Century in this fabulous adventure romance!
I think I fell a little in love with Holt in his brother’s book, No Damaged Goods. Holt’s spent decades perfecting his playboy reputation, and no one thinks he’s returning to his hometown so this leopard can change his spots. But Holt has had an epiphany in New York, and it’s time he starts thinking about the man he wants to be.
Libby knows exactly who Holt Silverton is, and she wants no part of his pretty words and slick salesmanship. Resisting his offers to buy her ranch is only the beginning, though, as the convergence of her long-lost sister returning home, the bank collecting on back taxes, and Holt’s inability to stay away from Libby all results in an action-adventure like nothing I’ve ever read before!
We’ve got a slithering villain, or is there two? Is Holt really trying to become the man Libby needs or is he still racking up notches on his bed post? And what’s the truth at the end of Nowhere Road?
Holt and Libby are one of the best enemies-to-lovers couples I’ve ever read. The banter is finely-balanced fire and ice, their chemistry is hotter than firecrackers, and their capacity to dream of a future together is equally matched. I loved the way she called him on his history instead of making assumptions. Their refreshing honesty permeated their entire relationship so we didn’t have to slog through any “misunderstandings.”
“In one breath we went from screaming insults to screaming desire. Right alongside this sort of quiet thing where we’re partners in crime.”
Their HEA was solid, sweet, and included a beautiful, fitting tribute to the man who really was responsible for bringing them together. The brilliantly creative horse-themed phrases led us from chapter to chapter, giving us a solid cowboy theme throughout. Once again, this author hits it out of the park, giving us an unforgettable adventure alongside an epic love story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I love Nicole’s Hearts Edge series!
No White Knight is a fantastic addition! I loved how we got to see the characters from the previous stories! Holt was the towns bad boy returning to try to get a new start. Libby was trying to hold on to her ranch after her fathers death. After a rough start they act on their attraction. They were perfect for each other. This story was an emotional roller coaster ride filled with mystery, suspense, love and twists and turns that keep reading to see what happens! I loved the banter between Holt and Libby and their chemistry was explosive! They worked together along with the Hearts Edge hero’s to solve the mystery! I loved this book! I’m hope that Nichole gives us more Hearts Edge in the future!

Move over, Galentron – Get ready for Ursa!
The Heroes of Heart’s Edge series is back with a new but familiar hero and a new mystery in book six. Holt Silverton, Blake’s younger brother who surprised everyone when he came to the rescue in No Damaged Goods, gets his very own story and the chance to join forces with his brother’s friends. This time the story revolves around murder, ghost towns, and a NASA scientist. Reading book four, No Damaged Goods, is not required but is recommended because Holt’s history with Blake is laid out in that book.
This book is part of the Heroes of Heart’s Edge series. Heart’s Edge is a small town near Missoula, Montana in which peculiar things have a habbit of happening. Each book is rich with the history of the town, familiar haunts, and continuing glances at favorite characters. Each is a complex love story between well-defined characters and set in the midst of a new trouble plaguing the town and its heroes as history has a way of resurfacing. Crush at first sight develops into a deep love amidst danger and suspense. These smart books are beautifully written and packed with everything – mystery, suspense, danger, broken characters, and a heartfelt love story. Each may be read perfectly as stand-alone, but knowing the complex histories certainly adds to the enjoyment.
To review, in book one, Warren Ford and Haley fall in love while battling a drug runner. Warren finds closure in the death of his sister, Jenna. In book two, Doc Gray, the local vet and most eligible bachelor, gets taken off the market by his new assistant Ember. They face danger as Gray’s former employer, Galentron, a research company with a hushed local history, comes back into town and plays dirty. Book three sees the legend of Nine turn into a local hero following years in hiding after killing a man and escaping from jail. Nine turns out to be Warren and Blake’s old childhood friend Leo, a.k.a. Tiger, and he worked with Doc at Galentron a decade ago when it all burned down. It is a heartbreaking story in which Leo earns redemption and his HEA with long lost love, Clarissa. Book four is Blake Silverton and Peace Rabe’s story. It opened in January, and Heart’s Edge had been quiet since Leo’s story in autumn. Blake is a military veteran, Fire and Rescue Chief, radio call-in line host, and welder. He likes to keep busy, even if his military pension covers his living expenses. He has a limp from a war injury that sometimes slows him down. Blake’s sixteen year old Andrea is a handful and as a single dad Blake struggles. When free spirit Peace Rabe comes through town, Blake finally finds love, but an arsonist determined to burn the town down threatens his HEA. Book five is shorter and takes place largely outside of Heart’s Edge, but it is an important story about a character with a sordid history in Heart’s Edge. Ice queen Fuchsia Delaney’s story is finally told, and she has had her reasons for turning off her emotions. Her story has parallels to Leo’s, which is steeped in Galentron history. Her tearful story finally gets her a hard-earned happy ending with Oliver Major, although it would be lovely down the road to get a bigger and bolder HEA for the couple.
Liberty Jane Potter, twenty-seven, is dead set on keeping the ranch that has been in her family for generations. Her father passed away eight months ago and left her with a tax lien. She refuses to negotiate a way forward and pushes away everyone that tries to help. When her wayward sister Sierra shows up for the first time in eight years and brings a pushy boyfriend from the bank, telling Sierra to demand her half of the ranch and force a sale, things escalate.
Holt Silverton, forty, built his career on seduction and dirty deals. Being a builder and living the high life in his fancy New York penthouse had been exciting, but it all blew up in his face and karma is nasty. He hopes it isn’t too late to start over, and coming back to Heart’s Edge feels right. He wants to build something honest and leave all the seduction behind. He has finally earned Blake’s trust after a lifetime of sibling rivalry, and spending time with his niece Andrea and Blake’s new wife Peace is more than he could have expected. He wants a family of his own one day, but first he needs to establish himself in town by building his business and rebuilding his reputation. When he left town years ago, he had left behind a whole lot of broken hearts and angry women. He is determined never to mix business and pleasure again, and has avoided women since New York.
When a land deal too good to be true presents itself in early summer, Blake senses it is trouble but has to follow through anyway. He remembers little Libby and Sierra Potter from when they were little girls, and the chance to purchase some much coveted land would cement his position in town. Apparently Libby didn’t get the memo that Sierra had arranged for a viewing, though, because the wild and headstrong hellion literally knocked Holt off his feet. Nevertheless, the spirit and light within Libby had set him on fire in way that he knew would get him in trouble.
When Libby realizes the hotshot businessman with the nerve to enter her property is the infamous Holt Silverton, she simply can’t hold her tongue. But Holt can take it and give it back, too. Their bold banter too often leaves her foot in her mouth. And despite the age difference, Holt seems to be flirting with her, but she knows better than to trust anything out of his mouth.
Holt and Libby’s story has a seemingly unlikely couple brought together in the complex quest to save a ranch. In helping Libby, Holt selflessly works against his own interests. The contrast between the old version of Holt and his improved version are night and day. Holt might have taken a long time to grow up, but he chose to learn from his failure. His confidence and skills at seduction combine with his new conscience to make him perfectly capable of taming Libby, and she is the only woman that has motivated him to be a better man. Not surprisingly, their chemistry is explosive.
In an effort to save the ranch, the couple researches the history of the property, leading to stories of bandits, the Wild West, silver mines, and ghost towns. Libby continues to mourn her father as she grapples with reconciling the man she knew with newly discovered information. Once again, everything culminates in a huge crisis, so naturally Blake, Warren, Doc, and Leo make an appearance. In the end, Holt and Libby earn a thorough and beautiful HEA.
A few points merit mention. *Spoiler* First, there was discussion of looking out for a distraction before being hit, yet the heroes forgot. Next, the crisis at the end, though they are always a bit wild, doesn’t feel as authentic in this story. It is difficult to believe that Holt so casually left Libby without immediately rescuing her.
Holt and Libby’s story is beautifully written from the beginning to the end. The plot is very complex. The characters are carefully crafted. It is written in first person. The POV alternates between Holt and Libby. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

This is a well written romantic thriller. The author brings strong characters and weaves an intriguing story. She does a great job pulling you in with all the twists and turns and keeps you reading as she builds the tension. She gives Libby and Holt a hot chemistry and I loved their bantering. She brings the story to life with her descriptive writing and moves the story fluidly. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

I love the Hearts Edge people and just when we think it’s all settled down, a new mystery evolves!…
Libby is a kickass firecracker, her dad has not long passed, her mum’s long dead and her sister ran off years ago so she’s left on her own to run the ranch but she’s behind in all her bills and it looks like she could loose it all.
Colt is Blakes brother who we met in a previous book, he had a quick appearance himself in that book! But after living it up in the big city, the stereotypical playboy realises there’s more to life so he packs up and comes home hoping to make a good life for himself. In comes Libby….
He’s wanting to buy part of her land and help her out, She’s stubborn and determined to keep it all but it seems there’s more that she’s determined to keep to herself and she soon realises she can’t go it alone!
It’s sassy and sexy, there’s mysterious secrets, villans and all the feels. And best of all – we get more of the Hero’s of Hearts Edge
Really enjoyed it, love this wee town and can’t wait to read more! Please tell me Felicitys tale is next???….
I voluntarily received an arc from the author and this is my honest review.
