Handsome devil. Hate-worthy. Walking scandal.I’m catching one feeling with him and it’s got teeth…If I were a bird, I know who I’d paint white.Holt Silverton. The cocky dolt who swaggered up thinking he’d buy my ranch out from under me.I know his reputation—those stormy eyes and chiseled looks ruined half this town.Spare me the pick up lines and pretty words.I’d rather chew nails than get roped … words.
I’d rather chew nails than get roped up in anything with him.
I ain’t selling off my home, my inheritance, or my horses.
Not even if I desperately need the cash when trouble comes calling.
But there are two things I didn’t count on.
Holt’s as stubborn as a bull.
He’s also hiding a rough and tumble country boy behind that big city suit.
Everything flips upside down the day he says he’ll help save my land.
Too easy.
Because I can’t let anybody uncover the awful secret on my property.
Not even gorgeous stallions turning I-hate-you into what-are-we-doing.
He’s no white knight.
The way Holt kisses is a warning…
Nothing will ever be the same after this dark knight rocks my world.

Nicole Snow brings enemies-to-lovers bliss together with allll the small-town feels! No White Knight gives us an alpha-tastic hometown boy with a wild reputation and a sassy-mouthed firecracker with everything on the line. Holt and Libby are polar opposites. The banter comes hot and heavy and so does the magnetic “oh no” pull between these two. They go down hard and it’s a thrilling, unpredictable joy ride to the last page. I loved this intense, original and funny journey back to Heart’s Edge—don’t miss this lightning-hot new standalone novel!
Holt Silverton had quite a reputation and was cocky as hell. This is Libby and Holt’s story and it one one of explosive chemistry, twists, drama, turmoil and more suspense than you can imagine. They’re enemies and there’s no way she’s selling her inherited ranch to him. The continue to butt heads and their back and forth banter is hilarious at times. The characters have a lot of depth, are amusing and likable. The story line is engaging and will capture your interest right at the beginning and keep you page turning. I found it hard to put down once I began. Am enemy to lovers story with lots of steam, secrets galore and spunk. No cliffhanger and an HEA, of course. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review. A must read if you like spunky romances.
No White Knight is Holt Silverton’s story. It was nice to get Holt’s backstory and learn what caused him to return to Heart’s Edge. I liked seeing how life caused him to mature and Libby pushed him to want more, without knowing that she was becoming his kryptonite. Libby was feisty, stubborn and carried a lot of weight on her shoulders with trying to keep her ranch and protect her memories of her father. Holt and Libby were an explosive pair.
This is the first time that Galentron is not the culprit, book the suspense and danger are just as acute. I did feel the story dragged in one or two places. The writing wasn’t bad, it just seemed like the pacing stuttered, then picked back up. This is definitely an adult read with language and scenes and despite my comment above, this book is a really good choice to read. You could read this book without knowing anything about the other books. 4-4.5 stars

This was a good enemies to friends read! Libby is mad…really mad! Her father died and left her the ranch that is in debt for taxes not paid. Her sister wants her half/share of the ranch. Holt looks better than ever and wants to build a road that runs through her ranch! This book has mystery, turmoil, and love. Good read!
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
How can Nicole Snow keep on writing books that are better and better I keep on thinking she must have hit her peak and the next book comes and it is a step up yet again and this one is no exception
Once again we are in Hearts Edge Montana where I believe all the best men live and the smooth tongued Holt Silverton is no exception This walking talking billboard example of all that you could want in a man is a real estate developer determined to buy Libby Potter’s land to build a shopping centre She wants nothing to do with him or his deals but he is determined to get not only her land but her as well Will he succeed You will have to read to see
Holt may have a bad boy reputation, but will he be Libby’s white knight
I loved the story of Libby and Holt who may have started off on the wrong foot but found their groove in the end.
Libby’s financial problems with her ranch are compounded when her prodigal sister and boyfriend along with Holt’s offer to get Libby into selling off some of the ranch for access to a new mall. Holt’s past bad boy reputation and trying to buy part of her ranch has Libby pushing him away literally. Yet the stellar attraction between the two won’t be denied when Holt learns to read just what Libby needs. When bad luck comes their way, will they join forces and hunker down? You have to read to find out and love the interactions between the two, never knowing what to expect the outcome to be.
No White Knight is a story about a kickass sassy chick trying to save her land and her father’s good name. Who says the bad boy returning to town after being gone for years can’t change his ways and help her all the while falling in love with her?
I highly recommend this book. Holt and Libby’s story is my favorite one so far out of the Heart’s Edge series by Nicole Snow.
The plot was intriguing and enjoyable but I didn’t give it five stars because the story was to long. I feel that it could have accomplished the same intensity with a little shorter book. The plot was full fascinating moments. The characters were interesting and defined. My favorite part of the book was in the ranch when Holt and Libbi had their first meeting. It was both funny and sexy. If read several of Nicole’s books and her characters have always peeked my interest. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Sometimes you get help when you least expect it! Libby is trying to hold on to her ranch after her father dies, her sister has been gone and she has secrets. Holt is trying to buy all or part of her property to put in a road to a new mall he wants to build. While they each have their own agendas, love blooms. When she is being threatened, Holt has her back. And, they are trying to solve a murder before the sheriff finds out. Then to complicate matters, her long lost sister shows up with her skeevy boyfriend to claim her portion of the ranch for a quick payday. Greedy, greedy people who want something for nothing. Nicely written, interesting and very enjoyable book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
This is a quick and easy read. The storyline is well-crafted, intriguing, suspenseful, has drama and steam. The characters are defined, and likable with sizzling chemistry. I liked it.

”….like someone just punted a seagull in the gut…”
Our impressions of Holt Silverton, Blake’s brother, weren’t all good in previous books…but he redeemed himself…Holt is ex-military, an infamous, former, Heart’s Edge manwhore and owner of a new-ish construction company in Heart’s Edge…He’s trying to clean up his act, both personal and professionally….and he needs Libby Potter’s land to secure a lucrative mall contract with the city council….He just didn’t expect Libby to be so…Libby….and for him to like it…a lot
Liberty Potter is a quirky, and a tough as nails, bada-s chick who, basically, runs her ranch alone…Libby is no girly girl…she has to work too hard….Her parents are both gone…and her sister, Sierra, is uninterested in the farm….Plus, Sierra is being manipulated by an unscrupulous con artist..(I guess that’s redundant)….and they are trying to steal the land from Libby….Libby wants nothing to do with Holt Silverton, since she thinks he’s also trying to steal her land…and Libby has reasons she doesn’t want ANYONE on her land….Secrets and mysteries pop up everywhere…..When Holt finally convinces Libby he’s on her side, she makes him move in with her….but, to be honest, she doesn’t really have to twist his arm…..
I love No White Knight….and I love Holt and Libby…they have such a hot chemistry….and an opposites attract thing going on….and I loved their story…The Heroes of Heart’s Edge is one of my favorite series….and I was happy they are all here….I love them all….These books are all somewhat suspense/mysteries…with lots of heat….I’m going to be sad when Nicole Snow concludes this series…
I thought that this book was a brilliant combination of thrills and emotion. I loved Holt and Libby! The chemistry, banter, sparks and steam are spot on with this incredible couple and trust me when I say they will have you laughing, swooning and needing an ice cold beverage! This delightful story quickly captures your attention and keeps it with a compelling blend of powerful emotions, drama, tension, secrets, mystery, suspense, humor and heat. Of my own volition I am posting a truthful review.
Not a quick read so bunker down, it’s so worth it…
I don’t tell the story as the blurb & previous reviews have that covered. This was probably one of the most compelling reads for me so far this year & I can read several books daily. Not on this occasion though, it took a couple of days in between real life getting in the way but not once did I have to go back & read a chapter or two to remind me of the story, I was that hooked. It was beautifully crafted & flawless. I wish I could give this more than five stars because it certainly deserves it & let me add, I’m a city girl through & through but I’m falling hard for gritty country folk. Highly recommended. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
3.5
This is another story in the Heart’s Edge world, but can be read as a standalone.
We finally get Holt Silverton’s story—Blake’s playboy brother who came back home after leaving the small town for the big city. He’s hoping to establish himself as a professional contractor with integrity. He’s searching for something real and honest. And it doesn’t get any more real than Libby Potter. Libby is country. She’s born and raised in the small town of Heart’s Edge and now lives and runs the family ranch. She’s hit tough financial times and it seems everyone wants a piece of her.
I had a really tough time getting into this one for several reasons. I don’t mind a long book, in fact, I enjoy them. Especially when they have complex plots and characters. But I felt the length of this one and thought it could have been trimmed in parts. And while I do love a strong heroine, Libby often teetered on that edge between tough and annoying. And I found myself irritated most of the time. This wasn’t my favorite of the series but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to read more from this series or author.
/I received an advanced edition of this book. This did not affect my opinion of the story or content of my review./
A story full of heat, mystery and drama. While I have loved previous books from the Heart’s Edge series, I would not say that this was one of my favorites. I liked that Libby was a scrappy, independent woman. However, her short temper bothered me. It seemed like she was fighting everyone and everything. Holt was a yummy alpha male who was trying to overcome his playboy reputation. Yet, when these 2 do the dirty, there was no discussion of protection nor was any used. The intrigue part of this story kept my attention. It was also nice to catch up with other characters from previous books.

A wellwritten book with an actionpacked storyline filled with lots of emotions and captivating characters. Love the chemistry between Holt and Libby. Would love to read more about this couple.

Another great for Miss Snow! Hearts Edge adds another thrilling and dramatic read to it repertoire. This book has Mystery drama and all the feels that you need to keep you coming back for more and Begging for the next book in this series! Liberty and Holt are explosive if not on fire! These two are so funny to me because they are COMPLETE OPPOSITES. You wouldn’t think that they would work but they do. Nicole another fine submission to this little town. I really had fun reading this .

I love small town romances and this one has some suspense and mystery thrown in along with the chemistry between the characters. I couldn’t put it down and part of the story had me on edge trying to figure out what Liberty’s secret could be. Her and Holt are explosive and I loved their initial banter.

No White Knight is an excellent addition to the Heart’s Edge books. Holt Silverton is trying to hold onto his business and rehabilitate his reputation at the same time; he has no intention of getting involved with anyone. But that was before he met Liberty Potter. Liberty is the sister of Sierra Potter. Liberty is trying to hold on to the family ranch and keep it from going under while she guards a secret to protect her deceased father’s reputation. Unfortunately, she owes back taxes and her own sister wants the ranch sold. Holt wants part of the ranch so he can build a road to a planned shopping center. But sparks fly when Holt meets Liberty he can’t fight his attraction to the lady who’s determined not to sell even one small piece of her ranch, especially a certain piece of it, one that holds a mystery long kept secret. Liberty feels her own strong attraction to Holt, but she doesn’t trust it or him. There are so many against Liberty even after Holt bows out and joins in to help her that the odds are not in her favor. Everything comes to a head when Sierra’s boyfriend makes his move and it’s Holt to the rescue. Or is he too late? What will become of Liberty and Holt, will the mystery be solved, and her father’s name kept pure, will there be a HEA for Holt and Liberty?
Libby and Holt are the most amazing couple, they might be my favorite in Heart’s Edge. While the plot has mystery and agnst the driving force in thus story (for me) is the relationship. Libby is Hellfire and sass. I loved her strong backbone, determination, willingness to stand and fight and her heart. Holt, well he was tempered and bold but also had to much internal strenght that he could step back from his goals to help out others. The fire between these two was both humorous beyond measure and hott, hot, hot as Hell. I’m talking melted kindle with a generous side of sass.
It was also really great to see past characters, like Easter eggs for those who have read this series; though that is not needed, this can be read as a standalone. This was a great country small town story and worth the read. If I had one complaint it would be that the story felt too long, in the since that some scenes felt drawn out. I had the pleasure of reading this ARC and I am leaving an honest review.
