Handsome devil. Hate-worthy. Walking scandal.I’m catching one feeling with him and it’s got teeth…If I were a bird, I know who I’d paint white.Holt Silverton. The cocky dolt who swaggered up thinking he’d buy my ranch out from under me.I know his reputation—those stormy eyes and chiseled looks ruined half this town.Spare me the pick up lines and pretty words.I’d rather chew nails than get roped … words.
I’d rather chew nails than get roped up in anything with him.
I ain’t selling off my home, my inheritance, or my horses.
Not even if I desperately need the cash when trouble comes calling.
But there are two things I didn’t count on.
Holt’s as stubborn as a bull.
He’s also hiding a rough and tumble country boy behind that big city suit.
Everything flips upside down the day he says he’ll help save my land.
Too easy.
Because I can’t let anybody uncover the awful secret on my property.
Not even gorgeous stallions turning I-hate-you into what-are-we-doing.
He’s no white knight.
The way Holt kisses is a warning…
Nothing will ever be the same after this dark knight rocks my world.

Holt Silverton returned home to Heart’s Edge determined to start a new life. Little he realize that the home and new life he longed for would come in the form of one feisty, hard headed, spitfire of a woman. Liberty Potter remembers the Holt of high school. Player and heartbreaker who never met a woman whose bed he didn’t warm. She’s having nothing of it even though he’s insanely attractive. Libby has too much on her plate trying to save her family’s ranch from the bank and her money grubbing sister and boyfriend. Holt truly becomes her white knight as he helps her keep the wolves at bay.
This book gets top marks. I love all the Hearts Edge series and this does not dissapoint!
Its explosive, edgy, steamy and brilliant writing. I love the characters Holt and Libby.
Thanks for a great read.
Good book, interesting story line, likeable characters for the most part. Libby is a little too abrasive at times, but she’s pretty crafty and it fits with her characterization.
The other books in this series do not need to be read to understand this book, though, there are some references to the other books that make more sense if they have been read.
Super fun read.
I absolutely loved this!! A small town romance, that’s also an enemies to lovers!
Hearts Edge will have you on the edge of your seats with this one!
Holt and Libby are complete opposites, yet they’re so perfect for each other.
This is another great book by Nicole Snow. No White Knight brings us back to the town of Hearts Edge. We meet Holt in No Damaged Goods.
Holt is from Heart’s Edge but moved to a bigger city. He’s back and trying to make a name for himself. Libby is a stubborn women dealing with the aftermath of her father dying, and trying to save her land. Holt is brought in by Libby’s sister Sierra. Sierra and her boyfriend are trying to get money from the sale of the house and want Holt to buy it.
In the beginning Holt is against Libby, but as time goes on, he realizes she’s trying to hide something and decides to help her. Feelings start to develop. Holt is known for his player ways, and Libby is more of a loner. I loved the chemistry between the two characters.

This is an enemies to lovers novel featuring Libby Potter, who lives on her family’s soon to be foreclosed ranch which has a deep secret, and Holt Silverton, a developer who wants to buy her ranch. These two characters share sizzling chemistry, humorous banter, intrigue, mystery, and romance. I highly recommend this book.

This book has a little of everything romance, mystery, intrigue, and even a lost ghost town. Our hero and heroine start as enemies, and they can verbally fight too. It really was only a form of sexual foreplay for them until they could admit an attraction to each other. They joined forces to figure how to save the ranch and information about the dead body in the ghost town. Then things with her sister got worse, it was terrible. They had to learn to lean on each other to make their relationship strong and dependable. It was a that I am sure you will enjoy.

I absolutely loved this series and was very excited when Holt got his own story. Holt was the town bad boy and screw up yet he has returned to Heart’s Edge to make amends. Libby is a tough as nails woman he’ll bent on protecting not only her family land but her daddy’s secret. No White Knight sees a return of the men we love the Heroes of Heart’s Edge and more drama and secrets the town is known for. I loved the character development in the story that made it enjoyable, suspenseful, and hard to put down. Libby and Holt each have things they need to work through yet despite all that, they find the courage to open their hearts to unforeseen possibilities, help, and are able to find forgiveness from themselves and for others. An exceptionally well written book that readers will fall in love with.

DNF – Like a bad silent film
After discovering Nicole Snow’s books last year I have been grabbing them as fast as she can write them. So I was excited to pick up No White Knight and loved the book description. Well that is as far as my love has gone with this book. When I actually started to dig into it I initially was not sure what was happening and then became aware that it was not what I had expected it was going to be about. I will admit that after a couple of chapters I skipped to closer to the end and it was then that it reminded me more of an old silent film with the heroine tied to the train tracks while the dastardly villain twirled his mustache as he he went about stealing her home. The jewel at the center of the story-line was just plain ridiculous and I could not buy in at all.
I thought Nicole’s writing was good it was just the story-line and the simplistic characters that I had a hard time with. So this is a disappointment to me but it has not put me off picking up and reading the next book by Nicole Snow. So for me this was a disappointment but I know that for others this will be a winner, as we readers have a lot of different tastes. If you have already discovered and love Nicole Snow’s writing then pick this book up and see if you like it. But if you have not discovered Nicole Snow’s books yet then I would suggest you try a different one first.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Liberty “Libby” Potter and Holt Silverton. Libby knows they want to buy her farm but there is no way she is selling. She will not even let her spiteful sister try and talk her into it. There is a secret she is keeping on this ranch and she will go to her grave protecting it. The one thing she didn’t plan on is Holt. Holt is back in Hart’s Edge and everyone still remembers him as the womanizing playboy. They don’t believe he has truly changed his ways. He even had a hard time convincing his brother and he helped sorta save his life. Holt wants to prove he has changed though and he believes working with his construction company to build back up the town is the way to do it. If only he wouldn’t lose his shirt if he doesn’t get Libby’s land in the process. Can two stubborn people find something they didn’t know they were looking for or will they let what they believe get in the way?
This book is amazing we met Holt in No Damaged Goods. This book is a stand alone but I recommend reading the entire series just so you don’t spoil any surprises. This book does have its ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will be another amazing roller-coaster you won’t want off of. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Love Nicole Snow and the Heart’s Edge series. The characters from the first books appear in the subsequent books while adding new interesting ones. Holt and Libby may be my favorites to date.
An intriguing romance read with the mystery and suspense that will have you flipping the pages until the end. Holt known for being a playboy doesn’t know what hits him when he meets fierce, sassy Libby. What happens next made for an entertaining enemies to lovers story that had enough drama and intense chemistry that will have you cheering for their HEA. With a great storyline and likable characters makes this newest release a must read in a series that doesn’t disappoint.
Always a great story from Nicole Knight! Heart’s Edge is always full of excitement and secrets and keeps you coming back for the next story set in this seemingly sweet and quite town.
Holt and Liberty gives us an awesome enemies to lovers read and Nicole Snow has given them the perfect hot and steamy chemistry that we look forward to in her books. They are complete opposites that certainly attract and with the suspenseful plot that we have come to love from Heart’s Edge, it just leaves you wanting more.
I’ve fallen for this town and all it’s mysteries and suspenseful happenings. Each of the characters brings emotion with their story and when they finally give in and fall in live, it’s hard, hot and heavy. I love what Nicole has done with this series and I can’t wait to see what she has in store next. Hope Sierra gets a story of her own. She deserves her HEA.

There’s so much to say and not one of those things is bad. It was a thrilling read full of intrigue and mystery. Full of bravery and sass. When Holt and Libby finally came together it was Sexy as sin and simply beautiful. It became so much more than just a simple enemies to lover romance. I couldn’t put it down and was saddened it ended, but it was a great ending with HEA.

I Savored This Like an All-Day Sucker
So often reviewers mention how they tore through a book at lightening speed because they were so engrossed in the story. This book, in fact this series, sort of had the opposite effect on me. I loved each word, each phrase, each moment with these characters so much I didn’t want to let go. I simply couldn’t read through these pages at warp speed–I wouldn’t let myself. I didn’t want to miss anything that happened in these epic little adventures (yeah, I know that was oxymoronic, but it’s still a truism).
Our dashing hero in this novel is the smarmy brother of Blake Silverton, Holt. You read that right. We first met up with Holt in Blake and Peace’s story, “No Damaged Goods.” It didn’t matter how the author described Holt’s physical appearance, I envisioned him as Joe Pesci’s character from the old Lethal Weapon movies because that’s what his personality was like. He was a slick talker that couldn’t be trusted, always looking to make a deal that would benefit him. He was flashy, savvy, quick-witted, and sly. Above all–he was not to be trusted. His brother Blake knew it, no matter what Holt kept telling him about turning over a new leaf, blah, blah, blah…
“One fine sunny day, I stepped out of my shiny car, looking to cut a big deal with a hellcat.”
Well, Holt Silverton. Meet Liberty Potter. A little spitfire of a woman who is not taken in by your charm, your big city ways, your smooth talk, or your fancy duds. She’s not just a firecracker on July 4th, this woman is the whole dang show. Don’t let the little package fool you–it’s chock full of dynamite on a short fuse, and Holt has no idea he’s one big spark. These two together are about the most combustible things since lightning met methane. But geez, are they fun. Whether they’re verbally sparring or lighting up the night with their sizzling heat, Liberty and Holt are pure lightening in a bottle.
If the story were just about the two of them, it would be great fun. But as usual, Nicole Snow writes an incredible novel around the firecracker and the lightening wrangler. Full of battered loyalties, dark revenge, decades-old secrets, and spooky local legends that have their roots in fact, this story spins out like a drunken wrangler spending all his wages at the saloon. What an incredible tale it is, too. By the time I finished my adventure with the heroes of Heart’s Edge I was well and truly satisfied. I was also very much in love with one Holt Silverton, who was so much more than the man I first read about in his brother’s love story. Wow.
This is an ARC review. This is a hard one for me to write. Usually I’m a huge fan of Nicole Snow’s books however, this book fell short for me. As hard as I tried I just couldn’t make myself identify with Libby. Holt was ok but again lacking somehow (maybe just for me). The entire book seemed redundant. Page after page of the same dialogue over and over, same steamy carnal sex scenes over and over with little variation and I lost count of how many trips we made to that ghost town. This was sort of like watching that old movie “Ground Hog Day”. Frankly I hope this is the last we see of Heart’s Edge. I don’t know how much more disaster this poor town can take…..or its citizens.
This is book 6 in the Heart’s Edge series and it features the Libby and Holt. When they first met they were like oil and water. He wanted to buy something she wasn’t willing to sell, her land. The more time he spent trying to convince her to sell, the more he wanted to help her save her ranch instead. Remember, this is the town of Heart’s Edge. Strange things happen here. Libby is dealing with her estranged sister, the bank, the taxman, a skeleton, swindlers, strange rocks, etc. Everyone wants a piece of her but no one more than Holt Silverton.
Though this is not my favorite in this series, it is still a highly entertaining read. Libby was a little difficult for me to relate to but Holt was fantastic. I love the character growth we see in Holt. He’s come a long way from the first time we met him. There’s always a lot going on in each of these Heart’s Edge stories but it is NEVER difficult to follow. I absolutely LOVE the extended epilogues this author gifts us with at the end of these stories!
