Award-winning author Kat Bastion teams with her husband, Stone Bastion, in this first book in the No Weddings Series about Cade Michaelson, a successful man with his sights set on a new venture in business, and Hannah Martin, the woman who makes it personal.
I think I have my act together as a successful bar owner, my master’s degree within reach, and a list of no-strings-attached women warming … no-strings-attached women warming my bed. Turns out, I don’t.
Hannah believes she has safeguarded her wounded heart by shunning men and focusing on her new baking business. The thing is, she hasn’t.
When my three sisters and I start a new event-planning business with Hannah as our baker, I have no idea how my life is about to change. As Hannah and I work closely together, the attraction between us becomes irresistible. And complicated. I’ve promised my sisters I wouldn’t mix business with pleasure. But I’ve never been one to follow the rules.

I absolutely loved Hannah and Cade. And their palpable attraction. I especially loved Hannah’s sassiness when interacting with Cade. Sassy heroines are my fave! Will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this Hannah/Cade series.
Would have given it a 5 but I don’t like cliff hangers!
No Weddings series, books 1-4 (story of Cade and Hannah)
No Weddings: Cade is a successful man with his sights on a new venture in business. Hannah makes it personal.
One Funeral: Hannah’s past is holding her back. Cade could help set her free.
Two Bar Mitzvahs: Cade strives to balance his and Hannah’s new relationship with the growing demands of his financial success.
Three Christmases: As the holidays approach, Cade strives to be better at balancing work and love. Hannah’s growing ability to trust is put to the test.
This is a wonderful romance. Things move very slowly, but their friendship and later romance make it worthwhile. It usually takes me 3-4 hours to read a book. These four took about 20 hours, but the authors did a fantastic job of making it interesting. Cade and Hannah had both been hurt. Case had more support than Hannah did, and he was more open to trying again. Cade’s relationship with his three sisters were entertaining. The sisters and Cade’s parents were open and loving, and that is just what Hannah needed. She made friends and became a happier person with Cade’s influence. She helped Cade to share more and put her before his job. This is an awesome story – loved it!
[There is one more book in this series: For Valentine’s is a 27,000 novellla.]
I don’t like books that leave me hanging. You force people to buy the next one.
Too slow and you have read another book to find out what happens to this couple.
The characters in this book were great. The romance between the main characters went along at a realistic pace.
I enjoyed this book. I did not want it to end.
This book was very good. Hard to put down.
Good easy read
If you like a great tease it’s an awesome book lol always keeping you on your toes to see what happens.
Written from a male perspective. Very original and interesting. The plot is a bit too heavy, though it represents real feelings.
I loved this book and it’s characters so much I had to read the whole series. The author was wonderful also I will always select a book from this author. Great book great entertainment good read
Purchased additional books in the series
To me it was very drawn out and incomplete. There was many times I skipped paragraphs and still understood everything. They way it was so drawn out I didn’t want to continue with the series . Book could have been shorter and still enjoyable.
Was a page turner until the end. It fell flat not creating the interest for the next book. Cute story every th good build up but it lacked the crave to see the couple through to the end.
Tried to get into this book and I just couldn’t get beyond the first couple pages
