New Western Romance Series from Bestselling Author Mary ConnealyWhen Cimarron ranch patriarch Chance Boden is caught in an avalanche, the quick actions of hired hand Heath Kincaid save him. Badly injured, Chance demands that his will be read and its conditions be enforced immediately. Without anyone else to serve as a witness, Heath is pressed into reading the will. If Justin, Sadie, and Cole … Justin, Sadie, and Cole Boden don’t live and work at home for the entire year, the ranch will go to their low-down cousin Mike.
Then Heath discovers the avalanche was a murder attempt, and more danger might follow. Deeply involved with the family, Heath’s desire to protect Sadie goes far beyond friendship. The danger keeps them close together, and their feelings grow until being apart is the last thing on their minds.

Mary Connealy is one of my most favorite authors. She writes historical fiction without overwhelming detail, tons of action, and a bit of spunk and humor that keep me engrossed in the story. I love the relationship between the brothers and Heath in this book. It’s authentic and quite humorous. Sadie has just enough lady-ness to satisfy them much of the time but also enough spunk to cause them concern and bring out their protective natures. With the mystery and danger at hand, it’s a winning combination.
No Way Up is a delightful story of a father’s attempt to make his adult children cooperate with each other! Cole, Justin and Sadie must all live and work full-time at the ranch or a distant cousin they dislike will inherit! Sadie is a feisty young lady who is used to doing as she pleases. Cowhand Heath is a strong male protagonist who has his eye on Sadie even though her brothers object to the match! Sadie and Heath believe someone shot at her father from a mesa they believed unclimbable! You will enjoy this story as Sadie and Heath attempt to find a way up the mesa! I recommend this historical fiction to others. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.
As always, Mary delivers a great story.
I enjoyed this book It kept me entertained and trying to figure out this who done it from beginning to end . Well written.
.
I really like her style of writing. It has a plot and love the way she makes me laugh while I am reading it.
Loved this book. Great story.
Good read
Loved seeing the relationship building between the family and the ranchhands as the siblings step up to take care of the ranch. while their circumstances are tough they are forced to look at themselves and their relationships in order to grow. Loved the mix of old drama and new as well as the relationship with the land.
If you like the old westerns, like Roy Rogers, Hop a Long Cassidy, you will enjoy this story. Set in New Mexico, near the Mexican border Chance Boden makes a last effort to get his children to learn to work together. Couple that with a near death accident (or was it) and into the mix a young cowboy who is sweet on the daughter and you get a pretty good story.
I enjoyed it. Great story telling, no gratuitous ativity of any kind. You could almosr forget it is Christian fiction.
This third book of the series was a fun conclusion and a happily ever after. It is a light read, with some fun, but also action. An enjoyable read.
It was a good mystery with an interesting story.
It was a good Western romantic and mystery book.
Excellent author who keeps you glued to your device until the final screen. Believable characters and situations that tug on your heartstrings. It was fun to escape into this old-west world of bad guys and good guys and the triumph of family.
I loved it!
This was a very entertaining book combining romance, mystery, and action. I really enjoyed it.
Loved this book. I am not usually much on historical fiction, but this was great. Easy reading, but very interesting. Well developed characters with both action and romance.
I love this author!! Excellent mix of mystery and real life. She is so funny!!
Sadie, Cole, and Justin are basically tied to the family ranch for a year when their father changes his will. When their father is hurt in a rock slide, Heath (a ranch hand) has enough first aid experience to clean out and set the compound fracture in his leg. While their mother rushes their father to Denver to see a doctor with more skill, the grown children have to hold down the ranch. Heath, heavily crushing on Sadie, realizes that all the “accidents” on the ranch are really someone trying to take out the owners one by one. As he and Sadie try and climb the impossible mesa to gain clues about their would be assassins, Heath realizes that he is falling for the boss’s daughter. As they attempt to unravel three generations of family drama over their ranch, will they get a happily ever after? 🙂 Well I was thrilled, so Happy Reading!!
