There is no denying that Stephanie Rose is one of my favorite authors. She has the ability to suck me in with her words, and her characters become like family to me. This is also true when it comes to No Vacancy. Having read about when Joe was born in Always You, and we had a bit of him in Finding Me, I already felt like I knew enough about him. That so wasn’t the case!
Caterina just had an awful day. She walked into her apartment and caught her boyfriend cheating. On her brand-new couch. Needless to say, she decides that she wants to get away early for her girls’ vacation and heads down to the Jersey Shore by herself. After checking into the motel, she goes across the street to the little bar and pub, where she meets Joe, the owner of the restaurant. Their chemistry is instantaneous. But living three hours apart while having demanding jobs makes things just that much more complicated for them.
I loved Joe. I loved Joe and his dirty mouth! I loved how attentive he was with Caterina, and how he did not shy away from his feelings. I loved Caterina as well. She reminded me of myself in many ways. I loved how she really found herself through her relationship with Joe.
No Vacancy was just what I needed. Stephanie Rose’s writing is, as always, done well. She creates characters that you can’t help but love and always feel real. I can’t say enough how much I love No Vancancy. I definitely will be rereading this one again and again!
Boy did No Vacancy warm my heart! A chance meeting due to unexpected events, a whirlwind vacation and falling in unforseen love made for an exciting read! Through all the quirkiness, Joe and Catrina meshed well! Stephanie Rose has outdone herself! Fantastic book!!
No Vacancy by Stephanie Rose was a well written heart warming story that held my interest from beginning to end. This insta love romance was steamy and sweet, filled with romance and no drama.
I loved seeing how Joe and Catarina’s relationship blossomed from friendship to something more. These two were well-developed, fun and relatable and you will enjoy their story about finding love when you least expect it. It will have you sighing and swooning and give you all the feels. No Vacancy was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance
Such a good story! Joe is sooooo swoony! Loved his character! And I loved Caterina’s character too! These two were perfect for each other! This has a good storyline with awesome characters, has your sweet and your sizzle! Everything you need!
Words can’t describe how much I loved Caterina & Joe’s story! Stephanie Rose knows how to deliver one amazing story with characters that captivated me from the first page to the last!
I loved loved loved Joe and wish he was real! I adored Caterina too! Joe & Caterina were like two puzzle pieces that just fit so well together. Caterina & Joe had great banter & chemistry.
I don’t want to leave these characters & their world behind! I can’t wait for Dom’s story!!
I voluntary reviewed this book.
No Vacancy by Stephanie Rose

Outstanding!! What a brilliant, hot, steamy, sexy, and heartwarming romance! Loved it!! Captivated my interest from the outstanding cover to the very end! Very well written! Love the characters.
“Gotta love tourists. Bake in the sun all day, and drink all night.”
“Maybe we didn’t have it all figured out yet. But I knew, without a doubt, nothing would ever be better than this. Better than us.”
Highly recommend! Very entertaining!

I loved this book from the first page to the last! Joe and Caterina’s story was beautifully written and heartfelt. Their chemistry was off the charts hot! This was a great read.
Cat heads out of town to start her vacation early after catching her man cheating on her. She doesn’t expect to meet a sweet & gorgeous guy while trying to figure out her next steps. But Joe comes crashing in her life, and once they both acknowledge their growing feelings for each other, they decide to act on what they feel & see where it goes. But what happens when vacation time is over? Joe has a business to run & Cat doesn’t live there. Can they make the long distance relationship work?
This was a sweet, second chance read about a guy focused on his business & a girl who is finally doing something fun for herself instead of working. The distance takes a toll on their relationship, and they have to figure out if what they have is worth saving. Looking forward to Dominic’s book next!
I’ve been waiting for this read. Such a good book

Can a summer fling become a love of a lifetime???
That is the question Stephanie Rose answers in her latest novel No Vacancy.
This is a love story that is swoony, sexy and overall heartwarming. It gave me the warm fuzzies while reading it. I melted everytime Joe opened his mouth. He was the perfect mix of swoon and dirty 😉
When I started this book I just thought it was a standalone novel by Stephanie, but that was until I got Joe’s full name and the mention of his parents. That’s when I realized this was a spin-off to Always You. Joe is the son of Lucas and Sam from that book. He is all grown up now and I loved him just as much as when we got to know him more in his sister’s book Finding Me. I was actually hoping Stephanie would write a story for him and I am so glad she did…..this was so worth it!! I loved Joe and Caterina’s story.
Now even though I stated that Joe is introduced to us in the other two books, you by no means have to read those books before reading this one. This is a complete standalone novel. This story is told in Dual POV and I thought that even though this is pretty much an insta-love story, it totally worked for them and their storyline. I thought the flow and pace of the story was perfect. This was true what a romance novel should be like. It was low on angst and drama, you could just cuddle up with a cozy blanket and feel their love through the pages.
As I said this book is the story of Joe and Caterina. Joe is the son of Lucas and Sam from Always You. He is all grown up now and has moved away from home to take a chance on his dreams of owning his own business. He has a pretty successful pub in a tourist town. Pretty wrapped up in the business, Joe has put his personal life on hold and focused on building the restaurant. Caterina is a recently single woman, who walked in on her boyfriend with another woman, devastated and angry, she packs up and leaves for her vacation a couple days early. Little did she know stopping in the local restaurant and ordering mozzarella sticks would change her life. Joe and Caterina have an instant connection and form an instant bond. But what happens when her vacation is over and she has to go back home?? Can they make a long distance thing work?? Can these two workaholics find a balance and re-evaluate their lives? Can they find their HEA?? Read this romantic love story to find out.
I have loved every book Stephanie Rose has released and this was no different. Each book I read from her just reaffirms why she is an auto-read for me. I would recommend every one of her books to all romance readers. She gives us wonderful characters and storylines, that suck her readers in every single time. Don’t miss out on this author’s work. Her books need to be on the top of your TBR list.
I’ve recently discovered this author and I am really enjoying her books! Even if you haven’t read her Second Chances series yet, you can read this one as a standalone. This book was a fun, flirty romantic story that will take you on a journey, one that will definitely leave you with butterflies and a smile on your face. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Caterina & Joe and how their relationship progressed throughout the story. I was sad to see the book end!
Caterina walks in on her cheating boyfriend and leaves town to go on an early vacation to try and catch a break. Before her friends get there, she spends a few days alone in a motel room trying to catch up with work but also to try and put some perspective to everything going on in her life. Looking back on the last few years, she starts to realise that she hasn’t been happy and just moved with the motion. When she first meets Joe, there’s an instant spark between them that both can’t seem to deny. Even though she plans everything she does carefully, she never expected that a stranger could make her feel all the things she’s feeling. Every step she takes makes her fall even deeper but something inside her makes her take a step back although the pull between them keeps getting stronger… Joe seems to have everything he wants in life but he never thought he’d fall instantly for someone he just met but some things you just can’t help and it just feels right. But will he be able to make Caterina see that, when she returns back home, their growing love is something worth fighting for even with the distance between them?…
No Vacancy is a fast paced, instalove, second chance story.
Restaurant owner Joe has been working hard to keep his business thriving, but the moment his eyes set on Caterina, he feels such a intense attraction towards her. Work achoholic Caterina is taking her first vacation in years, and meeting Joe was not in her plan. I liked Joe and Caterina, they were so good together. Secondary characters were good too. I enjoyed every minute reading it.
I have a new book boyfriend and his name is Joe Hunter and he is all mine. I mean seriously, how much more amazing can a guy be?
This book gave me so many happy and loving feels. I read it after a really bad week at work and it was the perfect escape.
Catarina and Joe are both workaholics trying to prove to their parents and the world that they can succeed on their own. They neither have room for outside distractions like dating (even through Catarina had a live in boyfriend). But when they meet it’s like they were always meant to be and they need each other.
While there is a tiny bit of angst with their long distance relationship, this really is just a beautiful story of finding your “one” and doing all you can to make it work. I highly recommend this book.
4.5 “You had me at mozzarella sticks” Stars
I am filled with so many warm and fuzzy feelings after finishing this sweet book.
Caterina and Joe stole my heart. It’s apparent from their first encounter that they have a connection. Their attraction is undeniable and their chemistry is electric. Things may have started off fast and fall under the instalust/instalove category, but still it didn’t feel rushed—everything felt smooth and moved seamlessly. Caterina and Joe took time and got to know each other and realized what they have is more than a summer fling. These two felt real to me—the issues they face are realistic and understandable. And it was so easy to root for them.
No Vacancy is low on the angst and drama. It’s filled with sweet, sexy and ‘aww’ moments. You can’t help but fall for Caterina and a very dirty talking Joe (seriously, so hot) I enjoyed their story and journey very much. I also enjoyed meeting this new cast of characters in Ocean Cove. I’m also so excited that Dominic will be getting his own story. I can’t wait to return to The Beach Pub and reunite with my faves.
This was my first Stephanie Rose book but it definitely won’t be the last! I loved how she just sucked me in from the very first moment and I just couldn’t put it down. I loved seeing Cat’s journey. Seeing her learn about herself and what risks she can finally take. And Joe. He was so perfect for Cat. I loved every interaction between them! 5 stars!!
No Vacancy is the kind of book that makes you want to sit down with your favorite drink, get real comfy and luxuriate in the swoon that is Cat & Joe!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Stephanie Rose is the Queen of perfecting the quintessential book boyfriend and if it’s even possible I fell for Joe quicker than my last Rose hero! Just a few chapters in and he had me!
Responsible, straight laced, workaholic Caterina Longo is having a really bad day, she just walked in on her boyfriend in THEIR apartment, on HER new couch doing the unspeakable with someone else. Rather then dealing with Trent’s cheating ass at that moment she takes off and heads to a small beach town, Ocean Cove…..she and her girlfriends are meeting there in a few days for vacation anyway so why not head there early.
Checking into the Anchor Motel is easy enough so she ventures across the street to The Beach Pub for something to eat and for reliable WiFi, that’s where she meets the owner Joe Hunter. Now, coming off of a devastating situation back home you would think Cat would be closed off but her heart hasn’t received that message yet because the attraction between she and Joe is INSTANT! They have one of those nights you only hear about, where the conversation never stops, the chemistry just flows, a glance and a simple touch feels highly charged and leads to one unforgettable night and you come out of it knowing the other person was meant to be in your life.
Sweet, sensible, and dependable Joe doesn’t have much time on his hands and even less time for dating. He puts all of his energy into running his business but even he can’t deny the pull he has towards Cat, it’s all consuming and it’s a feeling he refuses to let go of no matter what obstacles they may face.
Get ready for an off the charts steamy romance with a hero that is incredibly sweet BUT will definitely have you blushing and fanning yourself over the dirty things that come out of his luscious lips! No Vacancy is the perfect escape to get lost in, Stephanie Rose delivers the heat, swoon and delicious romance you’ve come to know her for. You won’t be able to put these two down!
No Vacancy was a really sweet romance. I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while now.
When Katarina walks in on her boyfriend of two years cheating on her, she leaves for her vacation early. This is the first vacation she’s going on in a long time since she’s a workaholic. She arrives at her beach destination a few days before her friends. She meets Joe at his restaurant across the street from her hotel. Their chemistry is immediate, undeniable and something neither have ever felt before. Both have so many self-imposed obstacles. Will they see what’s obvious and be together?
This book was a little slow for my angst-loving heart. Many will love its pace. I did love Katarina and Joe. I listened to this audiobook and David Vaughn and Rita Fleur did an incredible job. This is my honest opinion, freely given.
This was a really good read. I enjoyed getting to see Joe and Caterina make their relationship work. Nothing is impossible as long as you put the work into it.
This is a book that will appeal to all romance lives, it’s a heartwarming romance filled with love and emotion. I love this authors style of writing and I have to say this is one of my favourite reads by the very talented Stephanie Rose because I not only loved the storyline, I also fell hard and fast for Caterina and Joe and I found myself wishing and hoping they got the happiness they both deserved. No Vacancy is part of the Second Chances World but like all the previous books it can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone.
Walking in on her cheating husband has Catarina taking off for a solo vacation to sort her life out what she didn’t expect was to meet a seriously hot man who was going to take over her mind. It was only meant to be a summer fling to make her fill good again but who could forget Joe and his dirty mouth. A couple who both have issues to resolve become stronger together…..
This is a light hearted read but it took over my life and I really didn’t want it to end, I was captivated and intrigued on how Catarina and Joe would play out, I laughed at the witty banter, I sighed and swooned but what really blew me away was the fact I escaped the real world while wrapped up in this couple. Great read that I highly recommend.
This book is a very cushy insta love story .
Really one for those that don’t like any angst , and enjoy a lot of fluff in a book.
Cat and Joe meet one night and it is very much love at first sight , cat isn’t sure because she just ended a relationship after getting cheated on and she’s a workaholic so she blames herself and Joe’s usually a workaholic too so they are a great lot theirs . Their biggest issue is that she is only on vacation and loves 3 hours away and they have to figure out if they want to make that work or not .
I’ll be honest I didn’t like the story line and I got bored and skipped bits here and there – there really is a lot of FLUFF – but it is well written and edited
