Monique McDonell brings us a story with romance, humor, interesting characters and a few secrets. This was an enjoyable book.
I thoroughly enjoyed No Time For Trouble. Mal is a keeper for sure – even if it took Marnie a while to figure it out. I love all the book sin this series. They have been such fun. This is another well written, clean, sweet, fake boyfriend romance with southern charm. Don’t miss it!
Marnie and Mal.
A fun, light read. A fake fiancé who wants to be the real deal.
Enjoyed.
This is one of my favorites in The No Brides Club series. Monique McDonell knows how to create characters you love and a book you cannot put down. I really liked Marnie and how she still had her southern charm even though she had lived in LA and currently lived in New York City. Marnie felt liked she had to prove to everyone in her family and to herself that she was successful. This was because she never seemed to live up to her mom’s expectations so of course she invented a boyfriend to go with her back to Tennessee for her sister’s engagement party. Mal was that fake boyfriend only he really liked Marnie and wanted to date her but she was a member of the No Brides Club and did not have time for dating. I really enjoyed Mal’s plans to win Marnie’s love. It made such a fun, enjoyable story. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review. I also want to read more books by this author.
Marnie needs a fake boyfriend and she ask Mal to come to her little tonw for her sister engagement’s party. Can mal change Marnie heart and give them a chance to be together. A sweet Love story
I think this was my favorite No Brides Club book! Mal was by far the best boyfriend of them all! Even though he was a billionaire, he didn’t act like one! He has a job and works hard, he doesn’t flash around money, he acts like a “regular person”, and although he hasn’t had a “normal” upbringing, he longs for the usual wife & kids! Marnie has had enough of the weird/bad dates. She grew up in a small town where her family was prominent and SHE was the one who didn’t fit it plus her mom constantly made her feel that way. She’s done trying to please everyone so she’s just going to be her own person! I loved her independent spirit – Mal loves it too! He’s going to show her that he loves her but patiently because he doesn’t want to scare her off! This couple was fantastic! I loved when Mal went to meet Marnie’s parents! He was awesome! I totally recommend this book!
Sweet story that has puppies in it!! Humorous parts that had me laughing. Joy to read
Mal and Marnie are a great couple. Even though they come from different backgrounds they are very similar in personality. I think they are my favourite couple of the No Brides Club series. Mal is the perfect boyfriend, he is sweet and thoughtful and wants Marnie to be happy.
I adored this book. The story line was emotional and very sweet. While I thought that Marnie and Mal were both incredible likable characters, Mal was really a top-tier book boyfriend. Talk about heart stealing and swoon worthy! When this guy finally got his chance with Marnie he was 100% committed, wasn’t afraid to do the work and had a pretty awe inspiring master plan. This is an amazing romance that will melt your heart, lighten your spirits and just make you feel good.
