A delightful friends to lovers tale that combines two of my favourite things: love and food!
Georgie and Liam are such fabulous characters. I began rooting for both of them from the beginning of the book. As the novel is written in the third person, we have the opportunity to understand how and why Georgie and Liam make the decisions they do, even if their decisions may be designed to sacrifice their own happiness for the sake of the other. Full of sweet romantic longing, the book tugs on heartstrings from the first page to the last.
Six friends make a pact not to let love interfere with their careers. Love may just come at the wrong time and how will they deal with it? Will. They break the pact? Will it break their friendship apart? See if they love regardless of the pact

I purchased a copy of the clean novel No Time for Regrets (The No Brides Club Book 12) by Karen McCullough and this review was given freely.
A finding love and healing when not looking romance. This novel includes a slice of New York life involving unsafe low rent housing,Julie’s former paralegal cousin, college student and Beckley’s Cafe waitress Samantha “Sam” Dennis and widowed attorney Matthew R. Sentori.
The fourth in the No Brides Club series is a great friends to lovers romance. Georgie and Liam have been friends since they were kids and finally realise just how good they are together as more than just friends. The chemistry between these two is great and I loved Georgie’s dog. This story has lots of emotions and you may need tissues toward the end.
It’s always hard to go from best friends to something more! Who makes the first move? How do you know if what you are feeling is more than friendship? Will it last? Will the friendship be ruined if things don’t work out? All these things are going through the minds of Georgie and Liam as they are now adults because they grew up in a trailer park as children and Liam pretty much sacrificed everything for Georgie so she could get her shot at getting out of the trailer park and reach stardom in her teens. Liam was such a good guy and I was a little perturbed with Georgie that she never saw all these things that Liam did for her for years. Georgie was the epitome of workaholic and that’s why she is in the No Brides Club. She doesn’t have time for a relationship! She can’t say no to anything. Liam has his own issues too though but he’s more balanced. I really liked him. I good book and a great story!
I found this to be a superb storyline that grabs you right from the start keeping you engrossed and on edge throughout the whole book!
Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well. The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting.
Add in drama and sweet romance and you have a good read.
No cliffy, no cheating.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A great read, you will fall in love with the characters from the get go, the storyline was well written and keeps you hooked from beginning to end.
This was a good read. Liam and Georgie have known each other since they were young. Both of them have been in love with each other for a long time. However, neither has said anything. After tragedy strikes they both have the guts to finally get what they both always wanted.
(I have voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.)
No Time for Temptation (No Brides Club, Book 4) by Monique McDonell
Georgie and Liam are childhood friends and neither one knew that both liked one another.
Liam had a troubled childhood. Georgie was his best friend. His safe place. Then she had an audition that changed her life and it separated them for years.
Georgie’s apartment gets flooded. Liam moves to New York. They end up moving in together. And it’s from there that they both let their feelings resurface and grow for one another!
In the end, they realize that they are meant to be.
This was a very cute story!
Liam and Georgie’s story may be my favorite one so far in the No Brides Club series. This is another sweet love story of a career-minded woman who is not looking for love, discovering she may not be able to avoid it forever. Though these books have a common theme, the stories continue to be as unique as the woman they feature.
A captivating, sweet beautiful romance story. Nicely described characters. A well-written book, I enjoyed reading. It was a pleasure to review.
No Time for Temptation by Monique McConell is book 4 of The No Brides Club series. This series is a fascinating and enjoyable set of stories about six female friends who commit to their careers and not marrying. This is Georgie’s and Liam’s tale of their lifelong friendship. There are many ups and downs with both of them leading their own life, dating others and sometimes living with someone else. Both were attracted to the other but they never talked about it. Can they work it out to find their true love? Read this wonderful book to find out!
I found this story to be a very enjoyable read. An amazingly attention grabber with great characters, details and depth kept your interest and totally engaged throughout really well
This book kept me reading till the very end.
I loved how the charactrs grew and interacted all through the book.
Tapioca was a great part of the book.
This series is great and the author knows how to present all the right ingredients for an awesome read.
The fourth book out of six in the No Brides Club series. What a sweet story this is. Georgie and Liam both grew up poor in a trailer park but they didn’t let that hold them back. They both went on to make something of their lives, Georgie runs cirles around the competition in the television and cooking crew and Liam is a famous executive. She can not say no to any extra work she is given no matter how exhausted she becomes but she seems to be able to say no to Mr. Temptation as her friends call him. I loved the dog in the story, Tapioca. So sweet, a dog or cat always makes a story better. It was fun reading the sweet interaction between Georgie and Liam.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book. Thank you. All opinions expressed are my own.
This book tells the story of Georgie and Liam, who have been friends since childhood.
Liam has been in love with Georgie since childhood, but he hid his feelings as he helped her overcome her fears and become a successful young woman.
As adults, Liam is a successful businessman and Georgie has her own TV program, and when they are forced to share the same roof, their feelings deepen.
Both are afraid to give a chance to what they feel and ruin their friendship, but over time, they realize that their attraction and feelings are too strong to ignore.
I really enjoyed seeing Georgie’s friends in this story, and how the author managed to demonstrate all the insecurities of the characters.
I loved the story and I’m anxious for the next book in this series.
