No Time for Lullabies is a heart warming, clean romance with some wonderful characters and a great plot. Small town lovers have a disastrous end to their relationship. Melody leaves town and becomes a famous songwriter, singer and musician. Brody returns to their small town after becoming a pediatrician. They meet again when Melody returns for her cousin Trish’s funeral. Melody’s surprise inheritance will bring these to former lovers back together again. You do not want to miss their journey.
I simply loved all the books by Sydney Logan that I’ve read, and with that it was no different. The author presents us with a story full of love, second chances and some twists.

Brody and Melody will enjoy the second chance that life is giving them, or will Brody have his heart broken again?
I loved the story and the characters. I’m really enjoying this series and I highly recommend the reading.
I love reading this series so far and look forward to reading the next one. This story goes through every emotion, love, hate, fear, laughter, crying. I couldn’t put it down. The two main characters are relatable and the problem realistic. It is a sweet romance so no sex scenes. Sometimes that is all I need.
I thoroughly enjoyed this great book
Tragedy becomes a welcome call. Melody Mitchell followed her dreams and became a success, but she lost pieces of herself along the way. When grief brings her home surprises await. A broken heart, her first love and a baby have her rethinking what’s really important. In life and love. No Time for Lullabies pulls at the heartstrings. Logan keeps it simple with love, laughter and a second chance at happily ever after.
This was the second book, but again can read as a stand-alone. It’s a Wonderful book thoroughly enjoyable. I didn’t put it down and read it from beginning to end
Childhood sweethearts, separated by their dreams, are reunited years later when a baby needs a home. Good story. I received an ARC of this book.
No Time for Lullabies is the second installment from the exciting series No Brides Club. I loved, loved, loved this book. Melody was not a character I cared for in the beginning. That is, until she instantly became a mother to orphaned Macy and has to start interacting with the baby girl’s doctor. Dr Brody Myers just so happen to be Melody’s ex from many years prior. I loved their chemistry together and loved how Melody begins to change. I am giving heart warming story a well deserved five plus stars. Sydney Logan has earned herself a new fan!
I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
Sydney Logan has done it again! No Time for Lullabies is a beautiful second chance story of Melody and Brody. Meeting again years after they part, the love they felt before is still there. After losing her unborn baby with Brody Myers over ten years and being told she had a slim chance of carrying a baby to term, songwriter Melody Mitchell thought she’d never be a mother. But then her cousin Trish dies in a car accident and leaves guardianship of her infant daughter Macy to Melody. Melody’s life is in NYC with her recording studio and No Bride’s Club friends. She never expected to want to return Meadow Creek potentially for good and to the love of her life Brody. This was a sweet second chance romance. I felt for Melody not being able to have a child and deciding what was best for Macy and where she could change her single hardworking life for a baby. Pediatrician Brody was so sweet and sexy and loved Melody and Macy so much. I can’t wait for the next installment in the series.
I’d never heard of this author before I learned of this series, but after reading this story, I am definitely interested in looking up more of her work!
I loved how realistic this story was! I think Melody had a perfectly reasonable reaction to what happened as a teenager, and her insecurity was extremely well founded. Brody was a little too pushy for my tastes, but I could again see someone also reacting the way he had to the circumstances. I loved how Melody wound up stepping up, and felt that her hesitation was definitely warranted, even with Grown Up Brody’s still pushy nature. Melody’s parents were a little too smothering for me, and I was slightly disappointed that we didn’t get to see anything of Brody’s parent’s current nature.
I liked how smoothly the story flowed together, despite the shorter length of it. I wasn’t lost at all, and felt like we got a complete and fulfilling story. It definitely kept me entertained! I also think it was better than the previous book in the series! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the series!
Melody left Meadow Creek ten years ago with a broken heart. Now she has to come back for her cousin funeral and a few surprises awaits her. Can she have the love of her life back and find happiness in her hometown again, leaving behind New York and her dream Job? A sweet love story
This is a special series. I received an ARC copy of both of the first two books in this series and they have both been wonderful stories. I am awaiting the next book in this series. I hope that it continues to live up to the first two. This is well worth the price if you enjoy sweet romances. They are well written and heart -warming.
A second great book in the No Brides Club series. Who could not resist songs, babies, and a second-chance love. Songwriter, Melody, left home after tragedy struck but now she is back home due to another tragedy. Melody is now guardian to an infant. Dr. Brody Myers, Melody’s former love, is back home himself, as the town pediatrician. When Melody takes the baby to the doctor, Melody and Brody face each other again. Melody has many decisions to make between her career, an infant, and a love she has never forgotten. Ms. Logan has written a book about love, tough choices, and second chances. Loved this book – great sweet read!
No Time for Lullabies is a short and sweet romance that I enjoyed reading. Brody and Melody fell in love when they were 8 years old. As teenagers they conceived a baby that Melody miscarried. After that she left and hadn’t seen Brody for 10 years. I liked both characters, but Brody’s faithfulness to his love and willingness to forgive were exceptional. The one thing that I didn’t like was that he did not consider the sex outside of marriage as wrong. For that reason, I would recommend this to sweet romance readers, not to clean and wholesome or Christian romance readers. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
Beautifully written story of mistakes in life and second chances in love. This one stirred more emotions in me than usual. I got mad, laughed, cried, and felt emotionally charged many times as I read. Couldn’t put it down! Lovely read, don’t miss this one!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I liked the idea of her profession. Not the run of the mill housewife.
I highly recommend it.
