I purchased a copy of the clean novel No Time for Regrets (The No Brides Club Book 12) by Karen McCullough and this review was given freely.
A finding love and healing when not looking romance. This novel includes a slice of New York life involving unsafe low rent housing,Julie’s former paralegal cousin, college student and Beckley’s Cafe waitress Samantha “Sam” Dennis and widowed attorney Matthew R. Sentori.
I’m so frustrated when I get to the end of a book and I just don’t know what to say about it, or even quite how I feel. I enjoyed this book. I liked the story. I adored the animals that populated the supporting cast. I just wasn’t swept away by the romance between Kinsley and Dylan. It’s very sweet and I had a lot of fun watching them get to know one another. I guess my issue is that I didn’t really feel the connection between the pair. I’m not sure I got to know either of them very well. There’s lots of things I wish I understood better from their backgrounds that were left hazy. I also think that for all the miscommunications they had, their happy ever after ending felt a little rushed.
This was my first time reading anything by Raine English. I thought it was well written and had a great storyline. The characters were high school sweethearts but things happened. They do get a second chance at love. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
No Time for Love by Raine English is the debut of the No Brides Club series. Kinsley King is a top realtor in Manhattan and a member of the No Brides Club. The women in the group meet each week and have pledged to not let love get in the way of their careers. Kinsley gets a call from a lawyer telling her that her aunt has passed away and she has inherited Wild Forever, the animal sanctuary. Kinsley plans on selling the three hundred acre sanctuary until she spends time there fixing up the house. Dylan Reese is the manager of the animal sanctuary who loves his job and home. Despite his best intentions, Dylan finds himself attracted to Kinsley. Kinsley begins to wonder about her life choices. Will Kinsley be singing a different tune about love and marriage? No Time for Love is an entertaining story. Kinsley is a high-end realtor who lives in a fancy apartment and wears name brand designer clothes. Dylan Reese wears jeans and boots for mucking about the animal sanctuary. These two opposites find themselves attracted to each other. No Time for Love is a book that will have you laughing. I just love books that make you smile and laugh. I liked the characters and the setting of this story. The beautiful Victorian home that Kinsley inherited was getting a facelift. The descriptions allowed me to visualize the scenes in my head (I wanted to move into this house). No Time for Love is a delightful story with an abundance of animals, wearying work, renovation realities and sizzling sparks.
This is good, city girl gets a reminder of the peaceful country life. Neither character has time for love and seem to be content in that until the come face to face with their instant attraction. Both characters are a bit stubborn or in denial. I enjoyed reading how that get to know one another, he’s very convincing yet not pushy when showing her that life doesn’t only revolve around the city but can be exciting even in the country. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What can be better than a wealthy young woman, living in New York, living the high life suddenly inheriting a…..wildlife sanctuary??? That’s about as far from Kinsley’s wheelhouse as anything can be! Her beloved aunt dies and leaves her the sanctuary but she’s a very successful realtor in NYC and a member of the No Brides Club who are women that decide they aren’t going to get married but rather focus on their careers. As Kinsley tries to deal with the sanctuary, she must deal with Dylan, the sanctuary manager. They are total opposites but what is it they say….opposites attract??? I loved both of these characters! They are so different but each of them fill a need for the other, whether they know it or not. My only complaint? It wasn’t long enough and I wanted more! I definitely recommend it!
It was a bit predictable, but that’s not a bad thing… the journey is where the fun is.
There’s a bit of adventure, coincidence, and a HEA.
This is a fun read. Kinsley is the typical workaholic city girl and Dylan is a more laid back country boy, he works hard but he enjoys his job and has time for life as well. These two meet and while they try to deny their feelings sometimes things are just meant to be. They disagree about what should happen with the sanctuary but eventually they find the right path. Throw in a fun group of girls who do not want to get married, a lot of really cute animals, a few misadventures and you find love can win the day. This is the first book of this series.
I have been provided with a copy of No Time For Love by the Sweet Promise Press for an impartial review. This is the first book in the brand new The No Brides Club series that is written by several amazing authors. I just absolutely fell in love with this story and getting to go on the journey with these new characters was just fantastic. This book was just so easy to get lost in I just didn’t want to put it down. It just captures your attention. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this series.
The first book in the The No Brides Club and I know I want to read more of this series. A group of women friends get together in a No Brides Club where the women believe that can not have a mix a relationship and a successful careers. I enjoyed reading Kinsley King and Dylan Reese’s story and seeing how they get their happy ending.

Epilogue
I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Six women make a pact to build their careers and no husbands. Of course true love comes when and where you least expect it. Believable characters and realistic storylines. Enjoyed he animal sanctuary also.
Finding Love
Kingsley was part of a group of friends that would out their careers first and being bride’s & mother’s second. She runs King Reality and just sold a penthouse and was celebrating with the ladies when she got the call her aunt Cora died. She was going to have to figure out to do about the animal sanctuary she inherited. And then there is Dylan the manager with the house and 3 acres right in the middle. A lot of decisions to be made.
Kinsley and her friends have sworn off men, opting instead to become successful in their careers and stay faithful friends. Then, devastating news comes and informs Kinsley of a family loss. She is suddenly the owner of an animal sanctuary and finds herself at odds with helping the sanctuary and her glamorous life in New York as a high powered real estate agent.
When she goes up to make the arrangements for the sanctuary, she immediately is flooded with memories from when she was a child. She enjoys seeing all the animals and meeting the employees, especially the manager in charge, handsome Dylan Reese. All of the employees are fearful of what Kinsley is going to decide regarding the sanctuary. Dylan sets out to prove to her what a wonderful place the sanctuary is and how much it means to the employees and the community. From there, the story shows Kinsley’s battle on what to do regarding her inheritance.
This is not my usual genre, but I was intrigued by the animal aspect, since I am a huge animal lover. The story was good, innocent and refreshing compared to a lot of what is out there, but extremely predictable. However, I did enjoy this and think others will, too.
I loved this story and the characters.
When six friends make a pact not to let love get in the way of their careers, the No Brides Club is born.
Kinsley King lives for her career and is successful at what she does. But when her aunt dies and she inherits a wildlife sanctuary in the middle of nowhere, She has to decide what to do with the place, should she sell and maintain her lifestyle, or should she honor her aunt’s last request?
Dylan Reese works at the sanctuary and loves his lifestyle, but when the owner dies and leaves the place for her niece, he will have to decide whether to stay in the place or abandon everything.
When they meet, though opposites, the attraction between them is huge. As Kinsley begins to work with the animals, she begins to see things a little differently.
I loved the story and the message it passes, as well as the characters. I recommend the reading.
I really enjoyed this fun first book in the No Brides Club series. It is a cute idea for a series and this book by Raine English kept me intrigued to find out how the story would end. I think it is one of Raine’s best books! Throw in a sexy manger of the Forever Wild sanctuary and sparks will fly. Also add animals, and the No Brides Club that meets every week and you have a fun, interesting story you will not be able to put down!
I really enjoyed No Time For Love, book one on the No Brides Club series. The No Brides Club consists of 6 smart, successful women who feel their careers leave them no time for love and romance. This first book is the story of Kinsley King, a very successful New York City real estate agent, and Dylan Reese, who lives in and oversees a 300 acre wildlife sanctuary formerly owned by Kinsley’s aunt and now bequeathed to Kinsley. These two are attracted to each other despite being city girl/country boy. Dylan introduces Kinsley to the town, its people and the animals. Kinsley is sure she cannot live in the country and she knows Dylan will not go to the city. You will have to read this book to see if they can work things out. If you like clean romance and opposites attract, I highly recommend this book.
This is a good clean read. Interesting story. Would highly recommend reading.
