When six friends make a pact not to let love get in the way of their careers, the No Brides Club is born. But could meeting the right man at the wrong time cause them to break their vows to each other?Ava Lewis can take care of herself. That’s what she’s been determined to prove to herself, and her well meaning, but sometimes overbearing family, her entire life. And now that she’s been … provisionally accepted into NYU’s law school, she’s on her way to making all of her dreams come true. But in order to afford these dreams, she has to make ends meet. And she gets an unexpected job offer in the form of Nick Jansen. When five-year-old twins are left in his care while their guardian goes off on a month-long honeymoon, he knows he can’t handle the rabble-rousers on his own. And that’s where Ava comes in.
After a broken engagement, and some words of dis-encouragement from his jaded mother, Nick has accepted that he’s meant to be alone and the world would be better off for it. But as the kids warm to Ava, so does he, and he starts to feel some of the ice around his heart melting away.
However, when Ava’s law school admission is jeopardized, Nick’s need to fix things threatens her independence and her dreams of carving out the life she wanted. But if there’s one thing Ava and Nick both have to learn, it’s that they might not get the life they want, but they have the love they need.

I thoroughly enjoyed No Time For Detours. This book has sweet romance, an HEA, cute twins and well written characters. The plot is not earth shattering but is very satisfying as Ava and Nick overcome negativity and work on love. I highly recommend this book.
This is another fun story in the No Brides Club series. This one was interesting because it also involved the cute, five year old, precocious twins, Mia and Lucas and their Uncle Nick, who was not really a blood relative. That was an interesting part of the story.
I also enjoyed how Ava’s character grew in the story to a strong, independent woman who really knew what she wanted in life. She could go to law school and have a life with Nick, Mia, and Lucas. She just had to believe in herself and then everyone else would believe her too. It was nice to see how Nick supported and encouraged her in her dreams. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I purchased a copy of the clean novel No Time for Detours (The No Brides Club Book 9): Ava and Nick by Jean C. Gordon and this review was given freely.
A novel with promise and a poignant story of neglect and the real meaning of family. One year after book 5, Kate’s little sister Ava Lewis finds herself no longer engaged, back in college for pre-law and coincidently in the same New York apartment building as visiting Philadelphia financial consultant Nick Jansen who receives a sudden visit from his energetic five year old twin “niece and nephew”.
May be read as a stand alone but best if read after book 5 but refers to Brooke as still in New York as in the beginning of book 7.

I purchased a copy of the clean novel No Time for Lattes (The No Brides Club Book 10): Vivian and by Becky Muth and this review was given freely.
A complexed love at first sight story with a down to earth a realistic and fun filled Christian family mixed in with some conflict, the eclectic work life of a millenial, the theme of broken relationships and Broadway. Multiple tragedies result in teacher Vivian Hart being homeless, jobless, single house and sitting for her child’s book author, New York matchmaking Aunt Sophie’s cat and attracted to the dynamic struggling actor and man of multiple part time jobs Sawyer Nash.
May be read as a stand alone but refers to Brooke still in New York as in the beginning of book 7.

I purchased a copy of the clean novel No Time for Trouble (The No Brides Club Book 11): Marnie and Mal by Monique McDonell and this review was given freely.
A delightful fast paced billionaire, attraction at first sight, love finally realized romance connecting back to book 4 containing down to earth characters, and strong, successful, caring characters who desire loving and close families of their own despite their less than “TV family” upbringings.
When new No Bride’s Club member TV producer Marnie Bate needs a ruse to protector her from her critical mother at her sister’s engagement party, Marnie picks the only male friend she knows, Her partner Georgie’s husband Liam’s business partner, advertising executive and billionaire Malcolm ” Mal” Cooper’s.

I purchased a copy of the clean novel No Time for Regrets (The No Brides Club Book 12) by Karen McCullough and this review was given freely.
A finding love and healing when not looking romance. This novel includes a slice of New York life involving unsafe low rent housing,Julie’s former paralegal cousin, college student and Beckley’s Cafe waitress Samantha “Sam” Dennis and widowed attorney Matthew R. Sentori.
A story in the series but can be read as a standalone. Ava is in law school and working temp jobs to make ends meet. She meets Nick after the twins she is caring for in the gym’s daycare are not picked up and he is the emergency contact. He is expecting them and quickly discovers he needs help. Ava agrees to watch them in the afternoons after her law school classes. She starts to fall for the twins and their Uncle. All is going well until Mia has an accident and Ava misses her finals. Nick tries to help but it backfires. Then the twins Aunt comes back from her honeymoon and takes the twins back. Everyone is now unhappy so the challenge becomes how to find their HEA.
I enjoyed reading this, the twins are so smart and entertaining. Nick and Ava really just click and mesh almost seamlessly. Of course since she is a member of the “No Brides Club,” she is just as determined as Nick to not be in a relationship, they have a little apprehension and a few issues to work through. I received a free copy without obligation and am voluntarily reviewing.
I liked this book and thought that it was a good addition to this series. Nick and Ava’s story was fun and it had a lot of heart. This romance had a real genuineness to it, which I found made it easy to connect with. You will experience plenty of feels as this couples relationship evolves and they face some emotional landmines and drama along the way to a HEA.
I really enjoyed this story. The twins added so much to the story. Ava is trying to start a new career and doesn’t have time for any romance. Nick doesn’t have time either. He is trying to get his new business off the ground. But, when Ava walks into his office with the twins, he can’t help but hope for something more. Ava just wants to concentrate on her career, but the twins throw a wrench into that. Can they find their footing together?
Good clean read. Good story line. Wish more of the previous book characters were mentioned more in what’s happening in their lives now, but understand space is limited and this is a new story, So realize why they weren’t. Would recommend reading.
Wonderful story. Love this series!!! Heartwarming book this one is!!
