Why did someone kill Olive Pendleton and hide her body?
When bakery owner Lexy Baker and her posse of iPad toting grandmas witness a murder remotely through the camera of a drone, they go straight to Lexy’s homicide detective husband, Jack, to report the crime. But with no body and no crime reported, Jack can’t do a thing, leaving Lexy and her grandmother no alternative than to solve the murder … the murder themselves.
Armed with nothing but their gigantic patent leather purses and a dogged determination to see justice done, the ladies dodge a pack of overzealous Pekeapoos, nosey neighbors and an ornery husband in order to flush out Olive’s killer before he kills again.

very enjoyable
A great funny who-dun-it. I have enjoyed this series very much
Leighann Dobbs never fails to entertain and comes up with plots that make to you want to keep on reading even when you can’t keep your eyes open anymore. Thank you Leighann.
Lexy, her aunt and a bunch of elderly lady friends see a murder while trying out a drone. I really wanted to like this book, but it drove me crazy. What they did ( open people’s mail, trespass, etc) wan’t just illegal, it was foolish.
Great book.
Enjoyed the characters in this book. Easy to read.
Funny characters. I guessed early on where the body was hidden but was surprised by the twist at the end. Easy read.
enjoyed trhe characters, especially the senior women. Some of the plot was a little unbelievable, but it kept me amused until the end. I haven’t tried the choclate scone recipe, but it does sound good.
I always enjoy this author and this book doesn’t disappoint. Lexy, along with her Nan and friends, just can’t help but dig for clues and solve the murder. These ladies are a hoot!
slow reading
i FOUND IT TEDIOUS AND STOPPED READING
I love the characters in this series. Grandma is warm and sometimes makes very wise comments. Delightful!
Unexpected ending. The author provides her chocolate scorn recipe at the end of this book. Tried it today, they’re really good!
I love all of her books.
Cute read
I love easy reading, cozy mysteries. The characters were fun and I enjoyed the plot twist.
I enjoy reading of the adventures that Lexy and her grandma & friends get into. There is always just the right mix of humor and intrigue!
Fun story. Some mystery, some romance. Nothing too heavy; a light entertaining read.
Very enjoyable, want more, good read!
This book was not as funny as the previous ones in the series. It was somewhat predictable.
