If life ever taught me anything, it’s that nothing should be taken for granted. One moment is all it takes to break a promise.Friendship turns into love. One second is all it takes to end a life.Love twists into pain. One distraction is all it takes to change your destiny.Pain transforms into hate. One moment. One second. One distraction.Hate becomes all consuming.I’m in love with my best friend, and … consuming.
I’m in love with my best friend, and that one second is about to change everything.

This book was AMAZING! An up and down rollercoaster of freaking emotions that I think I have whiplash. I LOVED the main characters and sure there were over dramatic teenagers at times, but that made it even more realistic. Who didn’t feel like everything was life or death at 16?
I desperately wanted to slap around the characters or scream at them at their unspoken words and stupid decisions. Their thoughts left me in a turmoil of emotions and I couldn’t stop reading!
Kicked me in the damn heartbox and has become one of my favorite romances of all time.
This was a good book, hope you’re ready for a good cry and I looking forward to read the next book in the series.
This is a new author for me. I don’t usually read books where the main characters are in high school but I gave it a shot. The book was good, and at times I got annoyed especially with Oliver. The way he acted was definitely like someone in high school. I felt even though he was young he still could have handled the situation with Abby way better. But even though I was annoyed ALOT I still needed to see where the story would go and needed to finish it. That’s saying a lot about this author that even though the characters annoyed me I couldn’t put the book down. And that ending I want to see what happens next with Abby and Oliver. I really like Abby, I don’t feel she did anything wrong, she was strong when she needed to be and vulnerable when it was warranted. I do hope things work out in the next two books but I also hope she doesn’t make it easy for him.
No Regrets is a story that hooked me from the start. I was barely able to put it down to get back to life and adult. This is the first book in a trilogy and I purchased the second one prior to finishing the first.
Abbygail was lucky enough to find the perfect best friend before she was even able to remember. Oliver was always there for her when she was struggling, happy, or just angry for no reason. It made perfect sense that this friendship would evolve into something more. But due to an unfortunate event everything changed.
Aimee Noalane absolutely drags your heart through the gutter in No Regrets, but the dynamics of this relationship make it worth it… even if you want to throw your reader at the wall a few times. This is a heartbreakingly beautiful start to this series.
This book really tugged at my heart!! 2 bestfriends in love with each other secretly!! But tragic happens and crazyness happens and Oliver moves! I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read book 2!!!
I don’t really know where to start. This book was EVERYTHING!! It was an emotional rollercoaster of this couple growing up then having their world turned upside down. It shows you what it’s like to grow, care for and love someone so deeply then watch as one event can turn that a lifetime of friendship into nothing. This book ends on a Cliffy and I’m dying for book 2! As a debut author this book is freaking amazing and I’m looking forward to more stories from her in the future! I give this 5 stars
“Her world was shattering, and I did nothing but watch her fall to pieces.”
A brand new author for me recommended by a friend, thank you Michelle. No Regrets is an angsty story about long time neighbours and best friends. What happens when lines become blurred, do we trust our instincts or run for the hills? Add a family tragedy and their lives as they know them unravel in front of your eyes. I love books that give you all the feels and this book delivers that and more. When I began reading, I didn’t come back up for air until the last page. I found myself so engrossed in Abbygail and Oliver’s story, that I was almost holding my breath as I wanted to give guidance.
Oliver has warned every boy at school to stay away from his best friend. Of course Abbygail is unaware of this, while he acts clueless and one of the Pom Pom girls rub themselves all over him. He would never admit it but he loves her and his green eyed monster reveals himself when he overheard her talking about a boy. So what does he do, kisses her under the willow tree and now it has put an awkward wedge between them. Will he ever find his way back to her or is their friendship doomed?
Abby has fallen in love with her best friend, but he has no idea. Her daddy left when she was four and now that tragedy has struck a Oliver and her will be on opposite sides of the country. Before they are separated they fight and never get to say goodbye. Abby regularly writes down her thoughts and feelings, as she struggles to cope with day to day life. Will her pain ever subside, will her heart ever mend and why do the males in her life always leave her behind?
*Before you dig in, here’s some suggestions:
-Clear your schedule
-Wrap your kindle in bubblewrap so it isn’t damaged when you throw it
-Wear a helmet so when you bang your head against a wall, you don’t knock yourself out
-Grab a box of tissues
-Tell your family you are out of commission for awhile
Once you do all that, you will be prepared to be sucked in and binge away on these three books!!
Abby and Oliver made my heart nearly explode, I yelled at them, I became so frustrated with their constant mess ups, but I fell in love with them both anyway. The relationship was deep, their connection seemed like it couldn’t be severed, but boy, oh boy, did they come close. Riddled with mistakes, misunderstandings, youthful inexperience, and just plain character flaws, these two brought the pain on each other like not many other stories I’ve experienced. I was lost, and engrossed, and held captive….An absolute MUST READ for angsty, heartbreaking, toss your kindle around like a ragdoll, emotional roller coaster reads!!

This book was my blind date for November and it was honestly a cute read. It’s about best friends realizing they are in love with the other but both are not able to act on it for their very own reasons.
Mostly I felt irritated while reading due to the premature behavior of Abby and Oliver. They were so cute together and you could literally see their connection, love and devotion, but they did so many stupid decisions, I wanted to smack their heads together now and then. But hey, that’s how teenagers are and act. isn’t it?
So yes, the characters are written very real and this premature behavior is very believable and fitting their age. That’s something most young adult books lack off.
Honestly, I can’t really tell why this book didn’t grab me as I thought it would. I’ve already read so many excited comments in the blind date group that I was really curious about this book. Even though I enjoyed reading it, I somehow missed the actual story. It felt like nothing really happened. Not sure how to explain this and I’m sorry for that.
Do I want to know how this story continues? YES, definitely but it will take some time until I can come back to this story.
4.5 Stars. I have to sigh now that I’m finished with No Regrets (and already started book two) because this is one of those books that is full of emotion and angst. Young, teenage best friends who are confused about their feelings for each other. That alone says enough about the angst level of this book. Then throw in some life-changing events and you have a book that will have you all tied up in knots and wishing you could jump in and give these kids some advice so that they don’t continue on the path their on. I genuinely liked Oliver and Abby, but admit there were times Abby annoyed me with her immaturity (she is a teen though) with some of her word choices to Oliver- particularly a phrase she used many times. I won’t put it here because it could be a spoiler in some ways. I personally just don’t like the phrase and how harsh it is. Oliver also had his immature moments with the lack of communication and this made it seem at times that the book was a little drawn out in certain areas and then a tad rushed at the end. Still, I have all three books in the series and will be reading them back to back to see what happens! Can’t wait!
I am official addicted to this series. I devoured book one in two days. It’s been awhile since a novel has had that effect on me.
Bring on book two!
