“An amazingly addictive page turner!” ~Book Readers ClubOnce upon a time, there was a girl who dressed up and went to a big party at the palace. When she was there, she met a prince. They danced and fell in love…Damn good line. Too bad I don’t believe a word of it anymore. My name is Claire Montgomery, and I’m not a princess. I’m a fighter. I worked hard to earn my place on the emergency image … to earn my place on the emergency image repair team for one of the biggest public relations companies in the country. We’ve been called to the renowned Chicago headquarters of Stone Global Corporation, where it’s our job to clean up a heap of the Stone family’s filthiest laundry. Our success will be the biggest victory of my career. I’m on my game. I’m ready.
Why doesn’t ready include a contingency plan for Killian Stone?

Nice build to the “real” story that holds you to the end.
Loved It
Claire is working for a high priced PR firm in hometown of San Diego. Their company is called to fix a PR mess in Chicago for Stone Global. She goes with her boss also is her future step-mom, bosses daughter, and 2 other co workers. She gets tongue toes the first time she meets Killian. He is the CEO of the company and its his brother in trouble. Lots of twist and turns.
This was truly a great read. I loved your characters, how they interacted and what they went through to be together. Makes me wish i could be so lucky.
This was an enjoyable re-imagining of the Cinderella fairytale. I liked Claire and Killian. They had great chemistry and generated plenty of sparks. The engaging storyline offered readers lots of drama, secrets, heat and emotional turmoil. The back-and-forth between these two can sometimes be tiring and I did feel a bit of frustration when things bogged down too much. All-in-all it was a good read.
Wonderful story and entertaining
Chicago and San Diego…….. Perfect Storm!!
This book was amazingly written! It keeps you hooked and wanting more!! The connection between Killian and Claire was passionate, joking, commanding, Hot!! They go together perfectly!! Highly recommended, Definite must read!!

Good story and easy to read.
NO WHITE KNIGHT By Angel Payne & Victoria Blue
No White Night is the 8th installment of the Secrets of Stone Series. OH My Gosh!!! I can’t say enough good things about this book! Angel & Victoria are brilliant writing this series. I could not put it down once I started it. I am going to be anxiously waiting on the next book!
Maclain Stone is a hot shot, playboy neurosurgeon. Taylor Mathews is one lady with tons of baggage and a mile wide independent streak. The first time he sees her he is totally smitten, but she does not want to give him the time of day. I am not going to give anything away, so I am not going to say much more. Together they are one hot couple with amazing chemistry. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could.
I loved this book but I did not like the way it ended.
Loves it! Great author, will read more from her
I really liked the book. A good read. The typos kept it from getting 5 stars.
standard plot with a few interesting backstory twists
I enjoyed it. I didn’t really appreciate the need to purchase the next book, in order to know the full story. But I REALLY appreciate that it was not a cliff-hanger, which I abhor. Instead it was a HFN. In fact, I actually admire the skill employed to create a book that was not a cliff-hanger, but behooves you to purchase the next book in the series; in order to get your questions answered. I probably will purchase the next book. I recommend the book to anyone that wants a solid romance and isn’t turned off by the thought of not having ALL of their questions answered by the time you get to the last page of the book.
Really enjoyed this book.
Good read the only thing I hated is how fast they fell for each other. I did like how they didn’t say I love you right away. It’s a constant game of cat and mouse so it keeps it interesting. Glad I bought it!
