“In NO PLACE TO DIE, Jaden Skye creates a set of characters that are very well developed, and makes you cheer for our heroine on every page. The environment and the overall description of scenes are superb, making you feel the suspense in the air the whole time. Jaden Skye is a natural story teller and the plot is intelligent and intense, developing at a nice pace. The book was well edited and is … is an easy read…I can hardly wait to put my hands on the second volume of this series….I recommend this book to the permanent library of all readers that enjoy a well written suspense/romance.”

Another great mystery from Jaden Skye. I have read a number of his novels and this one is as great as the others. Olivia is trying to get over the loss of her fiancee that she ended up investigating. Now her friend, Raine who she lost contact with, is missing. Raine’s husband Sean hires Olivia to investigate her disappearance in the Keys. This is what she needs now after her loss. The novel grips you and hauls you in from the beginning until the thrilling ending.
It was awesome
P.S follow me
Loved it!!!
I like the book. It at twist throughout the novel. The only thing I would recommend is better proof reading. Names were exchanged in correctly and grammatical errors through.
First of this series I have read. Very enjoyable
Bland
“No Place to Vanish” is second in a series set in the Keys of FL. It contained a repetitive reminder of how Olivia came to be in the Keys from the first book to the point I felt like I had read the first again while reading this one. Backstory is good, but not a detailed backstory. Also, I had a problem with the editing….names incorrect and just pure grammatical errors distracted me from the story.
The relationship between the detective and Olivia is somewhat a little unbelievable. She’s invited to act as a co-detective without any training ? Don’t think that would happen in real life, but then we do need to suspend our belief to some extent when reading fiction.
All in all, I gave it a 3 star because it was a quick read and one that would be for short plane rides, beach side, or just to break up ‘heavy’ thriller reads.
I plan to continue to read this author as there are a few more in this series.
Well developed characters that you want to know. Cheer them on!!!
This was a light, romantic mystery. A good book for the beach or airplane trip.
Whoa! I should have guessed. Her friends weren’t all that loyal and the husband is too perfect to be real. How did she disappear? Is she dead or did she just run away from all the craziness at home?
Not too sappy.
Poor writing and even worse editing. I liked the first book and wished I hadn’t spent time on this one
I would have given this book a 5 but for the predictable ending of the heroine finding herself alone with the killer, who explains everything before she is finally rescued.
Very good read but a tragic story of people who should have been friends.
Loved the book but could not get book 1 or 3 on kindle.
The story has potential as far as the general plot goes but needs some additional editing. There were at least 3 places where the wrong character was named usually mixing up Olivia and Raine. Also I don’t think there is a police detective anywhere that would ask a normal civilian to help them solve a crime and take them along on an investigation.
great read
I thought the story line was original but the book was spoilt for me by the incorrect names used in sentences. Olivia for Raine etc. it made it feel slapdash and careless. One read through by somebody else would have picked up the inconsistencies.
with friends like these who needs enemies
The romance between the detective and Olivia develops too quickly. Also, she’s given permission to act as his partner with no training or certification. The book is at times poorly written and poorly edited.
