Bossy. Heart of stone. Snarly mess next door.Send help before I’m prick-matized…My next big mistake has a name.Warren Ford. Best kept secret in this weird little town.An alpha’s alpha. Spartan abs. Too blunt for everybody’s good.Moody, broody, mysterious, and totally up in my business.I thought Heart’s Edge would be safe.No two timing exes. No pink slips. No hulking, loud, inked up -Oh. Right.… slips. No hulking, loud, inked up –
Oh. Right.
Leave it to a badass to bring the drama piping hot.
Then he goes and saves a cat who means the world to my little niece.
Making me a mushy little puddle of wishes.
Wishing I didn’t know his savage kiss like my own reflection.
Or how erasing tears must be his superpower.
Wishing I’d never poked his scary past.
Or heard him growl when he swears it’s not our future.
There’s no way this works.
He’s no white knight. I’m no princess.
I need to go. He says stay.
Even our sheet-ripping nights can’t work miracles.
Only an answer as the danger closes in.
Is Warren my perfect slice of hero?

Until next time… Happy Reading!
I loved this so much and Warren with his alpha broody behavior was amazing. I loved Hayley and Tara also Mrs Wilma. The suspense part had me on the edge of my seat the entire time but I loved when Warren finally decided to go all in with Hay.
Great story with a great plot-line. I loved Warren and Haley’s chemistry and her little niece, Tara was great too in this story. Another awesome read by this incredible author and I can’t wait for more!
Warren is on a mission. Someone killed his sister 13 years ago. He thinks he knows who did it. When Hay and her niece, Tara, are stranded in town, the last thing he needs is a distraction. Two strangers become his girls and he will do anything to protect them. The clues are there if you can put them together. One badass ex military man tears up the pages looking for the bad man and ends up loving Hay. A nice read with lots of action.
A small town romance that will steal your heart!
Haley is having a really bad week. She caught her fiancé having sex with her BFF/bridesmaid while they were “trying on” their wedding clothes. She lost her job due to “right-sizing” and the art gallery dropped her as a client because she had yet to sell one painting. So she grabbed her sister’s car and daughter, Tara, and was taking them on a road trip to Chicago while her sister and brother-in-law were in Hawaii. They got as far as a town in Montana called “Heart’s Edge” when the car died. at least it happened right in front of a small hotel. That’s how Haley meets Warren, the guy who is staying in the other half of their duplex due to a mistaken key.
This romance has intrigue and danger mixed in with learning how to cope with life’s changes. I really enjoyed how Haley, Tara, and Warren all connected and how those connections stayed strong.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. This book was great. I loved it. It is the story of Warren and Hayley. Both have some issues in their past that drive how they are right now. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are some twists and turns that will keep you guessing and just when you have it figured out, you realize that you were wrong. This book had it all – action, suspense and plenty of heat. This is not the first book of Nicole’s that I have read and it won’t be the last. I can’t wait to see what she has coming next.
YES YES YESSSSSSS! A FABULOUS AND FUN AND OH SO SUSPENSEFUL READ WITH EXPLOSIVE CHEMISTRY AND A HOPPIN PLOT!
Nicole Snow outdid herself with No Perfect Hero. Ridiculously entertaining and with a superb growly hero that made me weak in the knees and a fiery and sassy heroine I couldn’t help but to fall in love with this story. There was plenty of action and thrills along with some super melty moments that made me sigh out loud. It was sexy and amusing as well as kept me on my toes. I didn’t want to see it end. It was brilliant!
No Perfect Hero gets a EXPLOSIVE FIVE LAVA HOT STARS!
Action, suspense and plenty of sass.
Hayley is on a road trip from Seattle to Chicago in a convertible mustang with her niece Tara. Her car breaks down in nowhere, well, Heart’s End.
Her car stalls in front of the Charming Inn.
Where she immediately has a not very cute meet with Warren, a surly, grumpy man.
Warren is in town looking for the man who took out his sister, Jenna. He’s focused on Dennis Brees. He has the skills and the background to find his mark.
Only, Hayley is proving to be a major distraction from his target.
Snappy dialogue, real relationships, action and intrigue. It’s got everything, babes.
Highly recommend.

After mistaking reading a book later in this series
I quickly skipped back to the beginning with No Perfect Hero Heroes of Heart’s Edge Book 1
I love me A Smalltown Love love love
Everything about them and a military Man thrown in and I’m in heaven
Tragedy had struck Warren Ford and it had consumed him for 13 years, losing his beloved sister whilst both were away on tour fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan. He was out to avenge her death and find out the truth
When Hayley, running from a disastrous situation of her Ex BFF and Ex Fiancé she caught in a compromising post Orion days before her wedding, crashes into Warren’s life
I love the background we are given by the author on this town and characters and I loved the instant chemistry between these two.
We are introduced to characters that will be in future books to come and we or at least I did fell in love with this town and lifestyle
Warren is smouldering hot and in need of someone pulling him out of the rut he has himself in.
Grumpy Silent Cut off to all except the few friends he has from his Military days
I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series and also others in this Authors Collections
Thank you xx
You know it’s going to be a good book when the heroine hauls off and hits the hero with her purse the first time they meet. Warren and Haley communicate by bickering and sniping at each other. She’s a complication he doesn’t need. She’s sworn off men after catching her fiance cheating on her with her best friend. They call a truce and things heat up bedroom-wise. But, it all goes sideways when danger comes calling and Haley’s life hangs by a limb, literally.
Suspense and finally finding the one.
I enjoyed reading “No Perfect Hero”, nothing predictable about story line. Loved the characters, I could easily visualize them, but not their next moves!
Most romance novels either have leads with little to no flaws, surrounding themselves with their own wants. Or they have leads with baggage so heavy and dark, it leaves the read emotionally drained or empty by the time the ending is reached. And both are charged with so many lust filled and set driven scenes that the plot falls short for a romp in the sheets, slam against a wall or groping on household furniture.
Warren and Haley come at you with a story that unfolds as their relationship grows. Both heartbroken for different reasons and neither looking to fix the heartbreak, merely trying to move forward and apply balm to their wounds. There is baggage with both of them, but it isn’t anything the author has the reader carrying for the characters. It is enough to make your empathy strings pluck a sad and sweet tune.
The sex and heat is there, but don’t come to read this book for just that. You’ll find that the focus is on the history of the characters, the building of unexpected enemies to lovers and the growth of feelings that weren’t sought out. To make a story worthy of reading, it takes time to bloom. No Perfect Hero is a slow burn and I couldn’t be more pleased about that. By the time we arrived at the heat, I was reader. But, not having the sex scenes right out of the gate, kept me interested in the actual storyline.
“No Perfect Here” by Nicole Snow is the first book in Heroes of Heart’s Edge series and its one hell of a way to start a series. I cannot wait to continue reading the second book. Love the banter the two main characters carry with each other. The spunk, the determination, the resilient she shows in the story. You cannot help but to grow with them as they fall in love with each other. And talk about the story line that keep you on your toes, the action and romance that will keep you wanting more.

No Perfect Hero (Heroes of Heart’s Edge Book 1)
A well written, suspense filled twisty turny book!

I wasn’t sure what to expect with Warren and Haley’s story, and since I had not previously read any books by Nicole Snow, this was yet another new adventure. I’ve been on a tear lately of reading new authors and have been pleasantly blown away by just about everything I have read. This first foray into Heart’s Edge was far more exciting than I originally anticipated.
I think what I enjoyed most was the slow unveiling of precisely who, what, and why Warren was doing the things he was doing. At first, we assume he’s a PTSD soldier retreating to the solitude of home to recover. What we find is untold depths, and with the introductions of his friends in Heart’s Edge, we know there is so much more going on there than what meets the eye.
Haley needs a new beginning. She’s the perfect foil to Warren; warm, artistic, giving, and open. She’s flummoxed by ending up in Heart’s Edge with a busted vehicle but rolls with the punches to do what is needed to take care of her niece. She’s witty and wins over the people she meets even Warren eventually.
Our mystery of what is going on in Heart’s Edge then begins to take center stage. Layer by layer, the secrets of what is going on in town reveals itself. There is high suspense, there is danger, there are dramatic rescues, and even a cliffhanger of sorts. The passion between Warren and Haley is scorching. Warren ends up being the best kind of hero. Now I am invested in learning more about his mysterious, capable, and dangerous friends who make up the rest of the Heart’s Edge series.
After realizing that I was reading this series out of order, this is me going back to the beginning! Though the quest for revenge dominates this story, I think the real strong suit of this series is the ensemble of characters. I have a hard time enjoying a series if all the characters are boring, and this town is full of interesting people who have their own reasons for living near the famous Heart’s Edge cliff. Haley is the kind of lady you hope can get her life together, and Warren is just the kind of guy she deserves after all the chaos in her life. On to book 2!
Awesome book! A lot of readers complain about the language, but well, I’d use certain words in those situations too! You can’t help but fall in love and want a warren in your life.
This is an intriguing, suspenseful, and entertaining story. It was a little slow going at first but other than that it was a good story.
