New York Times bestselling author Brenda Novak welcomes you to Silver Springs, a picturesque small town in Southern California where even the hardest hearts can learn to love again… her son, Jayden, a battle she refuses to lose. Desperate, she accepts a position assisting Dawson Reed–the same Dawson Reed who recently stood trial for the murder of his adoptive parents. Joining him at his isolated farm seems risky, but Sadie is out of options.
Dawson has given small town Silver Springs plenty of reasons to be wary, but he’s innocent of the charges against him. He wants to leave his painful past behind and fix up the family farm so he can finally bring his dependent sister home where she belongs.
As Sadie and Dawson’s professional relationship grows into something undeniably personal, Sadie realizes there’s more to Dawson than the bad boy everyone else sees–he has a good heart, one that might even be worth fighting for.

Brenda Novak blew me away with No One But You. I couldn’t put this down!
This story is so much more than just romance. There’s some mystery and suspense added into the mix. My heart was literally beating faster during certain scenes.
In my opinion, I found this better than the previous book in the series. The story had a lot of layers and it was a touch darker. I also liked how there were more characters involved and it just gave the reader a better feel of Silver Springs. I can’t wait to read the next book!
Another great book, this one had a darker side to it then the first. It is so well written. A must read in this the second book in the series.
I didn’t get far into the book – I just couldn’t appreciate the characters’ struggles. I did enjoy the author’s style of writing.
Good read.
I loved the book and especially Sadie’s character. Domestic violence is a topic very close to my heart and it was inspiring to see Sadie standing up to her husband and refusing to be cowed. I love the way Brenda Novak presented such a misunderstood issue in a caring and sensitive way and how Sadie refused to give in.
too typical
This book was excellent. Things that can really happen to people. Very easy to read and emotional. You will laugh, you will cry, you will get angry, it’s all there. Such a awesome book.
A football player and scientist meet, share a one night stand. She becomes pregnant. She finds out who he is and confronts him, thinking he has a right to know about the baby. He has a troubled past which makes him distrustful of relationships. The story is interesting and their working through their challenges makes this worth the read.
Lots of characters. Slow to start, and then it ends. I did like the book
Can’t remember a Brenda Novak book I did not like.
This book was comparable to a favorite blanket…the story line was somewhat predictable but you fell in love with the “good” characters and thoroughly despised the “bad” guy characters. Worth a read!
Good book that was easy to read. A few hard to believe places.
Wish we could leave 4 1/2 stars. Sensual, some mild language, couple of mild bedroom scenes, well developed characters, suspenseful, fast paced and I read it in two sittings. I’ve always enjoyed Brenda Novaks’ books. Truly good read and if you like a good contemporary romantic suspense then this is the book for you. I’ve never been disappointed by anything that I’ve read by Brenda Novak.
Good author.
Brenda Novack is a great author and this is a great book
This series and its characters have stolen my heart. Wonderful and heartwarming!
Great read! I don’t know what to say. This was a terrific story. It was filled with love, friends, family, and mystery. Brenda Novak did a terrific job weaving the story. It drew you in to the very end. It was a well written story about about two people who were at the lowest points in their lives. I am definitely hung up on Silver Springs. After reading the first one in the series and now this one, I’m hooked. Brenda is a fantastic storyteller. Looking forward to the next one.
