“I can’t wait anymore.” His mouth claimed hers in a storm of heat and power.
Carter Pierce is a man who believes in signs. He just doesn’t know what to do with this one.
In the small town of Blue Moon Bend, where everybody is a matchmaker, Carter wants to be left alone to tend the family farm. After returning from Afghanistan with scars, his only goal is recovery. He doesn’t need any … recovery. He doesn’t need any distractions, and definitely not one with silver-blonde hair and lips that beg to be kissed.
Summer Lentz is a journalist from the city sent to interview Carter and his family. She’s out of place in the small town, with her designer wardrobe and workaholic lifestyle. She asks too many questions and doesn’t take no for an answer, threatening to destroy the peace and balance that Carter has been working towards. She thwarts every attempt Carter makes to retreat back inside himself, somehow bringing him closer to being whole again.
Summer has secrets of her own, but she never planned to open up to anyone – let alone the scowling, secretive farm owner whose story she’s after. But as she gets drawn into the community, she starts to realize that she can’t stay closed off forever.
And what’s more, she doesn’t want to.
As Carter and Summer grow closer, will they be able to push past the secrets that are holding both of them back?

I fell in love with Blue Moon! What an amazingly quirky town with residents stucked in the 70’s and absolutely amazigly standing by each other and helping each other. This is a captivating story, beautifully written, and so funny, swoony, steamy and all around wonderful with all the feels.
Blue Moon Swoon
Carter Pierce is a farmer. A son. A brother. A hero. He felt content in his place in his world of Pierce Acres in the town of Blue Moon Bend. Content, maybe. But, happy? When he sees Summer Lentz for the first time standing in his driveway, all bets are off. She is staying on his farm writing a story about his organic farm, and by association, him. A city girl. A girl full of questions he has no intention of answering. But a funny thing happened while Carter put his city girl to work with the intention of driving her off. He fell in love. She never backed down, she never tired, or complained. This girl had a backbone that made Carter take a second look, and Carter had a background and depth that made Summer swoon. Add in the town’s beautification committee determined to match Carter and Summer and they don’t stand a chance. Not only is this a beautiful book about being brave enough to chase your heart’s desire, it’s also a hilarious book about family and friendships, with Blue Moon Bend taking a starring role.
No More Secrets was sweet and heartfelt with the perfect blend of sexiness and emotion blended in. I loved the characters, the town, and all the entertaining and inviting scenes. It had such a fun vibe! I want to move to Blue Moon Bend and hang out with everyone. Loved it!
I got introduced to Lucy Score and Blue Moon Bend by reading the most recent book of the series, The Mistletoe Kisser. I loved it, so I decided to dive in the right way. No More Secrets introduces you to the Pierce family, the quirky town they live in, and of course Clementine, our favorite goat. I have to admit that the writing at the beginning of the book didn’t feel like Lucy’s hilarious and witty one. But after the first 30% of the book, I recognized the Lucy I loved in Mistletoe Kisser and Bootleg Springs series. I assume since this is an older book, Lucy was just finding her way. But who am I to judge? I’m not a writer, obviously, so I don’t know how all this works.
In the end, I loved this book and I’m off to read Beckett’s story next!!!
I can’t believe I waited this long to start this series. While I did fall in love with Carter and the rest of the characters, Clementine actually stole my heart. This little terror had me laughing my butt off. It’s a small town romance that you will to be sucked into. A binge read I am looking forward to.
In “No More Secrets” Lucy Score has created the perfect small town for a child of the 70’s such as myself! Blue Moon Bend like many small towns in the Sierra’s of Northern California where I am from, is a grown-up hippies dream town! Full of peace, love and organic foods, it is more than a community it’s a family. Add to this a love story between a recovering warrior turned organic farmer and a Type A Big City journalist, you have the perfect romantic set-up. Reading about the quirky townspeople and the clever names for their businesses made me laugh. And using Facebook was a ,modern touch to the usual small town grapevine! Much better then party telephone lines were back in my day! The main characters, Carter and Summer were loveable and easy to relate too. In fact Lucy Score has a way with words that makes all her characters come to life. It’s like you are transported right to the main street of Blue Moon. You are not just an outsider observing from a far , you are a participant! It’s a lovely way to lose yourself for awhile. The books are available on Kindle Unlimited so even the price is right. I can hardly wait to check out book 2 of the series. Thanks Lucy for creating such a wonderful story!
The start of a series that is so much fun to read. I am a fan of Lucy Score. This series includes a quirky small town, a close and living family and strong H and h’s. Once you start reading this series you won’t be able to stop
When city girl Summer Lentz gets an assignment to do an article about a next generation organic farmer she never expected to fall in love with no only the farmer but farming, his family and the the community of Blue Moon Bend and its inhabitants. Carter Pierce is not looking forward to hosting a city girl journalist but when Summer shows up on his doorstep she captivates him. There’s only one problem though. Well two. Okay three. She has her life planned out so falling in live isn’t part of it. They live three hours apart. She has a big secret. Can the sexy farmer and the quirky small town work their magic on her?
This is my 3 time reading this book and apparently I’ve never reviewed it! well 3 times should tell you that I love this book, I love Blue Moon and Carter is the farmer we never knew we wanted. Summer is a city girl, coming out to write about all the great things Carter is doing on his farm. But after a few short weeks together, they soon find out they can’t keep their hands off each other. I love the relationships between the three Pierce brothers and their mother Phoebe is one of a kind. You get to meet some quirky other side characters and that doesn’t stop at just humans, the world Lucy built with Blue Moon will have you wishing it was a real place to visit!
Sign me up for the rest of the Blue Moon series…
I’m quickly becoming a Lucy Score fan. Her quirky, humourous, entertaining and lovable characters come to life for me and I am always satisfied with how the story has played out. The only problem with starting a series like Blue Moon is that I’m desperate to go back for more. The only problem is…I have bought two new books and one of my pre-orders have hit my Kindle this week. I think I’ll buy #2 and see which book my download finger hits first. I SHOULD read what I’ve bought…but the struggle is real.
In No More Secrets we meet Carter and Summer when the magazine Summer works for decides to do an article on Carter’s organic farm. Within minutes of them meeting each other, it was obvious there was attraction and sparks flying. Summer is staying at the farm for a week but they are both hesitant to act on their attraction. It’s not like this city girl would leave her glamorous life to live on a farm, or, the farmer would ever leave his peaceful existence. But, the heart wants what the heart wants.
I really, really enjoyed reading No More Secrets. At first, I admit to falling under Carter’s spell and thinking Summer might not be good enough for him. Summer’s job is very demanding and she has made her career her life. With time on the farm, she realises that all work and no play is not making Summer a happy camper. I absolutely LOVED that Carter knew Summer was scared and was willing to wait and not push her too far too fast. In the end, it would take a bit of compromise, a lot of love and no more secrets to get to their happy ever after.
The people of Blue Moon were lovable and quirky and made me want to visit this small town. Carter’s brothers Beckett and Jackson were great men and I can’t wait to get to their stories. Pheobe, Carter’s mother was very cool and I loved her “favourite son” of the moment comments, it reminded me a little of the tongue in cheek conversations I have with my own sons.
No More Secrets does deal with some heavier subjects but I think they were handled beautifully. Carter is a returned soldier suffering from PTSD and Summer has had some health issues. Nothing too heavy or dodgy and when these subjects were discussed, I was never too uncomfortable.
No More Secrets was sexy, funny and very entertaining and I was left completely satisfied at the end. I will definitely be reading more from this author and the Blue Moon series is at the top of the list.
Blue Moon Bend is home to Pierce Acre Farms and Carter Pierce, farmer, veteran and vegetarian. Disrupting his little piece of farmer’s paradise is Summer Lentz, a stubborn, city-dwelling, sexy journalist. This is the first in a small town rom-com featuring the Pierce brothers. Besides loving the witty banter between the H and h, I absolutely adored the town itself. It’s like taking a hippie trip back in time. The secondary characters put a smile on my face with all the crazy antics. This is a fantastic start to an amazing series!
Since I started using kindle unlimited, I have read many of what I call my “sexy books,” but this is by far one of my favorites! Well-written, sexy, and so funny that it had me cackling out loud throughout much of the book. I also love starting a new series, knowing that if I like this book, there are more to come. So glad that each of the Pierce brothers will be getting their own book. But I think I will be reading this one many times. In fact, I think I will read it again right now.
Nice little read for a rainy day. Fairly well edited.
Summer works for a digital magazine in New York and has been assigned a story about the farm of Carter Pierce. The city girl falls into country life, determined to fit in and not be a burden as she researches her article. Summer and Carter fall into love rather quickly – she is only on the farm a week. She heads back to New York and they try to make the long distance thing work. However, Summer is hiding a rather big secret, which keeps her from really committing to Carter. Carter, having served in the Army overseas, has had his own share of trauma to overcome. He shares where he has been, but Summer still keeps her secrets to herself. Will she ever deal with her issues and open her heart to Carter? Will he get the HEA he so deserves?
The story is set in the fictional town of Blue Moon Bend – filled with all kinds of neat and eccentric people. The townspeople may be nosy, but they are also very caring and willing to step in when a neighbor is in need. Carter’s family is very close, and it will be quite entertaining to see how his brothers fall into love. Enjoy!
I loved this so, SO much. Two thumbs up, a plethora of giggles, and a boatload of sighs for this swoonworthy, funny romance from Lucy Score. Excuse me, I need to go read all the rest immediately.
Lucy Score is brilliant at building love for a quirky, small town. I’ve loved all her books so far and this was was not a let down. She has a way with grabbing a hold of you and making you love every character. I’m excited to read more in this series.
4*
Summer is best friends with Nikolai they often work together he’s a photographer.
She meets Carter when she is assigned to do a piece on his family’s farm in blue moon, nothing could prepare them both for the attraction they felt.
Loved it so much I’ve downloaded the next book fall into temptation
Summer had a plan for her life. She would work hard at her job in NYC and learn all she cold to be successful and make her daddy proud. She wasn’t going to let a sickness or horrible co-workers stop her.
Carter, a former Army Ranger, came home to his small town of Blue Moon to heal. With his family and town helping his heal, he creates an organic farm.
Summer goes to the Pierce Farm to write about the benefits of organic and clean living and how it can help heal people, body and soul. While on the farm, her body starts to heal and she starts to fall in love with the town and Carter.
Carter proves to Summer that he is there for her whether she is healthy or not.
What can I say about Blue Moon? Well, I want to live there. The quirky town with it’s lovable characters, homey feel and community, pulls you in.
Throughout the story you fall, not only for the main characters, but all the sub-characters. You want to keep coming back to hear their story and Lucy Score doesn’t disappoint! She meshes all the characters out and you don’t feel like your just reading “fluff”, you want to get to know them.
I have read this series so many times, I just keep coming back. ~ Like visiting old friends!
Carter Pierce, the oldest of the 3 Pierce brothers, is an organic farmer in Blue Moon Bend.
Summer Lentz is working her way up the corporate ladder in hopes of scoring the editor’s position at Indulgence magazine in Manhattan.
She goes to Blue Moon for the week to interview Carter and sparks fly. Carter is a wonderfully complex character that I fall deeper in love with with the turn of each page. Summer is strong willed and finally experiencing family and community like never before in the small town. This story is engaging, wildly funny, sweet, sexy, smart, and unlike any other small town read.
