Lost… in love with him. I need him. I’m lost without him…
Found…
What the hell was I thinking, falling in love with a stubborn spitfire like Taylor Mathews? For the first time in my life, a woman is driving me insane with need. If I can win her back, I vow to never let her out of my sight again.
Though it takes the threat of a maniac to drive her into my arms, I’m not letting opportunity pass me by, and everyone needs to learn this woman is mine—especially the woman herself. Without each other, we’re nothing. But together…
We’re no longer lost.

Where to begin? Okay so firstly, these authors are fierce, yet again they deliver an all-consuming, addictive, so damn hot, and an intriguing plot that will have you frantically flipping pages eager to know what happens next plot. The characters are flawlessly written and honestly, this is probably my favorite couple and favorite plot in the entire series. I cannot even begin to explain just how much I LOVED THIS BOOK! LOVED LOVED LOVED. SO MUCH.
Well, if you are wanting to read this before you’ve read from book one, you will need to read No White Knight to get any understanding of this actual plot. This series circles around the Stone family and the epic story started back with No Prince Charming and ever since then I have been completely and utterly obsessed with Secrets Of Stone and each and every character. It has become a fast favorite of mine. A series I will continue to go back to and read/listen.
In No Longer Lost, the story for Mac and Taylor continues and basically takes off where it was left in No White Knight. Mac makes a hasty decision and ends things with Taylor, in the cruelest way a man could possibly do so, in my opinion anyway. But the break up is short lived and they reunite, only to come back together as hot, intense and all-consuming as they were in No White Knight.
In this instalment, you get more of Taylor’s story, her past, her present and why she is the way she is, and it’s insightful? I think that’s how I can put it… at first Taylor comes off standoffish when we first met her, but over the course of this book you find out her issues with her mother and her family life, and you see another side of her, and you get a better understanding on why she’s so reserved and struggles to completely give herself to Mac but you get to see another side of her that had me emotionally invested. I have loved Taylor from the very beginning, there was just something that pulls me in about her. I think it’s because Taylor reminds me so much of myself, and to read a character like that, it does take hold of me and it does consume me. I was an emotional wreck by the end of the book.
Mac is perfection. A hot as hell dominant, stubborn, confident and kinky doctor that is utterly smitten with one woman and one woman only, though he made some d*ck moves throughout the story, he always manages to win my heart over, and with that being said, Taylor is not perfect in any way either, she continues to push him away, to keep her guard up but over time, brick by brick her wall comes down and Mac wins her over. PAGING DOCTOR MACLAIN!
After the two reunite and give into each other, and end up spending hours devouring each other at Macs doctors office and they both agree to try and give this relationship a proper go… Great right? WRONG… Just when I thought these authors had things all lined up and perfect for these two, they go and throw in a plot twist that had me on the edge of my seat, freaking out and completely obsessed in what was going to happen next, and boy was I strung out. This is where I will stop at giving you too much information (Which for me is nearly impossible to do) but I believe this book needs to be experienced without any major spoilers. All I will say is you are going to be on the edge of your seat, eager as hell to find out where this plot twist leads them.
And the heat in this book? HOLY CRAP! Panty dropping, and can we please talk about Mac’s obsession with biting. DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN, HOT DAMN. SO EFFING HOT! I never knew that’s something that would grab my attention but it sure as hell did. These two are page burning HOT. I found myself squirming and fanning myself, even having to take little breaks… SO DAMN GOOD.
I had no doubt in my mind that this book would consume me beyond belief and hell it did… In nutshell? Pure perfection. An amazing conclusion to these two characters and their intense relationship. It was amazing to read how the authors put this relationship together, and how they worked themselves through what is certainly an intense journey for Mac and Taylor… Again, It was PERFECT!
Its 5 stars, but If I could rate it higher. I WOULD.
On the edge of your seat emotions make this next installment of the Stone Saga one that I could not put down. Between independent and sassy Taylor and ride by the seat of your pants Mac, these two had sparks flying from the pages. When danger works it’s way into their lives will they walk away once again or will it be the catalyst for them to find out they are stronger together? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that had me turning the pages this book should not be missed.
Taylor has a ‘take no prisoners’ and ‘don’t jack with me’ attitude. Mac is a hot as fire, self-absorbed, all around jerk. When these to get to bantering you know there is going to be a 3-alarm fire that may never be put out!
She doesn’t want to lean on anyone and he is a one-night stand kinda guy. Their relationship is a massive leap in trust and soul-baring. Add in the fact that they each have mother issues and you get a blazing, soul-searing emotional trip.
Then for giggles, toss in a demented stalker and this is where it gets really interesting.
Angel Payne and Victoria Blue have pulled me along willingly every step of the way with this series and I am calling Mac and Taylor the icing on the cake. I have loved every couple through and through, Mac and Taylor just topped my list of favorites.
YES! YES! So much Yes! It was such a wonderful experience to watch as Taylor embraced her heart, and for Mac to receive it with such gratitude and awe, for him to recognize the awesomeness for what it was. She struggle immensely with letting her emotion out, but once she did it….it was a very beautiful thing. I enjoyed this book, a lot.
That being said, as of right now, at least to my knowledge, there is not a 10th book (if you know otherwise PLEASE let me know), but there needs to be. There are so many loose ends! I even have ideas! But the entire Andrea/Trey situation has to be addressed!
No Longer Lost is book 9 in the Secrets of Stone Series and you will definitely need to read book 8 before reading this one. I was taken on a roller coaster of emotions throughout this book and kept on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next.
Things between Taylor and Mac did not end well at the end of the last book and both are now forced to really decide what they are going to do now. Still drawn to each other and with amazing chemistry they must decide if they are willing to work through their issues to be together.
Then, when things are finally looking up for the two of them, a man that Taylor once thought was harmless and just a friend decides that friends is no longer good enough for him. This creates some tense and scary moments that push Taylor and Mac even closer together.
From start to finish I was hooked and dying to know what was going to happen next. I am kind of hoping we get even more of Mac and Taylor in future books because I was not ready to be done with their story.

Love Mac and Taylor, they’re both head strong, feisty characters, their witty back and forth banter is hilarious, definitely keeps you entertained. A fast paced sexy read, but felt it ended to abruptly. Can’t wait to read more from this fabulous duo
Another fabulous story in this amazing universe!
Angel and Victoria have done it once again!
Mac & Taylor’s story held me captive from beginning to end and I can’t wait to read the next book these two complete. The emotions, humor, and excellent writing are a combination that should not be missed by anyone who loves to read!
The perfect follow-up to No White Knight (which is Book #8 in the series), so you should definitely read that book first for the complete Mac & Taylor experience and history.
No Longer Lost is my favorite book in the Secrets of Stone series so far, even though I feel that way every time a new one is released, it’s because it’s hard to believe they can get even better.
4.5 stars
This is the ninth book in the series and readers return to Taylor and Mac’s relationship that began in “No White Knight.” From their introduction, there was just something about these two characters that make you fall hard. Taylor is a spunky woman with her own way of thinking and doing things who has had her share of relationship issues thanks to her mother. Mac is a dominant male whose strong personality had usually gotten him what he wanted; although with Taylor is has been an arduous road. In this story, Taylor is realizing that she wants Mac and is willing to deal with her issues to make it happen. Mac is so on board with having a relationship with Taylor that he will do anything for it. When a stalker is after Taylor, Mac steps in only to have it blow back forcing him to take an unexpected leave of absence. Through all of the ups and downs, one thing remains that this is one couple that is going to do what it takes to grow together and make it work. Filled with drama and steamy scenes, this is one story that you will not be able to put down. I love this series and look forward to the next book.
I volunteered to read an advance copy and all opinions are my own.
No Longer Lost Angel Payne & Victoria Blue is book 9 in the Secrets of Stone series. This is Taylor Mathews and Maclain Stone’s story– which started back previously in “No White Knight”.
In No Longer Lost, we continue Taylor and Mac’s story. They are still as intense, as electric and as steamy as they were in the previous book yet amplified more so. I loved their story continues. When this book starts, Mac and Taylor’s relationship is in tatters and during the time they are apart, Taylor has a stalker. It’s during a time of crisis which ends up bringing these two back into each other’s lives again. They still have deep emotions for one another– get ready for crazy ups and downs, twists and turns, emotional rollercoaster rides all while trying to figure out whose after Taylor and while Mac doubles down trying to prove his love for her. Will he be able to get her to stay with him or will she decide to just go?
This is an emotional powerhouse of a read that ends on a epic cliffhanger!! Full of feels, suspense, action, steamy romance and epic plot twists. I can’t wait for more Mac and Taylor!!!
My Rating: 4.9 stars *******
No Longer Lost is the continuing story of Taylor and Maclain’s rollercoaster ride through their crazy love story. No White Knight is where their story began and you really should read that book first to fully understand their full story.
This book is well written and the perfect combination of steamy and angsty moments that kept me captivated from beginning to the end!
Not only did Taylor and Mac have to deal with their differences, her stubbornness and his protective tendencies but Taylor now has a stalker and Mac has a meddling mother. Grab hold of this book because it is a ride you will want to be on!
Sometimes your soul calls out to another but you just don’t understand the pull. There is a force stronger than your own will that presses your forward making you do things that seem crazy. Your feel lost but if you give into the pull you just might find what you have been missing your entire life. That one piece of the puzzle that fits perfectly into your heart. Slowly you realize this person is your home and you have found yourself, the true person you were meant to be. This story is everything and more. It’s the perfect love story with action thrown in for good measure. I loved this book from start to finish. The writing draws you in and keeps you hooked. I can’t wait to read the bext book in this incredible series. These to ladies are very talented and you should give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
I love Mac and Taylor and we finally get to read more about them. Mac and Taylor knows they have feelings for each other even though they have been broken up as of the last book. However, their attraction is undeniable and when they finally see each other again after a couple of months, nothing has changed in their attraction. It is actually more intense and they can’t deny it any more. But Taylor is hesitant about any relationship since her past experiences have never been good and watching her mother’s train wreck of a life would put anyone off any relationship. But Mac is determine to have a meaningful relationship with Taylor and will do whatever he has to make sure she realizes it. Their journey is full of attraction, hot chemistry, and witty banter. But Taylor’s past prevents her from fully opening herself up to the possibility of a future with Mac since she thinks that Mac will eventually tire of her and her insecurities. When an individual threatens Mac and Taylor’s relationship, Taylor finally lets her walls down and show Mac all of herself and is surprise by Mac’s reactions.
Mac and Taylor are such a great couple even though both of them grew up differently. They challenge each other and are so comfortable with each other, it is like they have known each other their entire life! And their physical attraction to each other is off the charts hot and steamy!
Taylor and Mac have my vote for couple of the year.
Passion, Romance and Laughter blend perfectly to make this a must read duet.
As a reader, I could actually feel the tension and the passion that seemed to constantly emanates from these two. One minute I found myself rooting for Dr. Clown (“Yeah- hopeless, party of one”) the next I wanted to bop the back of his head and yell “What were you thinking?”.
Mac took a risk, hoping that Taylor would see beyond the written words he left for her.
But Taylor being, well Taylor, has a hard time with anything that makes her emotionally vulnerable. Circumstances take a bit of a twist in Mac’s favor and Taylor conveniently ends up right where he needs her, in his arms. Despite the physical fireworks that are almost a constant between them Mac is only getting brief glimpses behind the wall that protects Taylor’s heart. But Mac isn’t going to let her tantrums (and hell’s bells can that girl stomp the ground with the best of them) and misdirection stop him from getting what he desires. He will get Taylor to trust in him even if it takes every last breath he has –
“She would either be the death of me or the only thing that made my life worth living. This would go one way or the other now. ” – Mac
5 Star Review of No Longer Lost (Secrets Of Stone #9) by Angel Payne & Victoria Blue
Firstly if you have nor read No White Knight, then stop and read that one before you read this book. From the start I was entranced by Maclain Stone, and Taylor Mathews .
I loved them in No White Knight but to read this follow up story just added to my pure enjoyment of this couple.
Taylor finds herself devastated when Mac walks away but when danger rears it’s ugly head it is Mac she turns too. Soon realizing just how deep her feelings run for Mac, she is worried that his carefree nature and fly by the seat of your pants attitude may well destroy her.
No Longer Lost is an extremely well written and captivating story that had me engrossed from the start. It was a roller coaster of a ride which drew out a myriad of emotions whilst I was reading it.
Can Mac and Taylor find their way through the minefield that is their relationship and in doing so find their happily ever after? One click and find out.
Magnificent read!! One that will last a lifetime! Joy to experience!!!
He’s a sexy jerk, she is independent and has her walls up. Yet neither one can live without the other. Mac is determined to have Taylor stay this time because with her, everything is right in the world. She realizes she needs and wants Mac, and her walls come down.
A crazy stalker is out to get Taylor, and Mac will do anything to make sure she is safe. After realizing they need each other and get back together, the last thing he wants is to lose her again and he wonders if he will be able to save her from this maniac that is bent on making Taylor’s world upside down.
Drama, suspense and their hot passion will keep you on the edge of your seat as you root for these two lovers to make it.
Angel and Victoria just keeps the feels and suspense coming with this continuation of Mac and Taylor’s love story! Make sure you have read No White Knight prior to reading this book.
**This is book 9 of the Secrets of Stones series**
Secret of Stones gets better and better with each book. Mac and Taylor have stolen my heart. It will take you on an emotional ride and keep you on the edge of your seat turning pages. These two are so relatable; they face so many ups and downs many of us face in a relationship. This is a must read <3
No Longer Lost by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue is the follow up book to No White Knight with the story picking up a couple of weeks later. After a disastrous lunch with Mac’s mother resulting in him leaving what Taylor considers a ‘dear John’ letter stating “if you decide you deserve me” on her car, Mac & Taylor are well and truly a thing of the past …… at least that is until they meet again and the chemistry that drew them together in the first place is just as strong . With Taylor’s hard-headed pride and Mac’s stubborn take charge attitude, they have a long road ahead of them if they want to build a relationship that will go the distance. Taylor will have to learn that she can depend on Mac while he has to realise that he has to wait for her to ask for help. He can’t just jump in and explain later. Things aren’t made any easier for them when Taylor attracts the attention of a stalker.
I love the Secrets of Stone series. The characters aren’t perfect. They have their faults making them more human and no relationship ever comes easy. There’s always a measure of give & take between the hero and heroine if they are to get their happy ending. I also love that we get to catch up with previous couples from earlier books in the series and get glimpses of their lives. A word of warning though, to enjoy this book fully you must read No White Knight first to understand what makes the characters tick.
Bold, Enthralling and Laugh Out Loud Funny…The conclusion of MacLain Stone and Taylor Matthews Story is reading at it’s best. Each time Angel Payne and Victoria Blue bring you a book that is exceptional and this book is no different.
Mac knows that he is falling hard for Taylor but initially struggles with how he will get through to her to show the depths. Taylor has grown up hiding her emotions and being co-dependent – so she is unsure if she is capable and can give back to Mac what he freely is giving to her.
P.S. The entire Series is incredible and worth the investment.
