Murder. Lies. Betrayal.I deal with those things every day. My name is Jason Avery, one of the best undercover agents in the country. I have yet to fail on a mission, which is why I’ve been sent to Vegas. Countless women have been abducted, tortured, only to show up dead in the middle of the night. It’s my job to find out which sick fuck is responsible. Unfortunately, every lead sends me to a dead … dead end; at least, until Aylee McFadden shows up at my door.Aylee is a stubborn, headstrong FBI agent and also one of the sexiest women I’ve ever seen with a gun. In joining me, it gives us the leverage we need to get on the inside. She fights me at every turn, but soon realizes there’s more to me than tattoos and a dirty mouth. I can’t get enough of her. Now that we’re in the game, we’re one step closer to solving the crime. However, gambling with money isn’t what the big boys want. They want the one thing I’m not willing to give. It’s a no limit game, and if I back down I lose everything. I will lose her.

I’ve read this book multiple times as well Armed & Dangerous Series as a whole but I’ve never actually gotten around to posting a review so here goes. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Jason & Aylee and their chemistry is completely off the charts. Even if they annoy the sh*t out of each other to start with it just seems to work for them. Jason has been working undercover in Vegas for months trying to work out whose been gruesomely k*lling pr*stitutes and covering it up so no more women are k*lled but he’s been working solo for months and the Chief of Police Ryan Griffin is getting antsy, as if he doesn’t solve the case soon the FBI will come in, since they’re breathing down Ryan’s neck for answers. Jason really doesn’t want the FBI anywhere near his case, as they’ll just come in and take all the credit. Little does he know that the FBI are already in Vegas and that he just spoke to their undercover agent Aylee McFadden, who introduced herself as Ariel so he thought she was an actual pr*stitute that he could use so at least her cover is legit enough to fool him. He really wasn’t happy about having to work with the FBI/Aylee so he tries to rattle her but she just pushes him back. They like working by themselves as they both have legitimate trust issues where partners are concerned. Jason’s due to having Gabe, a guy that was part of Jason’s team and he considered a friend betrayed them all by feeding information to his half brother and the owner of the Dark Side underground fighting ring as well as nearly k*lling Jason’s sister Brooklyn, even if he was aiming for Camden and she pushed him out of the way and took the b*llet meant for him per Scar’s orders since Camden betrayed him by helping Mason take him and the Dark Side down and Aylee’s old partner sold her out for a $50k payday when they were on their last mission.
The more they work the case together, they slowly learn to trust in each other as they have to rely on each other to keep the other safe. It was horrible that her cover for the case was that of a pr*stitute and that she had to possibly get up close and personal with the k*ller to solve the case. It would definitely was hard for Jason to allow Aylee to go in by herself but he trusted her to be able protect herself, yes he originally had his doubts but he made sure she could fight to protect herself when he set Kyle up to mess with her when they went to Tyler’s gym to see what she’d do. Aylee knew that even if it hard, she knew that Jason would have her back if things went sideways. Man. It completely cracked me up about how Aylee left Chazz after she’d dr*gged him with the special serum that she helped the FBI create so she could search his place while he was out. I really wish that I was a fly on the wall to see his reaction to waking up face first in his own c*m with a really sore a*se from being fl*gged, it would’ve been completely priceless. I’m looking forward to reading Blake’s story next. I really hope he doesn’t f*ck everything up with her like he’d done with Brooklyn and that he meets his match as he needs someone to call him on his sh*t and push back when he’s being a complete a*sehole. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
No Limit has plenty of suspense and intrigue as the women of the night are turning up dead. I love Aylee and Jason’s relationship as they work together to find the killer. I highly recommend!
5 Stars for No Limits by LP Dover . This is book 1 in the Armed and Dangerous Series. They can all be read as standalone though . I love Aylee’s character , she is a strong , independent women . She is an FBI agent that is there to work with Jason to catch a murderer m. This is romantic suspense at its finest. If you like bada** heroine and hot men with guns who wanna protect them then this is a book for you!
I couldn’t put this book down. When Jason and Aylee were together the spark that was their you could feel while reading their story. Finding out who was killing the girls was going to be tricky but with Jason & Avery working the case you knew it would be interesting. With 3 guys that were suspects and had a reputation to use woman they had to get into there group by any means and that was thru poker. But the stakes where to high and Aylee was the bargaining chip. With there feelings towards each other getting stronger and the danger still out there, it was getting harder for Jason to let Aylee do there job. When you think you know who the killer is and then bam it is someone you might not have see coming. Such an amazing story and can’t wait to read the next in this series
