He was the reprobate king of Dayton high. I was the bitter princess cast out of my kingdom. And we were at war. It started off with a lie, and a one-night stand gone terribly wrong. Although I knew nothing good would come from my encounter with Bellamy West, the small town’s gorgeous bad boy, I didn’t expect him to throw jet fuel onto the already flaming wreckage of my life. Then step back with a … back with a sexy smirk on his face to watch me burn.
And burn I did…
He got me fired.
I got him arrested.
We were enemies until we weren’t. Until one touch went too far, and I found myself craving each dirty word. Every filthy promise.
Bellamy West was no good, and I wanted to be bad.
Screw falling for Prince Charming, I wrote my love story with the villain.
And for that, I paid…

Bellamy West is the king of the school, the bad boy all the girl clamor for, and the one man Drew wishes she had never caught the eye of. Every time she turns around he is there, invading her space, making advances and lude comments that bother her more than she cares to admit. When her father had her sent to Dayton High she never thought she’d be fending off some handsome troublemaker and his hood alum friends, but she is, and every interaction they have the more dangerous things get.
There is no way this thing between them is going to end well…
No Good is a dark and steamy little tale that is bound to anger you and push you to your limits, and make you blush. The game of cat and mouse these two play is intense, emotional, and driven by a fierce attraction. When he pushes her she pushes him right back, they are constantly upping the ante against one another, they’ll have you wondering how far they will go to get the upper hand. From page one I was taken with these characters, left feeling that I needed to know more, understand what made them the way they were. And boy did I learn a lot! These two were quite the pairing, they fed off one another and the tension brewing between them had me on edge the whole way through. I have to say these talented authors brought us an well penned & unforgettable read that is bound to find it’s way to the bestsellers list! They really outdid themselves with this one, I loved every word of it! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
I do not kid when I say that Drew and Bell are my absolute favorite couple I’ve read about. Their dynamic is wild, passionate, and so reckless. Their story feels real, yet still a fantasy I can get lost in. This book gave me major feels!

STORY:
Although this is your typical story of the rich girl who’s forced to attend the school on the other side of the tracks where she falls for the bad boy hottie, I ended up absolutely loving Drew and Bellamy!!! There’s just something about the way Cole and Lovell write that makes the characters feel so believable!!! Bellamy really is hot, and Drew is one of the most feisty female characters I’ve ever met!! Plus Bellamy‘s friends, Wolf and Hendrix, are laugh out loud funny! I sure hope those guys get their own stories!!
EDITING/PROOFREADING:
*** If you aren’t one of the authors or curious about my critical eye, I’d stop reading here***
Although this duo obviously has a talented editor who kept the story flowing well, there were a distracting amount of mistakes and inconsistencies. For example, INTO was always used even though sometimes it should have been IN TO, ONTO instead of ON TO, MIGHT always used even when it should have been MAY, SMOKE for SMOKER (“chain smoke”), PASSED when it should have been PAST, and THONGS for THONG (“Then I slammed my lips to hers, working her thongs over her hips.”). In addition, sometimes the same word was spelled differently (for example, spelled $HIT HOLE sometimes, and $HITHOLE others), and punctuation was missing from the end of a few sentences. The Chicago Manual of Style rules for where to place ending single quotation marks and for spacing ellipses weren’t followed. Regarding ellipses, they also fluctuated between having a space on the left and having no spaces (for example, “not… I” and, “Nora…I” – both are incorrect according to CMOS). Semicolons weren’t used to separate 2 complete sentences like they are supposed to. Some pronouns that should’ve been capitalized were not (such as “dad”), and sometimes words were capitalized that shouldn’t have been (for example “Hi” in, “Arlo keeps coming in my room, shouting at me to tell you Hi.”). Regarding dialogue, sometimes words were capitalized and the wrong punctuation used (for example, [“You’re insane if you think I owe you.” He snorted] should’ve been, [“You’re insane if you think I owe you,” he snorted]).
The majority of the errors were regarding commas. Rules for commas and the word OH we’re not followed (for example, “Oh my God” should have been “Oh, my God”), coordinating conjunctions at the start of sentences always had commas even when they didn’t need one, and I think there may have been a comma every single time the word THEN was used which is not required.
There were sentences with extra words (“regardless of what of whether I helped you or not.”), sentences with the wrong word (“I felt like I’d just been through a spin cycle as I watched him walked back to his car.”), sentences with missing words, and some sentences that were missing punctuation (“more than just “I want to fuck you.”).
I obviously am unable to simply read books without my eyes homing in on every little detail! However, I am sure the majority of average readers will not notice even a fraction of these and will be able to simply enjoy this sect, fabulous story. However, if you are reading this Lauren or Stevie, I’d love to help make your books 100% flawless!!!
“Shouldn’t and wouldn’t were a million miles apart where Bellamy West was concerned. I had hated him, wanted him, reasoned as to why he was a terrible idea, and every time it came back to basic animal instinct that was as natural as breathing.”
Just like the first book in this series, this one blew me away!! It’s an absolute must read, these Authors spinning pure hotness magic and I’m here for as long as they keep writing in this world. Bellamy is all intense, sexy swagger and panty-dropping devilish grins and he sucked me right in, burnt me from head to toe, and only left scorched earth behind. Bad boy meets silver tongued girl banished from the well off side of the tracks, a one night stand comes back to haunt them as their paths cross, flames ignite, gasoline meets match, and away we went. Up and down like a wild ride I never wanted to end! The fall was priceless and my grin didn’t stop or falter. This is textbook bully romance perfection and I inhaled every single word tirelessly. Sidenote: again we meet the absolutely hysterical and boundary crushing little brother I adored from Book 1 and I giggle-snorted re-reading his ridiculous antics over and over. I can’t recommend this one enough. The series is fire and an absolute must read!!
“See, you’re like a Knight in thrift-shop armor.”
“Nah, baby girl. I’m a villain who just wants the princess.”
From the moment I cracked this book open I was a goner. There was no adulting done in this house today – and I’m not even sorry.
Bellamy and Drew were a perfect storm of anger, lust, love and jealousy.
Add in the cuteness that was Arlo and the crazy that was Hendrix and you have a book I just couldn’t put down.
Straight into my top 10 Reads of the year!
This book was so good I can’t even express how good this book was ! This was my first time reading something by this author duo and it couldn’t have been a more perfect read . Bellamy and Drew are each from opposite worlds. Drew being a rich spoiled princess and Bellamy being the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks literally. These two couldn’t have been more perfect for each other the chemistry the connection they had this story was just so good! I laughed and giggled throughout the whole book with the banter between all the characters especially Wolf and Hendrix I was in stitches with these characters! This book also got me in all my feels it was heart wrenching at times it was dark intense and steamy but also sweet . This book is a definite must read and definitely gets my five stars !
No Good was a story of the privileged versus the underprivileged. Does money make the person or does money pose a threat to make you look down upon others? Bellamy is from the wrong side of the tracks. Muscled up, tattooed, pierced, and living amongst the people struggling to survive. In walks Drew (aka Drucella). A privileged spoiled brat, who went to an Academy and never wanted for anything. Bellamy was going to make her life a living hell. Show her what it meant to live poorly; needing to work for everything that you need. Not want but need.
What he didn’t expect was for Drew to have a heart. For her to only want love. She could not care less about the almighty dollar and she would give up every cent for her parents to show her some attention. The last thing Drew expected was to feel that from someone the likes of Drew. But will she slow a bad boy from Dayton inside her bubble?
The side characters are amazing. Hendrix — that boy needs his own book. He cracked me up with his one-liners and his made-up words to songs. He’s hilarious!! I will, however, admit that although a great story, it took a long time to get there. I felt that there was quite a bit of unneeded “fluff”. I love these authors and have never come across this before. I feel horrible for saying so, but I wanted to yell “get to the point already!” Other than that, it was a fantastic teen angst love story. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth with this book!
If you like angst, this is your story! Enemies to tolerate to like to lovers! My heart really ached for Drew, the ‘poor little rich girl’. I felt like Bellamy carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. Neither had the perfect parents, but they both grew because of it. It’s apparent that there are “clicks” among all social ladders. It’s been a long time since I was a teen, but I ask myself, is this what teens are like today? Be prepared to be on a rollercoaster of emotions while reading No Good!
I hate to admit this but this is my first book from these authors, and it will most definitely not be my last one. This book kept me engaged and wanting to know how far Drew and Bellamy would take things. I thought this was your typical rich girl poor guy story but it turned out to be more. The tension between Bellamy and Drew were hot. It was almost like they were edging. Lol. There is so much more I can say but I don’t want to give anything away. If you want a good enemy to lover book then this is the one for you. I would most definitely recommend this book to others. One thing I will say that, although this book is a standalone I would recommend reading the first book in this series. Then you would know the reason for a particular person’s anger. I plan on reading that book soon.
A new story from this amazing duo.
No Good is the second book in Stevie J. Cole and L.P. Lovell’s series ‘Dayton High’. I enjoyed the story, it was filled with snarly, sassy banter, and hot, sexy characters. I was captivated from the opening lines…
And what a line it was, lol.
Drew and Bellamy are from opposite sides, not just of the street, or town, but of their worlds. She’s a tempestuous rich girl, and he’s the gorgeous bad kid from the trashy side of the town. Even so, these were a perfect fit and combination. They just worked.
And worked oh, so well. It’s a gritty, angsty determined kind of love story and one I will read again. Grab your copy today.

Review”I’m a villain who just wants the princess.”“Me? Oh, no, I’m the evil queen.”
With the anticipation of more heartbreak, more scorching hot scenes and swoon-worthy characters, my favorite duo of authors, Stevie J. Cole and L.P. Lovell take us back into the strained atmosphere of Dayton and Barrington, where the animosity between the two schools reached new levels. Their worlds coexists with a fierce hatred for each other. Pranks, violence and competition rage.
After Zepp and Red in No Prince, Drew and Bellamy’s story gripped me all along. When the Barrington girl proves herself as bad as the Dayton bad boy, sparks fly. I absolutely love a heroine who can stand her ground and a hero who doesn’t hold back. And OMG, were these two explosive together.
“She knew I was right—she craved this madness.”
Bellamy’s loyalty to his friends warmed my heart. But the way he takes care of his family? I might have fallen in love!
Did I mentioned how many times I burst oit laughing?
“Miss Morgan,” Coach shouted. “No aiming at the penile region.”“Sorry. Bad aim.”
With so many enotions, such tension and action, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. And I definitely cant wait for more!
I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ARC COPY OF THIS BOOK. THANK YOU!!!
Ahhhhh I loved Bellamy the dirty talking, hot as hell bad boy from the wrong side of town!
“I can make your life here an absolute hell if I want……………..and I think that’s exactly what i want to do”
An enemies to lovers story that’s hot as hell ,sexy as sin and just down right intoxicating , once I started I just couldn’t put it down. I loved that drew was no push over she gave as good as she got and it made for a thrilling read, add in the absolutely hilarious commentary from hendrix that you can’t help but lol too ( I cannot wait to see him fall haha)and you’ve got yourself a perfect angsty read that you will love from first to last page!!
Very highly recommend…..
” I’m a villain who just wants the princess”
4.5 So Good Stars!!!
No Good was sooo good. Bad boy meets rich girl. Bellamy and Drucella start out as enemies. He’s a bad boy on so many levels and she’s just trying to get through her senior year at a new school. The chemistry between these two explodes instantly on the pages and he brings out the bad girl in her. Their story is not your usual enemies to lovers/bully romance…no….they take things to a whole new level. Their love/hate relationship is over the top with a game of revenge. I was blown away with the extent that these two went to. Their story had all the feels and it was an emotional roller coaster to say the least. I loved these two and they both stole my heart. This is a bully romance that you do not want to miss. These two amazing authors brought their A game with this one. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us readers in the next book.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!
Young Adult/New Adult, Contemporary Romance, High School Bully, Enemies-to-Lovers
First Person, Dual-POV
This is book #2 of Dayton series, but it can be read as a standalone. Even though the setting is the same and the characters are interconnected each book has a different couple and their story arch is completed by the end of the story.
Contains issues and situations some may find triggering.
MY THOUGHTS
Multifaceted characters, with great, fast-paced plot, fun romance and amazing smut!
This was my first read by both authors and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a good book, but I truly enjoyed and was hooked from the beginning.
Another lovely surprise was to see that this was somehow connected with Black Mountain Academy, a series that I also love.
FRENZIED LOVE!!!
33/35 STARS – 4.5 STARS (between 31.5 stars and 33 stars)

Would I recommend? Yes, for all readers of crazy, love stories!
Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!
Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!
WHAT HAS REALLY WORKED FOR ME
Addictiveness: 5/5 As soon as I started reading this book I was hooked into their story. I loved both characters and became invested in their happiness from the beginning. As addictive as chocolate!!!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Complex characters with great background stories and good personal growth during the book.
Drew was a wonderful heroine. From the beginning Drew showed that she had backbone. She didn’t accept the bullying laying down, she fought back. I didn’t mind her mistakes, this is part of growing. I loved how her story arch showed her maturing into a more confident young woman and how Bellamy was a huge part of her personal growth.
Bellamy was an amazing antihero. He was a great bad boy. That boy was sweet and sour at the same time. He was hot and dangerous, but had his moments of easy and cute. I really enjoyed his journey into becoming the perfect boyfriend.
Secondary characters A few interesting characters that I can totally see having their own story in the series.
Villain/antagonists there were a few antagonists in the story.
They were all easy (ok, maybe not that easy) to love, to connect and understand!!!
Cover: art 4/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, subtitle 0/5, background 3/5 buy 4/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This one was ok, but it felt too generic. The guy is hot and it could totally be Bellamy, but I missed a few more hints that showed this cover was specifically made for this story. Maybe a subtitle would have helped. I would probably buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!
Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5 Amazing opening with an incredible ending. Superb plot, with well written dialogues and intense pace. Great setting, a few really good subplots with unexpected twists. Highest level of enjoyment!
I can’t think of one thing that I didn’t like in this plot. It was very cohesive, with great pace, good amount of intensity with some funny moments thrown in to create the perfect balance.
Romance: believable 4/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 Some would say not very romantic :). It was explosive! Their chemistry was undeniable and so many great scenes. The break-in was FIRE! Wow! Feverish romance!!!
Writing Style: 5/5 I loved it! My first time reading the authors and only have amazing things to say. All characters were well developed and easy to understand; the plot had the perfect equilibrium of darkness and fun; the romance was hot and the smut had some great description. Work of a wordsmith (in this case, two)!!!
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
Because I try to be very analytical and I don’t really believe in perfection…
Freshness: 4/5 It had the usual clichés of a bully high school romance, but at the same time it was so well written that it gave a fresh vibe with a few twists. As fresh as sweet tea during a summer afternoon!!!
You MAY read this because you follow the authors; you SHOULD read this because you like bully romance; you MUST read this because it was exceptionally well written!!!
No Good is so good.
In the book two we go back to Dayton High and Bellamy is having trouble with new girl Drew. What I liked is that story wasn’t just rich girl meets bad guy, but two different people finding home in eachother. Bellamy made me want to go in the book and hug him. Lovell and Cole know how to make bad boy be bad and still make you want to protect him from the world. Drew,a rich girl meets the poor world. She knows money makes the world go round but in this new school she finds out that it doesn’t warm your heart. Enemies to lovers story with all the feels and steamy scenes. Side character are also well written and Arlo has a piece of my heart.
This series is one of my favorite because it has a lot of truth to it as well as HEA part which makes it a perfect read.
*ARC received in exchange for honest review
Yes! What a fantastic read! It’s intense, has some darkish themes, ostensibly chalk and cheese lead characters and an engrossing storyline. I found myself totally immersed and egging on Drew to hold on in there, for Bellamy to do his worst and for Hendrix to keep up his brilliantly insane commentary.
Drew has untapped strength and Bellamy a backbone of steel and is old beyond his years. He hides his inner self from the greater world, while Drew is the catalyst for change. This is a book which is hanging on in my head, which is always a good sign and I found myself wanting more at the end…greedy much?
HOLY COW! I barely have words! This is a not-to-be-missed, absolutely fantastic story. I loved the first book in the series and this one is just as good. It has Bellamy front and center with his drug dealing, car stealing, party pals Hendrix and Wolf at his side. This group of guys are the hot bad boys of Dayton. The poverty ridden bad side of town with its dilapidated buildings, crime on every corner and no way out. The high school should have metal detectors but no one cares or has the money. Of course, the bad boys rule the school with violence. So arrogant and sexy! The flip side is the affluent Barrington with its million dollar mansions, country clubs and kids that use money like water. A better rivalry cannot be found among the pages. It’s rich against poor, violence against dollars, and the teens either fighting or having sex. When Barrington newcomer, Drew, ends up at Dayton it’s game on when she goes against Bellamy. It’s hot and funny and perfect. He stakes his claim and it’s the best hate/love to grace the pages in this must read. There’s so much to this story…a beautiful, emotional romance, heartbreak on both sides as Bell and Drew deal with their parents, the fabulous friendship between the guys, and the best youngster in Arlo, Bell’s little brother. I did miss Zepp, Hendrix’s brother, and Monroe from the first book. The writing was perfection, the characters fabulous, the romance hot and the ending beautiful. Bellamy and Drew are two of my favorite young lovers with their slow burn to love and white hot hate/love relationship. So many laughs as these two try to get the upper hand, Hendrix’s off the wall looniness, Arlo’s kid perspective and the rivalry between the two sides of town. On the flip side there’s tons of anguish, heartbreak and drama as the Dayton kids try to overcome their sad existence and Drew deals with a lonely life with absent parents and a new town. The mix of humor, emotions and romance is outstanding. I can’t wait for the next installment in this superb series. Will it be Hendrix or Wolf? No matter, I’m up for either!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
He was the reprobate king of Dayton high. I was the bitter princess cast out of my kingdom. And we were at war. It started off with a lie, and a one-night stand gone terribly wrong. When you sit down to read this book, you might want to make sure you have time to read it in one sitting because you’re not going to be able to put this book down. This is the story of Bellamy and Drew. These two characters together are fire. I swear they could set the entire world one fire with the snap of their fingers. If you read No Prince you met Bellamy. He was in that book and I was so happy to have his story. He is a one smoking hot bully that girls dream of and probably fear in equal measure. You know well to from reading books like this that all the girl love him and all the boys fear him. He is a butt for sure. He has this charm about him that will melt you one second and set you one fire with rage the next. Underneath all that though Bellamy is a good guy with a big heart and he really loves his family which is why he does the good things that he does. Bellamy is a character that you unwrap a little at a time and with each layer you peel back you fall harder and harder for him. Drew is a rich spoiled girl who has some serious daddy issues. She finds herself kicked out of her boarding school and forced to move back in with her father. She keeps her sanity be remembering that she only has two more months to make it with living in this mans home and suffering from his punishments. She still has to finish school too and she expects to be sent to a Prep school and is shocked when her dad sends her in to Dayton High. She has never been in a public school in her life and this is all new stuff for her. This is a school in a town that is rundown with graffitied lined buildings and nothing that she has ever experienced before in her life. She also is done not being seen or heard especially by her father and you just know that some serious trouble is about to happen from her at that moment. I mean after all the girl has nothing to lose really. The high school is the setting of the meeting of Drew and Bellamy and they share a night together and he can’t get this girl out of his head. This also gets us readers some serious love/hate banter that I swear just is epic and you will fell it in your very soul. These two are fire and I loved their story. I so don’t want to give to much away. But I loved these two and this book so much I could ramble on and on and one about them. You just need to get this book and read it. You won’t regret it and will fall in love with Bellamy and Drew and have a new favorite book of your own. I love that we get to read this book over and over as the years pass because it is one that I will never ever forget.
No Good (Dayton # 2) by Stevie J Cole & L.P. Lovell is Bellamy’s story. I was looking forward to this next book in the series. Thought I would be catching up with Zepp and Monroe. Was initially confused because I didn’t remember Bellamy so I had to go back to No Prince. After I did a brief catch up, I wasn’t sure if I even cared about Bellamy. Hendrick was the stand out for me. No Prince is not a necessary read for this book however I would advise reading it anyway. I really enjoyed it and like I said previously Hendrick is a fool. Bellamy after almost having a hook up in a friend’s van discovers the girl is a transfer into his high school. Obviously she doesn’t belong in his school and she lied about her age and name. Drew is being punished by her dad for getting kick out of boarding school. Her punishment is public school. Not fitting in she is shocked to see the guy from last night. Their story was one of bad boy meets rich girl with daddy issues. Eventhough they have a strong sexual attraction they end up with a love/ hate relationship. Bellamy and Drew were something else. Each trying to out do the other in their game of tit for tat. As we see their story together we also see their home life which isn’t a nice walk in the park. What started out a little apprehensive on my feelings about this story turned into more than I thought. Truly enjoyed they story. Loved seeing Hendrick again with his special form of crazy. Especially loved meeting Arlo. The ending left me with a big fat smile at the end. 4 stars for me.
What have I just read? This book was pure epic! This was an enemies to lovers at its finest, the game of who can one up one another. To getting her fired, to getting him arrested, what could possibly go wrong.
Oh I know, lines become blurred and that hate that you have once harboured is starting to thin out and is turning into a craving of lust, and stolen touches. This good girl has gone to the bad side and you can’t help but just hold on and enjoy this ride.
When I first found out about this book, I was so completely overjoyed and was so hooked on what these authors were going to give us and I hadn’t even read the blurb, seen the cover or knew much about it. As soon as I entered the Dayton World once again, it pulled me in just like it did with No Prince, the characters are what I love the most as they are so unique, one of a kind and are hilarious. They aren’t just you’re ordinary bad boys.
Bellamy is no different, move over Zepp! There’s this guy who may be taking you’re spot right now lol. His this small town bad boy, but this bad boy isn’t only who he is, his a guy who will do anything for the ones that he loves, that includes his boys, his mom, his brother and soon to be someone else. He will do anything and I mean anything to protect them,
Drew is something that I grew to love from the moment I met her, she just threw off these vibes that I was liking. Including explain it at first but as the story went on, she was definitely a heroine who you come to love to read. She’s strong, sassy, and of course fiery. She’s not afraid to stand up for herself and not let anyone walk all over her, she will dish it back to you just as good. So prepare yourself.
Together these two were amazing! This bad boy and this rich spoilt princess who has a craving for trouble and being bad just fit. Whenever they are together, you can feel the tension, the heat amping up. As much as they had the chemistry, and the connection, they also had this crazy banter.
Not only did I love their story but the side characters were life. Hendrix the clown with his one liners and his crazy talk were everything. He had me cracking up left right and centre and then we had wolf who is the silent and deadly type who I just need to know more about.
You definitely need to go check this book out and find out what all that fuss is about. No Good is a fun, enemies to lovers bully romance that you will just swoon over. It’s filled with such an amazing storyline, crazy banter and such insane chemistry that you just want to meet these characters.
