Turns out, my new boss hates three things:
1. Small town drama. Baby, we’ve got tons.
2. Pets in distress – and he’s their hero every time.
3. Anybody poking around his past. Like me. Oh, crud.
But how could I resist the best mystery in Heart’s Edge?

I loved the setting: a small town, and the main character: a brooding, alpha hunk vet. His assistant I didn’t love as much – I’m not a big fan of the shy, clumsy virgin types, but for this story it worked. The author did a good job of building all kinds of tension into the story, both the vet’s inner tension, and the outer sexual tension between him and his virgin vet assistant. The plot revolves around a shocking secret that I found interesting though not very believable. The antagonist was a bit over the top. But it was an enjoying read, with hot, passionate sex and a very meaningful HEA.
I loved the mysterious Doc and his story, I knew something was up with him when we found out he was close friends with the elusive Nine when he was helping Warren with his issues, but this brooding hero had so much baggage he carried even though he should have and could have shared it with his friends. Ember comes to town and even though she is shy, clumsy, and young she works hard and can seem to be the only person that can read Doc. Doc tries to deny her for so long but then events happen and some bad people from his past come to town so to keep Ember safe he has to keep her close and by doing this she breaks down his walls he has built so high. It is an intense book with a lot of action and some chapters can be a little too detailed but overall I loved Doc and Ember’s story.
I really enjoyed getting to know Ember and Gray. They are such wonderful characters and contrasts. She’s young, shy, naive and sweet; he’s world-weary, scarred, cynical and cold. Yet, when they are together, whether it be professionally or socially, they play off each other so well that you just know they are meant for each other. The storyline centers around Gray’s veterinary practice and some deep, dark secret that nearly destroyed the town a decade ago. You’re kept guessing until nearly the end, with lots of action, suspense, and characters that make you want to scream and cringe! The secondary characters in this book are a laugh-riot! I truly got a kick out of Ember’s dramatic mom, and her co-worker, Pam. i can’t wait to see what’s next for this beautiful town and it’s people!

Oh, yes! Here’s comes another stormy, searing, unpredictable romance by Nicole Snow. Who doesn’t love a hot vet with an animal side? Doc is a bad doctor with a scary past and a heart of gold. His quest to save Heart’s Edge and be with Ember together was as unputdownable as all Nicole’s stuff. Don’t miss this!
“Doc” Gray Caldwell is the keeper of Heart’s Edge secrets and its protector.
Ember Delwen is his newly hired vet tech who is too young, too innocent and a bit of a klutz but underneath she’s filled with compassion, fire and passion. He thinks too old, too broken and too jaded for her, yet she calls to him on every level. When players from a nefarious plot and past local tragedy resurface putting the entire town including Ember in jeopardy, Gray enlists Warren and Blake in helping him putting an end to it, once and for all.
This is a difficult to describe book. Don’t get me wrong overall I liked it but, it seemed to me to take a while to pick up some momentum. Also, this is more of a drama/suspense/thriller with a multinational corporation dealing in some nefarous activities than your typical love interest romance. For more than the first half of the book, there are some blank spots about people and events that have taken place in this small town of Heart’s Edge that have you at a disadvantage as you read. It eventually fills in the blanks you just have to be patient.
The building romance between between Gray and Ember is at a slow simmer. Gray (Doc) has walls and shows no emotion. Ember is innocence and brightness. There’s obvious attraction between the two but, it takes a good portion of the book before these co-workers take their interactions to the next level. When they do, it is hot and no one is disappointed!
There are secrets. There are villians. There are hidden agendas. There’s strange activity in this small town and it becomes too much when Gray and Ember are right in the middle of it. When the really exciting part (towards the end) comes along, it is very difficult to put the book down and you will be very satisfied with it.
Dr. Gray Caldwell and vet tech Ember Delwen I couldn’t put it down till the end, OMG there story full of suspense, secrets, Action packed, dark secrets come to light plus one them there past comes crashing back into there life, The twists and turns that will have you flipping to the next page see what happens. Want to no more well you just have to get on release day find out the whole story, Loved it Nicole
So the vet in Heart’s Edge has a lot of secrets! Surprise, surprise! His new vet tech is a super klutz who has a knack for getting herself in trouble except when she is taking care of their fur baby patients. Ember just graduated, and this is her first real job. Finding a home in a small town on the edge of the world should be quiet, but Heart’s Edge’s dark past is threatening to come crawling out. Lots of action and drama per Nicole Snow’s usual! A fun romp!
This was a long story with a lot of intrigue. At times I was confused because the secrets took a while to come out. After saying that, I enjoyed this book. It was sweet at times, intense, and heartwarming.
I don’t know what rock I’ve been living under that I’ve missed out on Nicole Snow’s books, but I’m glad I finally discovered this one! Wonderfully written story with lots of layers and plenty of steam. I plan to read every last word she’s written after this one!

Meet Dr. Gray Caldwell. Sexiest veterinarian in the small town of Hearts Edge. Women flock to him even when their pets aren’t sick. And Ember is now working for him. Sexy yes, but he’s cold hearted. And Ember has to learn what makes him tick so she can have a decent working relationship and get her job done. But there is an attraction between these two yet Dr Caldwell has way too many secrets, especially with the woman who has come to visit him at his clinic. What is Gray hiding and how will it effect Ember? Great romance with a mystery intertwined.

Raw, passionate romance at its finest. This turned out to be a great read.
Some scenes are deliciously hilarious. Lots of puns. I so very much enjoyed this book. It’s a sweet romance story, but with lots of action. It makes you think on lifes choices you make
What a pleasure to read a clean book for a change

I loved this book, it had me enthralled from the beginning to the end. Nicole has a way of writing that keeps her readers intrigued and on the edge of our seats in anticipation of what could possibly happen next. Hearts Edge has secrets from years past, and In this book we get some answers to the questions about the fire that burned down the Paradise Hotel and the legend of “Nine” ”in the first book, No Perfect Hero. A wonderfully written storyline and characters that grab your heart and soul. There’s humor, suspense, danger, a slow burning passion that sparks an inferno between Gray and Ember. I highly recommend this book as a MUST READ! You will not be disappointed. Hope there will be more about Hearts Edge.

In this book we meet Ember Delwen and Dr Gray Caldwell. Well we are back in Heart’s Edge. As you remember we were introduced to this town in No Perfect Hero. In this book Ember is a vet tech working for Gray. She wonders at times how she even made it to this point with her clumsiness and her inability to talk around hot guys or maybe just one hot guy. Gray isn’t looking for a woman and knows all the women in Heart’s Edge are ready to put a ring on that man. So he thinks he is perfectly safe with having Ember around. The problem is both of them can feel things heating up but want to do nothing to rock the boat of their working relationship. When the past comes back though and secrets are revealed will they come out of this together or will their HEA go up in smoke?
This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. Trust me there is so much I want to tell you about this book. However I don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
Nicole Snow creates dangerously thrilling stories filled with passion and love and No Good Doctor was no exception. Ember is a newly hired vet tech in Heart’s Edge. Gray Caldwell is a secretive and stoic vet who owns The Menagerie. Gray is a no non sense tall, dark, and handsome type that Ember should stay away from but there’s about Gray that intrigues her. No Good Doctor is a captivating must read from Nicole Snow that readers won’t want to put down. This is an intriguing story about righting past wrongs and stopping a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Readers will fall in love with Ember and Gray. I absolutely loved this story.

Good read. Hope to read Blake’s story!
Nicole Snow never fails to impress me with her ability to create characters that have depth and huge personalities and No Good Doctor is no exception to this rule. I loved the story. It was witty, entertaining and well-written. The story is about Ember and Gray. Ember is a vet tech who starts working for Gray who is gorgeous but has a lot of secrets but it turns out that Ember doesn’t do so well with secrets. Gray is a complex man with a dark side and when his past comes back he realises what Ember means to him and the lengths he will go to to keep her safe.
