I was first introduced to Nabeel Qureshi in the documentary, American Gospel (2018) and I immediately was curious about his journey from Islam to Christianity. Mr. Qureshi shared his journey of faith in the New York Times bestselling Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus (2014), which I have not read yet. However, in No God But One, the reader gets a sense of his journey to faith as he examines Islam and Christianity to their bare bones and answers the hard questions. No God but One is a great resource that is gripping, thought-provoking and challenging while being respectful and insightful. I read the eBook edition which has bonus content of a Q&A with Nabeel Qureshi as well as access to videos in which Mr. Qureshi answers some of the common questions about Islam and Christianity. No God but One is an amazing, in-depth examination between Islam and Christianity. I highly, highly recommend No God but One.
No God but One is available in paperback, eBook, and audiobook.
If you want a well argued case for believing Christianity over Islam, this is the book.
Very helpful in thinking about those of other faiths and how to discuss.
Great book, looks closely at the differences, pros, cons, of Islam and Christianity. Studied out and written by a convert from Islam to Christianity. A book worth reading more than once.
Outstanding book from a great communicator.
For those who think Jehovah and Allah are the same God, think again. This book is full of interesting research. The vocabulary is post-college level, but the message comes through loud and clear! If you are a seeker, or even if you know exactly where your heart is, you will enjoy reading this informative book!
Nabeel concerted to Christianity after several years of comparing and seeking the beliefs of his Muslim faith with the Christian Faith of his roommate while in premed. Written to his brothers and sisters in the Muslim faith, the book presents a clear understanding of both religions and why he chose Christianity.
Wonderful book, I have not finished it yet, but learned so much already and I learned it from an ex-Muslim who knew more about Christianity that I did who was born into it. Sadly I found out the author had died at the age of 34. God takes the good ones!
MY VIEWS AND THE AUTHORS VIEWS ARE COMPLETE OPOSITES
Putting his wonderful story in another book, Nabeel Qureshi uses his experiences to expound upon the information that ultimately changed his mind about Islam and Christianity. With his unique voice and difficult journey, the author explores both religions deeply, and the facts don’t lie.
Nabeel explains the beliefs of Islam, his first religion, and Christianity, the religion he became convinced was true. Taking an unbiased observer’s perspective, he categorically and systematically looks at both religions. Looking at the characters of Jesus and Mohammad, the historical reliability of the accounts of their lives, and the integrity of the Bible and the Qur’an, Qureshi compares and contrasts the available information about these two very different religions.
I recommend this book for both Muslims and Christians who would like to know more about Islam and Christianity. Nabeel is the perfect person to explain this topic. Definitely a book worth reading.
If you’re a Christian looking to widen your horizon on understanding Islam more then I recommend this book! If you’re anyone else then I still recommend this book! No matter who you are I believe you can glean a lot from reading how a former Muslim now Christian views the differences between Islam and Christianity. Now, I do greatly recommend for you to read Seeking Allah Finding Jesus first. I’d say this book is more of a sequel than a stand alone. Easy to understand and packed with fundamental information between the two religions.
