Unbreakable. Lethal. Rip-your-heart-out fine.
Now let me tell you about him…
Oliver Major was the only lunk brave enough to tame me.
Strict. Rich. Deliciously handsome. The right kind of scary.
And the scary kind of right.
He was my rugged oasis in high-stakes corporate hell.
The day he disappeared without a trace sheared my soul.
Years later, I’m on a date with destiny.
A risky mission … soul.
Years later, I’m on a date with destiny.
A risky mission seeking answers to my train wreck of a life.
Then a little tip from Heart’s Edge blows open the shocking truth.
What Galentron Inc took from me isn’t gone.
Maybe I didn’t sign myself over to the devil for nothing.
Think this is my big redemption?
Think again.
Behind every villainess, there’s a story.
Beneath every ice princess, an old flame.
And once, there was a man who stole my heart.
The same big bad protector who’s come back to haunt me.
Oh, the things I’d give to taste Oliver one more time…
…but how can I ever forgive him?
From Wall Street Journal bestselling author Nicole Snow – the bad girl with a heart of stone rediscovers the hero she thought she’d lost. An unlikely Happily Ever After with a twist. Reading the previous Heroes of Heart’s Edge books first is recommended.

Revenge is Served
Every villain has a story. Villains are not born, they are made. Fuchsia has her own tale that led her to the woman she has become.
She doesn’t remember her childhood. She was bred to be a spy. She was a stone cold killer when necessary. Galentron created the monster she became. They were truly evil.
When Fuchsia sees Oliver at a company meeting, she decides he may just be the man to help her take them down. They are both in deep with the company. Finding a plan that will work will be a challenge.
The woman who didn’t know how to feel, falls for the president of operations. Galentron knows all and sees all. The happiness that Fuchsia has found gets brutally ripped from her.
After losing everything, Fuchsia becomes ruthless and unstobbable. It’s been fifteen years and she’s ready to end the man that ruined her life and take back what belongs to her.
A romantic suspense told in flashback. The final piece of the puzzle of the crew from Heart’s Edge. Fuchsia transformed from the woman Galentron created into the woman she was meant to be. With secrets that were finally uncovered and closure as the final nail was put into the Galentron coffin, Fuchsia gets the HEA she always deserved.
Nicole Snow knows how to slay a book. I honestly thought there was no way to redeem Fuchsia. Only Nicole proved me wrong. She’s the only author I know of that could have changed my mind. Oh boy did she. Not only can she write a killer story how about those book covers?
I read an advanced copy of this book.
Infamous Fuchsia Delaney shows her heart…and in the end, all’s right with the world
This is one outstanding opening to conclude the Heart’s Edge series of books! Love the ending when the whole gang gets one last hurrah too. In this book we find out what events made Fuchsia who she was and why she did the things she did in past Heart’s Edge books. Powerful!
Fuchsia gave herself that name after being born Patty Brin. It identifies her in her new capacity. She won’t allow feelings to get in the way anymore. She’s wily, relentless, vampish, lethal and …kind??? At 23yo she meets Oliver Major, the 35yo President of Operations at Galentron. They have a steamy fling and make plans. What happens to those plans? Why does she crave revenge? To whom and for what?
Oh. My. Word. This was undoubtedly a ride on a bumpy road, in a good way. Ms. Snow goes from past to present and back to help explain things. Honestly, this flashback technique was very helpful. Filled in many gaps. There were steamy moments, scary moments, funny moments, flirty moments and even tearful moments but we do get closure along with Fuchsia, Oliver and the rest of the Heart’s Edge crew.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it gets way more than 5 stars! If you have read any of the previous Heart’s Edge books, this is a must-read. Even if you haven’t, you will feel the passion with which Ms. Snow shows us the Fuchsia you would want on your team. I loved it!
I did not read the previous books in the Heroes of Heart’s Edge series before reading this and there were times that I felt like I missed something, but not enough to mar my enjoyment of this book. Another great job by Nicole Snow.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I didn’t know what too expect with Fuschia’s story, she was always the villain but reading her story you can see why you have her pegged all wrong. Great story with great characters of course the ending was perfect.
I have to say…this made me smile!! We all love a bad guy, and we all love when they redeem themselves, yes? I know I do! But this time it’s a bad lass! We meet her throughout the Hearts Edge Series (if you haven’t read it yet, your missing out!!!) and she’s just downright nasty, evil, no conscience, and yet you know there’s a story there!
The series is based around Galetron, a company who destroyed a town, destroyed people, killed others and should never existed in the first place? So we meet the different characters, get their story (which although it’s all based round Galetron, everyone’s story is unique!) and we fall in love with them! Throughout it, Fuschia is there, sometimes destroying, sometimes helping; and when I seen her story was to be released – well excited!!!!
And it didn’t disappoint!…Fuschia is a complicated lass, but there’s reasons as to why she is the way she is! And when you realise why, you’ll be in her corner cheering her on!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this read, loved Fuschia, loved getting a quick catch up with the others and can’t wait to see what Nicole brings is next!!
4.5
Behind every villainess is a story, and this is Fuchsia Delaney’s story. How she became the infamous woman she is today because of Galentron and the one man to ever own her heart, Oliver Major. She isn’t just the ice cold woman she appears to be. Fuchsia has a heart and emotions and they are about to be shown. Galentron took everything away from Fuchsia 15 years ago and she’s been on a revenge mission ever since. Oliver and Fuchsia have one heck of a story from beginning to end. You couldn’t help but hope for a happy end for these two.
I was so happy to finally get Fuchsia Delaney’s story! The woman everyone loved to hate. We got a chance to find out what made her the way she is. Her story was a roller coaster ride of emotions with suspense, secrets, drama, betrayal, loss and rediscovery. Fuchsia found what she thought was lost to her forever. Her happy ever after! I loved this book and the Hearts Edge series! I’m sorry to see it end! Thank you Nicole for giving us this fantastic series!
All she wanted was the truth and to get it, she would do what ever it took. Fuchsia has led a hard life she was made into the cold hard person she has become but now she wants justice. Oliver helped to build Galentron never expecting what it would become. He has lost the one woman that he ever loved but now he is back to reclaim what is his. Together they are a force to be reckoned with but will Fuchsia and Oliver rekindle what they once had or is it tool late? This story draws you in from the start and have you in Olive and Fuchsia’s corner to get their happily ever after.

Since we were first introduced to Fuchsia I was hoping Nicole would give us her story and boy did she. You knew she had a messed up past just by the way she was throughout the series but messed up is an understatement.
Grab a drink, few tissues and curl up somewhere comfortable because once you start this you won’t be able to put it down!!
The story we’ve all been waiting for… Fuchsia Delaney. The people of Hearts Edge won’t even speak her name in fear that she might materialize. She’s on a mission but that mission is unclear and who’s side she’s on is a guess. Once a deadly agent for Galentron, now she is looked upon as rogue, benefiting only herself. This story shows a more humanized side of Fuchsia and the hell she’s been through and all she’s lost. Oliver Major worked side by side with CEO of Galentron, Leland Durham… monster extraordinaire. The connection that Fuchsia and Oliver felt when they first met can only be described as raw passion. Two deadly agents with similar thoughts in mind… destroy Galentron from within. Now fifteen years later Fuchsia is finally taking her chance to get answers… what happened to her and Oliver’s daughter that they said was stillborn yet Fuchsia heard her cry?? She also knows the attack that killed Oliver fifteen years ago was planned, but why?? She just didn’t expect to be saved by a dead man when she cornered Leland with her questions. Oliver barely survived the attack and went underground as a dead man to destroy Galentron and keep an eye on other things too. The only thing to bring him out of his status is to save his wildcat. Now we have two fugitives clamoring to get answers and justice. One thing Fuchsia doesn’t expect is the hero’s of Hearts Edge and their families stepping forward to help finish together what started together. What will Fuchsia do now that she has the answers needed to move forward?? Is there a chance for Oliver and his wildcat after all these years?? Ohhhhh myyyyyyy goodness!!! This hot and explosive story may be called a novella but get ready for one helluva ride. You get his/her POV along with their backstory merging with the present. A MUST READ!!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorites collection from a favorite one click author. Looking forward for the next book from Nicole Snow.
Awesome ending to the Hearts Edge series! We finally get the story of Fushia and it certainly did not disappoint! We finally get to see Fushia as a real person with real feelings! I have enjoyed this series from beginning to end and can’t wait to see what Nicole a snow gives us next!
Remember that horrible woman, Fuchsia Delaney, that seemed to cause all sorts of trouble in Heart’s Edge? Well No Fair Lady by Nicole Snow tells the story of Fuchsia and shows that maybe, just maybe Fuchsia isn’t quite as bad as she appeared to be. This is a short novella that brings the other Heart’s Edge stories together by telling the back story to the one villain we all loved to hate but didn’t know why. Once again Snow reaches in and brings the characters to life and lets us read all about what shaped them into the heroes and villains that they are. Now I can’t give anything away on the story line, but I will say Fuchsia Delaney has a side to her that was not revealed in any of the other books and it just might surprise you. 5-stars for another great story by Nicole Snow, No Fair Lady.
No Fair Lady was a great story. The plot was strong, it was packed with many emotions. The story was written well. Nicole snow did a wonderful job on it.
Oliver and Fuchsia were strong characters, there wasn’t anything easy about their lives. They were went through so much, especially Oliver. He was a fighter, he wouldn’t give up.
This was a great story, I’d suggest reading it. Oliver and Fuchsia’s journey will take you on a rollercoaster.
Thank you, Nicole Snow. Great work 🙂
No Fair Lady concludes the Heart’s Edge series. Nicole Snow’s writing takes you through a roller coaster of emotions, with the perfect amount of suspense, secrets, drama, heartache, revenge, mystery, intrigue, steamy moments, that all leads to a HEA.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
Oliver Major helped build Galentron and paid a hefty price for doing so. Not because of the evil it had become. No, that wasn’t Oliver. It was because of what he lost. His woman…Fuchsia Delaney. Now he needs to protect what was once his. Oliver worked on the inside trying to take down Galentron, but in the end he’d failed.
Fuchsia is on a mission. She’d also lost a lot because of Galentron, hell the entire town of Heart’s Edge had. Fuchsia wants revenge against every single person who’s crossed her and made her who she is today. She’s going to bring pain to the one’s who’ve caused her pain. She wants the truth.
No one understands why Fuchsia is the way she is. She hides her true self. Protection drives the pain inside. What you don’t show can’t hurt you and won’t be used against you. She’s hard, calloused. That’s what everyone in Heart’s Edge assumes. If they never heard her name or saw her face again, it would be too soon. Maybe one day they’ll realize why it all happened. Maybe by then, it wouldn’t even matter.
There’s a reason for all the madness. The truth. Fuchsia just wants the truth. And if we’ve learned anything about Fuchsia, she will stop at nothing to get it.
MYSTERY, INTRIGUE AND ADVENTURE !
We learn a lot about Fuchsia, what makes her tick, what keeps her up at night and what keeps her going. We learn she wasn’t always heartless. She had dreams.
You definitely need to read this book! It is crucial to Heart’s Edge’s story and everyone that resides there. BRILLIANT ! LOVED EVERY PAGE !
It takes a talented writer to present a reader with the villain of a series and to get them not only interested in the story, but also to end up rooting for the villain to have her HEA. In this case that is… Fuchsia Delaney. If you have read the last few stories in this series then you are familiar with this woman. She seems to be heartless, mean and determined to in her role as villain.
I have always been a sucker for the anit0hero, what made them tick and their thought process behind their choices and actions. The author does an amazing job here if allowing the reader behind the scenes and into Fuchsia’s mind and heart to really see who she truly is. I ended up rooting for her in every way. She is way more then we have been presented before. I really enjoyed this journey.
A second chance, revenge, truth are all presented in this story and it was a killer story. I had a jaw dropping moment or two and I loved the roundup of the entire story line and characters that were revisited. What a way to end this series with the redemption and heart felt story of the villain. I want to talk about everything but don’t want to give things away. I will just say I am beyond happy with this story and I think the author did Fuchsia justice; much more than I thought possible. I know there are other characters in this story but I really connected with Fuchsia and found myself in aww of her strength and determination; such an amazing character. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.
No Fair Lady by Nicole Snow a more than fair five-star read. I loved the Heroes of Hearts Edge series and this was like the cherry on top, it just added the extra something to the series. We finally get to find out more about Fuchsia Delaney it gives us the back story but compacts it to the most compelling and dramatic story. It breaks you but it also puts you together, it just gives the best ending. I am a huge Nicole Snow fan but this one was the cherry on her writing, it really is sublime.
