“What a box of tricks! This full-throttle thriller, dark and driving, rivals Agatha Christie for sheer ingenuity and James Patterson for flat-out speed. Swift, sharp, and relentless.” — A. J. Finn, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Woman in the WindowA brilliant, edgy thriller about four strangers, a blizzard, a kidnapped child, and a determined young woman desperate to unmask and … strangers, a blizzard, a kidnapped child, and a determined young woman desperate to unmask and outwit a vicious psychopath.
A kidnapped little girl locked in a stranger’s van. No help for miles. What would you do?
On her way to Utah to see her dying mother, college student Darby Thorne gets caught in a fierce blizzard in the mountains of Colorado. With the roads impassable, she’s forced to wait out the storm at a remote highway rest stop. Inside are some vending machines, a coffee maker, and four complete strangers.
Desperate to find a signal to call home, Darby goes back out into the storm . . . and makes a horrifying discovery. In the back of the van parked next to her car, a little girl is locked in an animal crate.
Who is the child? Why has she been taken? And how can Darby save her?
There is no cell phone reception, no telephone, and no way out. One of her fellow travelers is a kidnapper. But which one?
Trapped in an increasingly dangerous situation, with a child’s life and her own on the line, Darby must find a way to break the girl out of the van and escape.
But who can she trust?
With exquisitely controlled pacing, Taylor Adams diabolically ratchets up the tension with every page. Full of terrifying twists and hairpin turns, No Exit will have you on the edge of your seat and leave you breathless.

It was hard to put this book down.
I really really enjoyed the story. Darby Thorne is hard-core! From one minute to the next I agonized over what was going to happen. Four strangers at a rest stop and a child in danger. It was crazy how things turned out and how twisted the story got. It had an ending that I definitely did not see coming, which is exactly what I love when reading a book. I will definitely be reading another novel by Taylor Adams, make no mistake. This would probably make a good movie!
Awesome book
I LOVED this book. I would give it 10 stars! The main character is wonderful. The bad guys are plentiful . It has everything including a blizzard. I have been waiting for another book from this author.
Super fast read, enjoyed it.
Twists and turns galore! You don’t see any of it coming. Kee\Pt me on the edge of my seat till the end.

Read this in one day. Couldn’t wait to see how it turned out. Kept me interested until the lady page!
No Exit opens with an ingenious, chilling setup and then delivers a wicked ride of psychological tension. Taylor Adams is a master of suspense. I’m already impatient to see what he does next.
[A]n intense, brutal, no-holds-barred thriller dripping with adrenaline; a heart-pounding story of courage and sacrifice featuring a heroine unlike any you’ve ever seen. Don’t start unless you’re prepared to read straight through, because I guarantee you will not be able to stop turning the pages.
OH boy what an action packed thrill ride that was. I will never want to stop at s rest area at night again! Several twists and turns and edge of your seat action. This one should definitely be a movie!!
This was another suspenseful thriller. A young lady learns about her mother’s terminal cancer and gets caught in a blizzard in a mountain pass going to see her. She is stranded in a rest area building with 4 others until the storm and roads clear. She stumbles upon a nine-year-old girl caged in a van. She is determined to rescue her. That sets the stage for an arresting read. The author slowly unravels the story as she runs into one problem after another. Highly recommended.
The book reminds me a lot of the Jack Daniels series by JA Konrath. Everything that can happen, does. This book takes place over a period of 24-hours. Stranded at a rest stop during a blizzard, Darby sees a young girl locked inside a van. She doesn’t know who the van belongs too, so she doesn’t know who to trust for help. Kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I am venturing into new reading territory as I expand my own writing, and NO EXIT strikes me as a great entry into the thriller genre. I thought I’d figured out the whole thing from page 2; alas, I was wrong, and gladly so. It’s a wicked and quick novel, kept me up late last night to finish it.
Wow! This is an amazing book! It is full of twists and turns that I never saw coming. I will not say what the book is about because you must read it for yourself. It definitely will. It disappoint.
