I absolutely adored this book from Grace Roberts. If you love sweet, small-town romances with wonderful characters, this is a must read.
Second chance single dad
Oh, what a sweet, sweet story! Little Sophie is so darling and the love story between dad and their new neighbor is really nicely done. The only thing I didn’t like is it felt like Adam was holding on to his feelings for his dead wife too long (feeling like he is being unfaithful, etc). From what I have observed, usually by the time people start to date again after the death of a spouse, they are ready for a new relationship.
This is a nice start to what looks to be a lovely new series.

His new neighbor once was involved with someone she wish she had never met and has sworn off men. But as usual fates steps in. Their lives become intertwined and it is intriguing to see their HEA.

No End To Love is the first book I’ve read by Grace Roberts and it won’t be the last. This is the first book of Love In Spring Series and it is amazing. The storyline was engaging and kept my interest as well as the drama, twists, mistakes and emotional turmoil created tension for the couple. Adam and Ellie are both strong characters and that made for a well balanced couple. The attraction between the couple simmered along nice as they engaged in a chemistry that was steamy and hot. I will be reading more from this author!

I completely fell in love with Ellie, Adam and his daughter Sofie. The story is so well written I could picture the people and all the places so clearly! I loved the main caracters but also the support caracters. The story of how Adam lost his wife is just hearth breaking and all the hard times that both Ellie and Adam has gone through touched my hearth. I laught, shed a few tears and just enjoyed this story. Highly recommend this book and I can not wait to read the next book about Adams brother and Ellies best friend! I hope many more books are to come with this big loving family and the small town they live in!

Ellie was involved with a man who was dishonest so she moves to Spring Harbor where she inherits a home from her grandmother. After the death of his wife Adam and his little daughter move in next door and they quickly become friends. They have closed off their hearts to love but maybe they both need each other more than they realize.

The book opens with a heart-rending scene where Adam loses his wife in a hostage situation. In the years afterward, his guilt at his failure as both a husband and a police officer are soul crushing. He actually retreats to his hometown with his daughter to heal and regroup as he decides how to move on his life. Ellie has inherited her grandparents’ cottage at the beach, and her new neighbor happens to be Adam. Ellie is a preschool teacher, and Adam’s daughter, Sophie, will be one of her students. They both feel an immediate attraction towards one another, but because of their histories, neither is quite ready for a relationship. But a friendship grows as they start to learn more about each other and interact because of Sophie.
Will Adam get over his guilt about his wife? Will he be able to move on to a new relationship, as his wife had pressed him to do in her last moments? Will Ellie’s past with men, which caused the professional problems for her, keep her from allowing a relationship with Adam?
Oh, my gosh! This book is quite an emotional ride from beginning to end. The opening scene is breathtaking and packs an emotional wallop. You can’t help but feel for Adam as he goes through it; the author did a great job making Adam a sympathetic character from the scene. It allows us to understand his struggles in the book to a much greater degree than if she had just told us about his past. I love Adam’s relationships with his mother and his brothers. I enjoy it when stories like this show a loving and supportive family. Too often in novels, families cause strife and conflict. I love it when the family is safe harbor, a soft place to fall. But Adam is now ready to spread his wings and become a bit more independent, and his family is supportive of that, too. They just want him to be happy.
Ellie is such a worthy heroine. Her backstory about how she came to her profession is beautifully rendered; she is genuinely a good and decent person who cares about everyone she meets. She wants to make a difference for her students. She’s the perfect preschool teacher, especially for the little ones who are having troubles in their lives. The two children highlighted in this story are both sweet and adorable in their own ways. Sophie is precocious, verbal, and precious. Poor little Sammy, he’s been through so much in his short life. Even though, of course, this is a fictional account, it is sweet to see how Ellie is so loving and compassionate with these little souls who have known so much tragedy.
The author has a very good sense of pacing and story structure. She has beautifully paired the opening scene with a scene at the end that gives Adam closure about his feelings of inadequacy. It was perfectly done.
I’ll freely admit this book made me ugly cry more than once; but to me, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If you love heartfelt contemporary romance is a lot of depth and complexity, you might enjoy this book as well.
This is a really sweet second chance romance and quite an emotional read at times. The plot is really good and I was quickly hooked it made me laugh and hade me crying but most of all it kept me reading right until the very end. A really good read
The book is a good sweet small town romance read. The story has a good story line, and the story is a well written read. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is an enjoyable sweet second chance love story read.

Not realistic and extremely redundant.
A Love In Spring Series:
No End To Love #1 – I enjoyed reading this story and the three main characters until the constant repetition got on my nerves. The redundancy about the same feelings and fears became boring rather quickly and by the mug scene, I grew to dislike the three characters. Ellie’s reaction to Adam’s pain over the broken mug was extreme, she was wrong. Sophie is a spoilt brat that needs rules and discipline (not physical), not “what a pretty baby, I can’t refuse her”. E knows better and A is weak. I couldn’t stomach any more of them and stopped reading the rest of chapter 23, started skimming but stopped with the hostage situation and Sophie’s refusal to leave E. Dee can’t pick up a three-year-old? I did not find these characters realistic in their thoughts and behaviors.
I don’t understand why the common theme with authors is that the widow(er) thinks they are unfaithful to their dead spouse when they become interested in another person. As a widow, 31 years married, 11 years widowed, I find this theme idiotic and stupid and boring since it appears to be the only behavior the widow(er) is allowed, not realistic in my world. I do know one widower that keeps himself depressed, eight years after his wife passed, but he’s a manipulator and expects everyone to kowtow to him.
This would have been a lovely story if the author had used some original thoughts and not joined the herd with the same old theme. I volunteered to review this book since I enjoyed her A Love In Spring Series. I received this book through Booksprout. 2*
Unplanned Love #2 – I refused to read this ARC because No End To Love was so dissatisfying.
A Love In Spring Series End.
Healing Our Hearts #1 – This is my first read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A delightful, heartbreaking, heartwarming story of healing. The heart wrenching sadness that the two main characters faced and their recovery, along with the discovery of love for each other made it difficult to put the book down.
This tearjerker is well written and the storylines and journeys mesmerizing. Ms. Roberts does a wonderful job with her writing style, vivid descriptions and fascinating characters. While sad, there is plenty of joy and blessings making this a well balance feel good story. I contacted the author to review her books and received this through Booksprout. 5*
Finding Our Hearts #2 – This book starts two years after Declan’s passing with the emphasis on David’s story with the family playing large roles. While well written and well thought out, I didn’t get wrapped up in this story as I did with Healing, until the last half. Oh, the first half was good but for me the story took off midway through. At this point, the story takes several twists and the pace is rapid and filled with suspense.
We have all the lovable characters from Healing and the new characters are likable, although there are some unlovable ones, too. Ciara the bestie of Claire, David’s love interest, is a hoot. But Claire is a complex person. There are insecurities, fears, avoidance, heartaches to name some of the storylines/themes. Heartwarming and filled with love; an excellent pairing with Healing, which should be read first, but it’s not necessary. Really though, read them both. I contacted the author to review her books. 5*
Adam and Ellie have both gotten raw deals in their relationships. For Adam he watched his wife die in his arms and Ellie was betrayed by a man who passed himself off as a man in the process of getting a divorce. Both had given up on love broken by life’s experiences. Can they take their broken parts and piece back their hearts for a happily ever after?
