OMG!!!! What a fantastic read. This book has it all. Please be prepared when you read this to expect tears not just sad but also happy tears. Brax and Jem have a relationship that every little girl dreams of when she thinks about growing up and marrying a guy. The hell that Brax has to go through to try and win his wife back is no smooth ride. Although Jem has no recollection of her life deep down her soul and body do in a way. I have been very lucky and fortunate enough to be one of the early people to get a read through this book. Jodi you have done a wonderful job portraying the characters in this book. I am excited and can’t wait to read the reviews that are to come on this book as I truely believe you will win over a lot of hearts with this story.
I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could. Writing a review for this is hard ‘cuz I’m just lost for words and that doesn’t happen very often.
I think this book could become such a great movie one day!
I loved this beautiful love story from beginning until end and yes, I had tears in my eyes. What would you do when the love of your life doesn’t remember you at all? Would you give up hope or fight every single day to make them remember? Does that one true love, a love you can’t live without, a love you can’t breathe without, survive the one thing you thought would never happen?… It’s so easy to give up, and after reading this story, you just can’t help but hope and believe that it’s possible… to find your way back to each other…
Jemma and Braxton have been inseparable ever since they were neighbours at a young age. They have loved each other every step of the way into adulthood and when that one faithful day happens, it’ll take everything to try and hold on to something so pure. Every day Brax tries to remind Jemma of the love they shared through writing her letters. Will he succeed in getting her to remember or will they, in the end, forever be apart?…
Find out in this amazing love story that will break your heart but put it back together.
You just know this is going to be a beautiful love story but wow it was so much more.
You feel for Braxton, his love, his reason for living. He doesn’t remember after a horrible accident.
So begins the letters, reminding her of their time together.
The letters, the charms, the memories.
I cried pretty much during most of this book, the sad parts, the happy parts it was so beautifully written and I find it easy to get lost in the pages.
Every tear was worth it.
OMG, I held out for so long to read this book. I’ve read really dark books before and not been affected by them, but for some reason, I held off reading this book because I knew instinctively after reading the blurb for it, that it was going to be an incredibly emotional read. It was. It was sad, hopeful, touching, sweet and at times funny.
After Jemma loses her memory in an horrific car accident, it seems that all the beautiful years she had with Braxton, from childhood to adulthood were forgotten. Perhaps never to be remembered. Poor Braxton. My heart bled for him. He adored Jemma. Worshipped the ground she walked on. Couldn’t imagine his life without her. Never thought he would lose her and yet, he did. In one of the cruellest ways to lose her. She was alive but had no memory of him, or the 19 years they’d known one another.
When Braxton starts writing her letters about their lives together, I cried for him. I cried for them. I can’t imagine what it is like to see someone you love. To remember every moment you’ve ever spent with them, and to have them look at you like a stranger.
It wasn’t just Braxton though. Jemma had lost everything. The memories of her parents, her grandparents, Braxton’s parents. Her whole life gone, as if someone had wiped the slate clean and left her to start over.
I loved this. I wish I hadn’t been such a chicken about facing it and reading it, and had read it earlier. A beautifully emotional story of a love that has to be remembered.
