As usual, Connelly has an absorbing story, with a shocking twist. My favorite mystery writer.
Michael Connelly is a master. I’ve enjoyed all his books.
Not one of my favorite Connally books. It was hard to keep track of the characters at times.
Even if a Harry Bosch book is read out of chronological order, Michael Connelly develops his characters completely. Harry might have his flaws, but he loves his family unconditionally and it show.
Bosch…need I say more…
Love Bosch
Something different for me. I can’t put my finger on exactly why this Bosch book holds a firm grip. Maybe because he travels abroad to a different culture. But whatever it is, I liked it a lot. Harry is always a great detective and this one certainly leaves you hanging on to the page until the last one turns.
Connelly is the master, and Bosch is one of the great detectives in modern fiction. This one takes him out of his element (and country) but he uses his gritty experience and to hell with it attitude to get the job done.
I love every book in this series, but this one touched a nerve
