I was into this book the first half then it just fell down from there, I will be continuing this series and if the second book is like this one then I might not read the third book.
Excellent read. Grabs the reader right from the start. So many twists and turns the reader never knows what’s coming in the next chapter. Can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of the series.
Weak
Could not put this down. I was scared to go to sleep!
I did not like anything about this book. Without ruining the book for others to read, I do not like reading about what happened to this girl. I know it happens everyday, however, it is not what I like to read. I will not read the other books in this series. If you enjoy reading about stuff like this than the book was okay. Sorry, not for me.
Awful. No recommendations
ending could have been better
story line a bit confusing at the end
Nightmares of Caitlin Lockyer (Nightmares, #1), my fourteenth read from author Demelza Carlton. My first read from her was Halycon, back in 2017. Since then I’ve read more than a dozen of her books and began to drift away because of all her re-written fairy tales. This book, one of her earlier works, has been on my TBR list since I bought it back …
I like scarry
I thought the premise sounding interesting. A girl that’s been kidnapped and seriously abused, rescued by the main character. Only to find out this situation has happened before, and the “hero” has knowledge of the past kidnappings.
However, after the first few chapters, our hero keeps thinking about how much he’d like to bed this beaten and …
Hi
1
i loved this book but i would not recremend this book if you don´t like scary things
I really like this book. I give it a 10.
This is a good book
Looking forward to reading the rest of this series. First book was free and now have to decide if I will try to find the others in a library or decide if I will purchase them.
When a young man finds a girl who was kidnapped and left to die on the beach, he promises he’ll stay with her so no one can hurt her any more.
This story is a classic suspense story as he is called upon to defend her from the kidnappers on more than one occasion, but there’s also an interesting undercurrent of mystery as we come to understand that …
I liked it and look forward to the next in the series! It is really eye-opening how teenagers are snatched in broad daylight and horribly abused by scummy men!
Received as ARC. This book is a trigger for those who have been sexually and physically abused. Be forewarned. This book pulls on your heartstrings and had a soul that grips you.
