I was a bit disappointed in Ken’s writing if this book — no where near the quality of some of his more well known books. The subject matter was interesting.
5 stars to Ken Follett’s Night Over Water. Someone else I know was reading this one and thought it was amazing. I decided to give it a chance. It WAS amazing. I couldn’t put it down. All the characters work so well together and I decided I like Ken Follett a lot! This is a definite read if you like suspense and thriller combined with some light romance and a bit of history!
The number of stories that interweave, and the possible connections. And who is actually going to win whose heart. I am rambling, but it was just so good.
I think he may be my favorite author these days…
Loved this book! Ken Follet is one of my favorite authors.
A well written book about interesting history, with a well built cast of interwoven characters. Shades of Agatha Christie!
Kept my interest. Enjoyed the book.
Unusual setting; loads of differebt characters; interesting part of history.
I was mesmerized by this book and the alternative theory it presented of a well known news event. I could not put it down.
I am a huge fan of Ken Follett, but this one was just okay.
could have been better.
I like Ken Follett books. This was a good one. Would like to have seen the Clipper!
It was believable, you know they had people just like that during that time.
The book was confusing at times and didn’t hold my interest.

Wonderful characters who weave around each other for a historical trip across the Atlantic.
I always enjoy Follett’s writing. He has a way of handling a large number of characters and make you feel like you know them. A very good read.
This was the first Follett book I ever read and started the journey. Since then I have read everything he has written. His incredible versatility never ceases to amaze me but this still remains my favorite.
Mostly complex and boring
