Trust your fate and be brave. Those were the last words said to me before I was sealed in a crate and shipped to Pacbar. Beaten and broken, I never made it to the capital planet of the Jun’pn Galaxy. My crate was intercepted, opened, and I, a rare valuable creature, was stolen, paraded naked on stage in an open market, and sold to not one, but four Monrok warriors. I know what the Monrok want … the Monrok want from me. I was created for just that purpose, but I need something from them too. I’m on a mission they cannot know of, yet every moment with my new Monrok masters makes it harder to keep my secret.
It’s imperative I reach Pacbar and speak to the Galactic Unity Council, for the fate of the galaxy rests on me, a veran concubine.

Our Monroks have their place in another great story by Aubrey Cara.
This one involves a veran concubine that has to get to Pacbar and address the Galactic Unity Council to warn them before a devestating war starts. On her way to Pacbar, her crate was opened and she was
stolen, paraded naked to be sold on the slave market. Sana is bought by four Monrok warriors, Banx, Tawn, Ast and the contrary one, Jor. Sana now has four mates and the five of them have steaming hot sex as they learn about each other and bond as mates while trying to figure out what to do about their information of the coming problems of their worlds, their lives and how their dynamics can combine together to win their freedom to love each other and survive the dangers that find them. I enjoyed this story and I love the Monrok Warriors with their chosen mate. Sana is a perfect match for the warriors and they do find love with their unusual pairings of one woman to four men, It Works!!!
I wasn’t really familiar with the Monrok universe and it seem like this book had a advances storyline but I was still able to follow along with out being confused. The book itself provided enough information for me to get gist on what was going on. Overall I found this to be a very interesting and entertaining read with plenty of intrigue and action and of course steamy romance. I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
I ADORED THIS BOOK!
Take a Zapexian female on the run with vital information and mix in four Monrok males eager for her company and you have a great time filled with adventure, danger, and love.
Sana needs to impart what she knows to the Pacbars.
Banx, Tawn, Jor, and Ast are free beings, with no one to answer to.
When the five of them meet, sparks fly.
What will the Monroks do when they find out Sana’s secret? Will they leave her behind or follow to keep the Zapex they love?
Aubrey Cara ROCKED Night of the Monrok! I had to keep turning the pages to find out what happened next. The HEA ending had me smiling!
Aubrey Cara’s world of genetically-altered aliens, pleasure slaves, and intrigue is utterly enchanting and out of this world!
Veran, Zapexian concubines, lowest caste of Zapexian society. Raised in seclusion, they’re sold when they come of age. But Sana’s no ordinary veran. Slave to one of King Thaain’s most trusted advisors, she’s privy to secrets that have the potential to destroy the galaxy. She has to warn the Galactic Unity Council. But how? Escape is impossible. When her cherished mentor, Pippen, finds a way off Zapex, nothing can prepare her for what’s about to happen. Kidnapped, stripped, auctioned to the highest bidder, how could this happen? Pippen told her, “Trust your fate and be brave.” What’s the point? Then four Monrok warriors appear and can’t believe their eyes. A veran, on a backwater outpost, up for auction? Unheard of! The fact that the Monrok, genetically-altered warriors once enslaved by the Zapexians, are inexplicably drawn to this veran is beyond comprehension. The Monrok hate everything Zapexian. No matter how beautiful, beguiling, or bewitching this veran, she calls to all four on a visceral level. Banx, Tawn, Joran, and Jor are compelled to buy Sana. What have they done? Zapex is still gunning for the Monrok, even after the Galactic Unity Council declared them free. Sana may hold sway over the four with her siren’s call, but how can they get past their hatred of all things Zapexian. And Sana’s far from honest with them. She needs to get to Pacbar and the Galactic Unity Council, and she’s not above using all her wiles to get there. But, unknown to all five, traitors surround them. The Monrok can’t even agree where to go and what to do, especially when they know nothing of Sana’s plans. As the stakes grow higher with each passing day, Sana and the Monrok all have decisions to make. Can Sana trust the Monrok? Will they believe her? Unlikely, given their history with Zapex. But Sana’s magnetic pull on the four Monrok distract and bewilder them. This should be impossible. As their hands are forced, they have no choice but to trust each other. Can they even make it to Pacbar? Will the Galactic Unity Council deign to hear Sana’s plea, much less believe her? What of the Monrok? The Zapexians are certainly not going to let this go. As events descend into chaos, there’s only one certainty. The Monrok and Sana have to overcome eons of prejudice and hatred and look into the deepest recesses of their souls for the answers that have been right in front of them the entire time!
Aubrey Cara is absolutely phenomenal! I loved this story. She’s created a story that’s not just erotic. It’s premise is fascinating, and the characters are captivating. Sana’s a mere slave, but she’s far more than she appears. She’s constantly underestimated, especially by her Monrok warriors. She’s also filled with hidden potential and power. While her powers may be formidable at times, it’s her genuine compassion and depths of emotion and empathy that make her such an enchanting heroine. And the Monrok? Each of them has a very distinct personality. Each relates to Sana on an entirely different level. They’re as dominant as they come. Banx is the de facto leader, fierce, commanding, but thoughtful. Ast is the gentlest and most thoughtful. Tawn is the joking prankster, hiding behind his façade. But it’s Jor who becomes Sana’s biggest challenge with his undisguised, unbridled hatred of everything Zapexian. That these five can even coexist is a miracle. This is where Aubrey Cara’s brilliance shines. She’s taken these differences, woven them into a rare tapestry of uncertainty, doubt, and possibilities. This isn’t just an erotic romance. It’s filled with intrigue, agendas hidden within agendas, uncertainty, and a convoluted maze of a story. It’s riveting. I can’t give Night of the Monrok less than five stars! Congratulations, Ms. Cara! I loved this story!
A final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and (Amazon) all booksellers’ websites. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to a book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
