NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEMON SLAYERLizzie Brown is all for letting the good times roll…until a dark voodoo church rises up in the bayou outside of New Orleans. Now the ritual fires are burning long into the night and the dead are having a hard time staying that way. Lizzie goes in undercover to put a stop to the madness. Good thing she’s got her sexy shape-shifter husband behind her, as well as … her Grandma’s gang of biker witches. Too bad nobody’s watching Lizzie’s dog, who has become way too friendly with the phantom haunting a long-forgotten Victorian séance room. Secrets and spirits abound. Nothing is what it seems. And when the legions of the dead threaten the city, there may be no stopping them.

Angie Fox’s Demon Slayer series is one of my favorites. I remember reading book one out loud to my husband with tears streaming down my face and not being able to breathe from laughing so hard. Well, book seven still had me laughing out loud. I’ve loved Lizzy’s journey, and her love story with Dimitri. Then there’s the witches..kickass senior ladies who ride Harleys. And let’s not forget everyone’s favorite Jack Russell…Pirate, who has his own pet dragon and makes friends with ghosts. The book was full of action, but also deep friendships and family relations. In other words, it has it all. Oh, we also got to catch up a little with Amie and Dante from GENTLEMEN PREFER VOODOO, which is always nice. If you’re looking for a fun paranormal, that’s not your average vamp or were, has a bit of sass and lots of humor mixed in with the fun, this is your book!
This book is the middle of an on going series and it had me hooked from the first page.
Lizzy is a demon slayer married to Dimitri, a powerful griffin and she’s related to a Coven of biker witches. I love her pets a white dragon named Flappy and a talking dog named Pirate they are an interesting pair.
Now a dragon playing fetch is quite amusing, as is the lazy dog. However, what the dragon brought back was scary and when Evan Christopher, the person who created it showed up it starts a very scary, interesting and fun tale.
Voodoo, rituals, black souls and so much more will have you turning the pages.
I really have to go to the beginning of this series to get the details on all of these really awesome characters.
I do enjoy a good supernatural kick butt story. My only problem was the sex. What pray tell did those pages have to do with the story? Was it to demonstrate the effectiveness of the “sneak” spell? Not at all necessary.
Good story with enough twist to keep you interested and engrossed to see what next?
Love this series!
Great read!
couldn’t get into it, maybe if I had been able to hang in there for a few chapters it may have improved, I didn’t really like the main character though so I gave it up early in the story
Loved the first few books of this series. This one did seem a little redundant but still funny.
Provides a great escape for my brain. A quick vacation.
A fun story but the characters are pretty flat. Certainly a novel idea, though.
Boy these guys know how to have fun
Easy to read. More for young people.
Very well written! I enjoyed every page turning moment. it kept me very entertained I even giggled in a few spots

It was a nice short story. Nothing riveting which is what I prefer but I enjoyed this short story.
Angie Foxx is always wonderful to read. Her books move quickly and are always entertaining.
I would recommend any of her books whole heartedly.
