Wow! “NIGHT ANGEL” is the 2nd fantastic book in the new ‘Gargoyle Night Guardians’ series. I was hooked from the start & didn’t want to stop! … I love this unique PNR storyline, great characters, & witty dialogue. Oh, and don’t forget to wear gloves from the smoking hot romance 😉 Plus, action-packed suspense with surprises that kept me on the edge of my seat! … Even tho I volunteered to read this book, these are my own feelings without any outside influence. So yes, I can honestly recommend this to adult 18+ fans of fiction, and now I can’t wait for more!
I had a great time reading this book and was highly entertaining with each turn of the page. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly from beginning to the end.

Great new series! This is the second book in this new gargoyle series. Seth was falling in love with Hannah and vowed to protect her against the dangerous fae who was out to get Hannah due to her innocence and virginity. He felt he was not good enough for her due to his past. Hannah was also falling in love with Seth and knew he would protect her. In the end, Seth protects her, gains her love and gains his humanity.
Being the second book of the Gargoyle Night Guardians series we met Seth in the first book. He is so polite and caring. We also met Hannah in the first book when she reunited with her sister, Sadie. Sadie found her love, Beaumont, a gargoyle turned human and always wanted that kind of love for herself. Hannah was kidnapped and held by a dark fae that marked her soul for the taking after her birthday. Sadie and Beaumont are on their honeymoon and Hannah is at home alone and even with the house warded against evil she is still in danger. Seth is enthralled with Hannah even if he doesn’t feel worthy. She is being targeted by the dark fae and someone she once trusted. Seth risks his freedom to protect Hannah from these evil beings. Hannah has her own idea of how she wants to live her life and hiding out is not part of it. There is sadness in this story when things go wrong and a friend becomes an enemy. This is a fantastic series and I love reading about the Gargoyle Night Guardians and I’m looking forward to Wynne’s story. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
This is the second book in this series and is another great one. It features Hannah, sister of Sadie and a college student, and Seth, friend of Beaumont and a gargoyle. Hannah is celebrating her 19th birthday and is in danger because the evil fae Marco wants her good essence and to give her virginity to Gwawl as a gift so he can move up in the hierarchy. Seth is determined to protect Hannah since her sister and brother-in-law are on their honeymoon and she is alone. Seth’s bff and gargoyle buddy Finn is now his enemy since he was turned into a fae and his supervisor is a pain in the you know what and Seth is stretched thin. Can he keep Hannah safe and resist the attraction between them? Read this one and find out.
Book two of the Gargoyle Night Guardians series a well written story with a very good storyline. I was not putting the book down until I had finished. Seth Denton, Gargoyle Night Guardian and Hannah McAllister’s story of suspense, drama, danger, villains, and romance. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
He’s a gargoyle.
In the second book in this series, it’s Seth’s turn.
He’s a little bit conflicted.
Hannah needs a guardian from a supernatural baddie.
She’s being corrupted.
4.5
Sweet, sexy, intriguing and suspenseful paranormal romance that in an engaging and captivating story. This is a unique gargoyle story that really is a great addition to the series. Hannah and Seth have sizzling chemistry and great interactions. Very entertaining and intriguing read that I could not put down.

I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 2 in the Gargoyle Night Guardians, and I personally think it would help to read book one, Heart Bandit, before this one. Things happen in that book that have a direct impact on this one, and it will give you a better and bigger picture of who the people, the gargoyles and the fae live in it.
Hannah was marked by a dark fae in book one, and now he comes to collect his prize. When Seth realises that, he goes against his superior, and faces being locked in his gargoyle form for weeks, but he can’t let anything happen to Hannah. The sister to his best friend’s mate has wormed her way into his heart, and even though they can never be together, he WILL keep her safe.
I enjoyed this second book, but I didn’t love it like I did book one. WHY?? Not a clue, maybe it was Hannah and Seth, maybe it was just their story I don’t know. And you know how much I hate not being able to word what I’m feeling!
I enjoyed that we got some more of the bad guy, especially as he gets his just desserts, but not in the way you think. The BIG bad guy, though, he doesn’t get a say. I wonder will HE get his come-uppence, at some point, hmmm??
I did think that Finn, another gargoyle who plays a huge part here, was not the man he portrayed here, I thought he was up to something else entirely for much of the book. Don’t know WHY though, something had my mind whirring, and I’m still not convinced that he won’t pop up again at some point, either, despite what happens to him here.
I LOVED the connection to Seth that Hannah seemed ot have from so long ago, and how it was relevant to his gift! Loved that.
Beaumont and Sadie (from book one) play a small part, since they are away on their honeymoon and Wynne, the scorned witch in that book, also plays a part. She is paying for what she did to Beaumont in that book, and it’s killing her.
Wynne’s book is set up rather nicely, and her book is next. The blurb for that book doesn’t name which gargoyle she is paired with, but I have my suspicions.
Thank you, Ms Redd, for my copy, I thoroughly enjoyed this, just not as much as Heart Bandit.
4 solid stars

Unique ideas with the gargoyles and the evil Fae. The gargoyles are tasked with protecting humans from the evil Fae and there’s also a possibility of redemption for the gargoyles that successfully complete a task that shows they have improved themselves for the better. Seth is a gargoyle, who feels romantic towards human, Hannah, but he feels he doesn’t deserve to have someone so pure and innocent as Hannah, so he resists the pull towards her. Unfortunately, Hannah has been marked by an evil Fae, so she’s in danger and needs help. Seth will do everything he can to help her, but lots of things get in the way of him doing that. I liked the passion between Hannah and Seth, and I loved how protective he is of her. I wanted there to be more connection between them though; I wish their time together felt more like it would’ve happened anyway without all the turmoil going on. I was getting annoyed of Seth’s wallowing about how much Hannah is like his dead wife; he mentions it all the time, so it made it seem like that’s why he was attracted to Hannah. I wanted him to like her for more than her innocence thing; it didn’t come across in the story for me that he appreciated other things about Hannah besides that. I got tired of his whole she’s too good for me thing too; it was mentioned too much. I also didn’t need for some woman Seth slept with to tell Hannah she should sleep with Seth because he’s oh so good in bed; It didn’t add anything to the story to have it be known that he slept with her, and it just felt eww for me. I wanted to feel like Hannah and Seth would work beyond just being attracted to each other and I didn’t feel that a lot of the time. I still went with a high rating because the whole story is entertaining and overall, a fun read for me. I can feel the heart of the story, so that gets top marks for me. Just the whole overall idea is really cool.
I enjoyed this second book in the series. I do recommend reading them in order for the most enjoyment but you definitely could read this as a standalone.
The first book covered her big sister getting her own gargoyle and making a connection again with her after many years of pain and separation. Her sister is ready to honeymoon with her mate and it leaves her in danger. There is a dark fae who wants to claim her and won’t let her go.
They are very different in terms of their experiences. He has become jaded and afraid to connect while she has never had a relationship at all. There is a definite chemistry between them.
I really liked how protective he was of her even when it placed him in great jeopardy. She wants him to be with her but wants it to be for the right reasons. She is not a weak person even if she doesn’t match his strength and experience.
I am looking forward to the next book. The other characters are just as intriguing and their relationships will definitely be complicated.

The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Hannah and Seth is amazing. The storyline is entertaining and filled with action and intrigue. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Well worth reading!
I received an ARC and volunteer to leave this review. . This was a fantastic book and I’m looking forward to the next in series. Rosalie has done it again with her wonderful writing. all the characters.
This is a super, super paranormal romance! I loved it!! It is spellbinding with its wonderful characters and emotional plot. This book has just bowled me over! I voluntarily received this book for an honest review.
What a gargoyle hero! Loved self-sacrificing Seth!
4-4.5stars
The gargoyle hero was great. His devotion to protecting Hannah and his clear regret over the callous things he’d done as a human made him such a tragic and sympathetic character. Rosalie Reed has created some excellent new paranormals with a life or death struggle between good and evil and humans caught up in the middle.
I liked the constant action and the inventive worldbuilding, particularly the twist that created Finn’s altered fate. And talk about despicable villains! Fae Marco is one sick puppy! Altogether a tense, exciting adventure with true love on the line. The big love scene was, however, just too drawn out; I had to skim through it. And Hannah, the heroine, was goodness and innocence, yes, but she just kept repeating some stupid moves and putting herself (and Seth) in danger. Seth’s angst, pain and good heart made him my favorite of the two by far.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is a sweet and suspenseful story with strong characters in Seth and Hannah. The author brings action and danger and had me glued to the pages. It’s well written with detailed and descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and is a captivating read. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Didn’t realize this was a pure virgin story, I generally try to avoid those as authors like to make them almost stupid in their purity. I have never touched myself, insert heaving chest and trembling lips…you get the picture.
Hannah is one of those types. Please understand I don’t have a problem with virgins but when sex is perfect the first time around for a beginner you just roll your eyes because reality is never that perfect.
This story is very light, the good guys albeit they have a bit of gray to them and the bad guys are pretty much set, the bait is Hannah.
We have our gray gargoyle Seth who has lost someone in his past and he is carrying the guilt of that weight around. He keeps saying he’s not good enough for Hannah it doesn’t stop him from sniffing around her all the time that’s for sure.
Hannah is exceedingly blindingly pure, while Seth has been known to have a series of one-night stands with the ladies from the dance club when he has a night off.
It seems Hannah’s purity is a lure for the bad guys and they are trying to drain her dry unbeknownst to her.
You do come to care about these two as both characters are actually likeable, however if you are looking for depth and great character building you probably wont get that from this story. If you are looking for something light with some heat then you have found it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Seth was a gargoyle by day and fighting the dark fae at night to try to keep humans safe. Hannah was Sadie’s sister and loved to draw. Marco tried to take her quite a few times but Seth was there to stop it. He saved Hannah from Marco and faced his fears and him and Hannah got their wish! But Marco got away again! Happy ending for Seth and Hannah!
Hannah and Seth have an intense and suspenseful story. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! I was so sad about Finn. I kept hoping he was a double agent, but I felt he redeemed himself in the end. Love this series.
